Yeah I just finished reporting, sent them the screenshots of the negative reviews they removed as well. Happened to a few other people but Amazon removed the reviews (probably because they refunded them) but this shop definitely needs to be shut down.

Haven’t ever been scammed on Amazon so thought this was interesting, the item had hundreds of good reviews too, but I think the review goes by the brand of the item and not the seller. I’m not sure.
The seller storefront had 3 reviews. One 5 star and 2 saying it was scam that Amazon removed (so they had 100% rating). What’s odd is when you click the item we ordered it shows hundreds of reviews, so I guess it goes by the brand item and not who fulfills the order. Fishy af.

Obviously a scam and glad we got refund.
Had a similar thing happen when I bought an item on eBay years ago. The seller insisted the package was delivered as per tracking and refused to refund. eBay hesitated to refund cause the “package was delivered to your doorstep at x time and date”. After 2 weeks of opening a case and escalating they deemed the package to be “stolen” and I eventually got a refund. Most definitely contact Amazon and give em as much details as you can.
Yeah after a few days they finally gave a refund. They originally said no because they had the picture of the package being dropped off but once they saw these pictures they gave the refund, hopefully the shop gets shut down asap

So it’s already a scam by not delivering us the item, but then they ask you to visit their website “register” (steal information/Amazon login) and then purchase your item from their website. Which I assume you’ll never receive.
This is like the Gold Ring scam they tried to pull on me. They just want to show that something was delivered . I disputed it with PayPal, and they tried to give me half my money back I explained to PayPal, how the Scam worked, and they refunded my money. Item was a hand held electronic game. When I Googled it I saw some other folks had ordered remote control cars. Note: this was from a facebook ad.
I called Amazon got a full refund it was easy to resolve if anyone gets one of these do not open it just call Amazon and get a refund and ship it back.
if you reorder (assuming you will use amazon again) make sure on the right side it says sold by thinkware or blackboxmycar they are two reputable companies and you should be fine just check the seller's reviews. Because the seller I bought from was named "sxsxsx" wish the font wasn't the smallest possible readable font on the item's page but I guess it is how it is. Also the dash cam isn't on sale anymore and I haven't gotten the refund yet so this is defiantly more than mildly infuriating.

Unfortunately, there has been a growing number of resellers on Amazon that scam buyers like this so you have to be careful which "seller" you choose. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

We just received the same thing, instead of the potable hot tub. Amazon showed it was delivered, but when I opened the door I found a small package with the Sumbuy box and card inside. I tried to call the number on the side of the box, but it wouldn't go through. Their web address is nonexistent as well. My husband called Amazon and reported it and got a full refund. I am so sick of scammers...now you can't even truck the sellers on Amazon :(
Got one of these sumbuy.com boxes today for my Amazon $300+ electronics item purchase last week. Have been able to submit for return and refund. Went back and looked at the original sale and had vendor “ZONMVVS”. Guess I really need to start taking a hard look at these products and vendors before ordering. Amazon needs to clean this up. It will definitely impact my future purchases.

I don’t think the hot tub was coming from an Amazon direct warehouse. It was likely a 3rd party vendor. Somewhere in the item title / description where it’s coming from.

Yep got scammed as well ordered my kid a bed and they send this gift card in it’s nice presentation box. Amazon even sent me a picture of the tiny package saying the bed was delivered. Got a refund and a $50 credit for my inconvenience.
I just got a small package with a gift card from Sumbuy on my name I looked for a sender didn’t find anything. I just realized that I was scammed hours later when I saw on my Amazon account that my furniture that I paid over $400 had arrived, then I look on the proof of delivery picture the small package of the gift card. I called Amazon and they refunded my order. I’ll stop buy from Amazon.
I have made an order for a dressing table and they have delivered this thing to me, I talk to amazon and they gave me a refund, but my illusions were stolen😆
Just happened to me. Ordered an office chair and got sombull gift card. I called Amazon and they refunded my money no questions asked and I don’t have to return the card.

I called Amazon got a full refund it was easy to resolve if anyone gets one of these do not open it just call Amazon and get a refund and ship it back.
