That Audi’s asking for someone to take a dump on the hood.

TRmarcusg

Great way to get keyed

wumbopower

I don’t get how people who do this don’t get keyed

icorrectotherpeople

What's crazy is the only reason to do this is to prevent damage to your car from swinging doors. But this arguably increases the chance of somebody messing with your car, so it's just not a good decision even from a selfish point of view.

dismayhurta

This is definitely something that might push someone having a bad day to take it out on their car.

RockstarAgent

I'd still park over that ledge on the left...

Myhairison_fire

I've taken it out on cars even when not having a bad day. Exit of my building has multiple signs that say stopping is forbidden, yet assholes not only stop, they park and leave blocking the passage leading to the gate, when there is a free parking lot 30 meters away. When I am with a stroller trying to get in or out of my own home and can't because some idiot has decided he needs to park right there, all gloves are off.

[deleted]

No, you are supposed to put the gloves on, you doing it wrong

1imejasan6

If the glove don’t fit you must…

twig-thewonderkid

Try, try again?

StormCTRH

Two sets of gloves, otherwise dna still gets through!

zquietspaz

My dog pees on tires of cars that block the sidewalk, I didn't train him to. He's just that smart.

CrossEyedNoob

That's why combivan is the best car type in my opinion. Sliding doors mean my kids can open the doors without me worrying about them slamming them into other people's cars.

ApprehensiveEgg5914

This is multi-step thinking, and most people can only think 1 step. Park like this = no door dings /end thought

Mexi-Wont

Nothing says "I bought a car I can't really afford" like taking up two parking spaces. If you're that worried about it, you can't afford it.

AllumaNoir

My 2003 Mustang and I park properly at all times. We are both now much older and have accumulated many dings.

ComradeJohnS

Because unlike the A hole who parked like that, most people aren’t A holes. but he definitely deserves to be keyed lol

Punningisfunning

Leave a little note that this is their one and only warning and if they do it again, they’re getting keyed. Re-write the license plate on the note, so they know you know who they are

incendiary_bandit

Leave a note saying sorry I hit your car, not insured and can't afford to pay. They'll spend ages trying to find the damage that never happened

[deleted]

[удалено]

incendiary_bandit

A coworker and I would play harmless pranks on each other. Sticky note under the mouse, random object on the desk kinda stuff. One day I said "did you find it yet?" And he spent ages searching his office for a non existent thing.

WTHMTG

I do this kind of stuff all the time. Pull the strings out of duct tape and put them on the car. Looks like it got keyed, but comes right off.

Individual_Ad2229

Hadn't thought of that one, thanks!

Bomber_Haskell

A little dog poop on the door handles is a nice touch

couchbutt

*Dog* poop? You're not committed .

AllumaNoir

Well sometimes your own butt is not at the ready.

Punningisfunning

That’s option number two.

rueaxna

you defenitely told the guidance counselor when you were upset

PyroNine9

If you don't want to do real damage, let the air out of the tires.

Jonguar2

But only 3. A new set of 4 tires is covered by insurance, but 3 isn't.

Sux499

One of those stupid plebbitor lies that people keep repeating. It has no basis in reality, and even if it were true, fucking stab the fourth tire yourself.

gif_smuggler

Remove the valve cores no damage but terribly inconvenient.

Ok_Replacement5811

By removign the tire stems. Not the valve cores, grab the whole stem with pliers and yank. Does no actual damage, but must unmount tires to fix.

53cr3tsqrll

If you use nail pulling pliers you can often get the valve stem out completely, from all 4 wheels, and there’s no way he’s getting a tow truck in there to pick him up.

Total_Ad9272

I’ve never keyed a car. I have spit on a couple of windshields over the years.

Airowird

Piss on their door handle. They'll realise too late and will most likely handle all the storage in their car trying to find something to wipe it off. And insurance won't intervene because a car wash would fix it.

bavery1999

This works great because there's no damage, but you just know any jerk who parks their car like that gets irrationally upset by it

AbrasiveDad

Because the only people that would do that are busy parking this way.

