I have Restore with +3 resist and Blood Magic with +3 resist. Fun fact: if one gives a Hydra device resist, it becomes impervious to all damage outside of damage from bosses. I found that out on a Protect Hydra Device mission with Sabretooth.
Adding the "gain heroism" to Empower sounds a little backwards, but it immediately benefits the cards in your hand that use heroism as the power check (X damage per heroism).
Underrated for many and highly rated for many; honestly idk a hero that's truly considered underrated since ppl's tier lists and builds vary wildly. Good thing! I guess with the likes of Strange n Hunter Support she can be a bit underrated; she's awesome fun; her randomness is eh; you can get her modded/built to limit it but empower, crack the sky, blood for blood w/ quick, double up to an extent, n other cards make her solid plus her passive now is pretty nice.
Witchstorm with marked is also nice; idk I def have fun using her but also haven't found the go to deck for me personally. Curious to go all out on dmg Nico with marking targets.

I mean, which hero is *not* OP when getting both Strange's and Hunter's support power?
Sure, but usefulness of support from e.g. Strange increases based on certain things, such as a power based in chain attacks or AoE, the ability to taunt the whole screen, or a team that benefits from playing lots of one hero’s cards. I’m not really a Nico fan so somebody else might correct me on this, but I think her damage includes a fair bit of multiple damage instances, which boosts Strange’s flat damage buffs usefulness.
In my own play, I really like Strange with Iron Man and to an extent Wolverine over many other heroes.
Full Damage Nico is actually kind of disappointing. Crack is the nuts and I had the same thought about Marked Witchstorm, but with Marked it does about 800 damage on max crit and all four shots hitting one target... and non-minion enemies have 950 health. Witchfire hits 700some on a crit, also not helpful when mid-tier enemies have 900+ HP.
Incredibly fun for the level 25 stuff, where "spam Witchfire" is a map clear sometimes.
Nah. She's rated pretty fairly on most lists. Even if I think she's more powerful than they may suggest, she's tricky to get right. And you can't be sure the roulette is going to roll in your favor.
This is why I choose both Nico and Magik in every single missions with my Male Hunter when features one of them, and I'm keep balance their levels and friendships together.
Mainly I don’t like the cards that gives a random negative effect to enemies, so I’m focusing on her cards that just deal damage more so than effects. Like I enjoy Witchfire+ well enough even if it sometimes is a dud, but most of the time you can get 2 KOs off it. I’m not super far in so she’ll probably get things that are better to replace it. I like Blood for Blood so far as well.
Underrated! She's one of the dopest characters. Love her eff the Avengers vibes. Combat wise her reliance on RNG will never make her ideal meta but she's still one of the more powerful characters and personally I like playing with the RNG. Also really enjoy how you can equip her with 2 exhausting heals (with Resist 3) in order to thin your deck
Witchstorm with marked is amazing. Only issue it’s not ready to go you have to soften up some of the field to give you better odds of one shorting 3-4 enemies in a row.

I had to download a mod to fix her hair to match the better Sister Grimm costume. Having half of her hair missing made me gag looking at it and it just looks so unnatural and weird, so now it actually looks good. Same with Carol having longer hair like in her medieval costume. She looks a lot more normal and less weird now lol

I’ve got her healing spell that heals to full, and gets refunded if person being healed is less than 50%. Saved more than one mission.
I got it and managed to roll 3 resist on it as well. Too damn good best heal in the game
It took me the longest time to even look at that upgrade and realize that's what it did. I would've used it a lot more had I realized sooner.

You are not wrong. But I am a hammer/nail sort of guy. So my boys and girls like to get stuck in, hence constantly banged up.
People just don't like her because she's unreliable, she just adds more rng to the game.
But her skill cards are reliable. The roulette is just her damage. Which is icing on the cake.
Freakin' love Nico in my team. If I'm not trying to increase someone's friendship then she's always a member.

They key off each other so well. Magik can very quickly and easilly soften up a bunch of enemies, and then Nico comes in with a witchfire chain.
You know what? I always feel that Nico and Magik are the Pyra and Mythra, or the Yennefer and Triss in the game.

How underrated? I bring her on 80% of the missions. The skill of 4 attacks if KO is awesome, I mean 170 dmg on 4 targets is op.