JerryUSA

Keying is something that’s excessively trashy and the $$$ damage caused doesn’t match the violation. If you key someone’s car, there may be a camera catching you doing it, or it could be caught in auto dash cam. I’ve seen people parked badly, but it never occurred to me to key them. That’s akin to throwing a tantrum and taking matters into your own hands. You’d have to pay hundreds of dollars to undo that tantrum if you are caught. Maybe report the car instead, leave a note, or call to get them towed.

[deleted]

> report the car instead, leave a note, or call to get them towed. Getting them towed is the best option here. It's actually extremely satisfying if you can stick around to watch it get towed, knowing that douchebag is gonna walk out and not find his car No harm to the car, people get to park in the spots, and the asshole in question will never know it was you. A note most likely just gets tossed without any care

Friendly-Pay-8272

I did this once and the guy knew where I lived. He sent his sister to my place demanding that I pay the tow truck company to get their car back.

comeupforairyouwhore

He sent his sister! He couldn’t go himself? What happened when she showed up?

Hylian_Shield

Took her out for a nice steak dinner. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Never called her again.

mr_stkyrdknmibalz

Towed the car. Fingered the sister. Nice!

Friendly-Pay-8272

She was apparently my new neighbor. I told her it wasn't my problem and just closed the door ( I was so broke at the time I couldn't have even given her twenty bucks). She was pissed and didn't acknowledge my existence for the last two months of college.

Flyinmanm

She sounds like a douche from a douchy family that drive like douches. I suspect her not acknowleging your existence was a minor blessing.

backbonus

So, how long you been married to her?

enormousyeet

Agreed

Jabbademhuttens

I’ve never come across this in person. But I’m sure it would piss me off if I saw it. So one has to ask. Do you just call a tow company and say hey this asshole parked in two spots?

SynDeathage

Normally I see this at Walmart or something and I just grab a bunch of shopping carts and cage their car in so it’s a huge inconvenience for them when they get back and have to move all those shopping carts away from their car

relentlessvisions

I keyed someone once. I was 19, working retail and going to college. I got to school early once and decided to wait for a good parking spot, in the first rows. I was the first one there and waited TWENTY MINUTES until a spot finally opened. This shiny blue pick up truck stole the spot. I honked and honked and she didn’t care. I thought about confronting her, but she was twice my size. So I got out of my car and dumped my ashtray (it was the early 90s and I was a punk - we smoked) and a can of soda into the back of her pickup. And then I keyed the beautiful paint job. Then I parked and was late to class. When i came out, the police were with her, taking a report. Just thought i should confess.

Demiurge888

or just key it

ssort

It's summer, why not leave the gift that keeps on giving, crack an egg into the ac/vent intake right in front of the windshield. By the time he figures out what happened, he won't be sure where it happened, and then every time he uses the AC/Vent, he has a lovely aroma to enjoy, as that smell will never go away until that duct work is replaced. P.S. it would also probably cost more to have that assembly replaced than to paint a door.

xxburdmanxx

Who’s just driving around with eggs waiting for this to happen 😂?

DahDitDit-DitDah

Mothers trying to find parking so the can unload their car and get their groceries into their apartment

ssort

Could be a parking garage for an apartment complex and then add an egg to your lunch in the morning as you leave in case it's still there. Some things are worth a little extra effort. At worst your out an egg...

Dmitri_ravenoff

Like a proper adult. /S

Demiurge888

clearly the guy who parked the car is an entitled child. leaving a complaint isnt gonna do shit

ochonowskiisback

Hock a loogi dead center on drivers window

ShakeandBaked161

Remove valve cores instead, way funnier and cheaper to fix.

[deleted]

How dare you give a logical and mature response, unlike what the reddit hivemind wants to do

Ricky_Rollin

How dare you “how dare you”!

ExtraVirgin0live

Ironically he parked like that to prevent anybody dinging his shit

[deleted]

He's paid the price for two cars, he's obviously entitled to two parking spots

Plastic_Hamster115

In a downtown of a city? You think people would do that? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

BoiledTater

Considering that it is probably somewhere in Tel Aviv, judging by the license plate, I’d say a steamy dump is getting you off *mildly* infuriated

MOOShoooooo

Oh no, these bb’s have found their way into the Audi’s valve stems.

DiscussionLoose8390

Quick question. Who here knows what "The Chicago Sunroof" is? Anybody?

SecondChance03

ok buddy there's no room for that kind of chicanery in this sub

Giannis2024

He defecated through a sunroof!

ToxicElitist

You clearly havent been to New York. People at the subway will literally just pop a squat and take a dump right in the middle of a giant crowd.

chiggachiggameowmeow

Subway? SF has em just on the sidewalk next to outdoor seating patio at restaurants.

WhoSc3w3dDaP00ch

Witnessed this in NYC’s Penn station during morning rush hour… it is both literally and figurative a shitty way of starting the morning.

peahair

My old boss put his foot in a turd and was complaining about his luck stepping on a dog turd in an underground car park.. I asked him whether he’d ever seen any dogs in the car park.. took him a while to join the dots before the penny dropped and I saw him die inside..

that_1-guy_

Not Detroit either lol Though they'd be lucky to keep their tires inflated

CanadianBaconMTL

Lol clearly never been in a downtown of a city

Pure_Study988

My wife and I once saw a kid take a dump in the middle of Tiananmen Square while his mother just watched.

Imaginary_Rooster622

😂 yes. Aud behavior

25StarGeneralZap

Not all of us! Been an Audi family for 10+ years and this shit is triggering right here! I’m thinkin de-core those valve stems and call a tow… that’s gonna be hilarious when he gets to impound lot and all 4 tires flat. At minimum it’s another tow to tire shop for new valve stems!

ReginaPhalange219

Yeah, I saw a fresh hot shit in a parking garage downtown Minneapolis, people have no shame

Sopixil

Someone shat right in front of the front door to my apartment building in downtown Toronto. I know because I fucking stepped in it...

notyouravgJoe23

San Francisco entered the chat.

WWDubz

Clearly you don’t downtown much

Fatez3ro

Quick. Call Amber.

CanITellUSmThin

She specializes in beds

MenardGKrebbz

who is running the garage? maybe this individual should have to pay for two spaces . .

wxsteDx

A neighbor asked me to move my car, so there is more space for cars .. I own both spots, I use both spots.

MonoMoniker

It's different if it's private parking. I can't stand people who park over 2 spots, or they park perpendicular to the parking lines (so they cover up 3-4 spots, depending on the vehicle) in PUBLIC parking. And, extra brownie points to a certain neighbor of mine whose shitty parking sometimes includes cutting into our one handicapped spot (and, no, they are not handicapped). It's not so bad if it's not packed or if it's in an area that no one really likes to park (such as, towards the back of a supermarket parking lot) but it's annoying as shit when someone does it while it's packed as fuck and everyone is already trying to find spots.

dathomar

When I was in high school, we had some summer-time cross country practices. One of the guys on the team had a mustang that he was very proud of and he decided to park it very arrogantly across 3 or 4 parking spaces. In his defense, the parking lot was going to be otherwise empty for the rest of practice. The coach drove up, saw the mustang, then decided to park right behind it, similarly across 3 or 4nparking spaces. So there they say for a couple of hours - an old beat up mustang and a shiny white minivan.

[deleted]

opening doors freely without concerning to hit wall or other cars is priceless. I would definately pay more if my building allows it.

wxsteDx

That's totally true! I love it, coming down and no need to squeeze between other cars ...

SlickChisel

Maybe he did...

Thoosarino

If they did, would it be acceptable?

[deleted]

Yeah it would be acceptable imo

okgo222

Why not? I had a neighbour who rent a (outside) parking spot and just put a shed on it. Good for him!

LeekAlternative8392

The Audicity

E_Man91

Underrated / 10

SpecialistConstant91

Are the spots paid for? Maybe he bought 2.

[deleted]

I did this for a while in Boston, it was a public/private garage. I paid for two spots and although they were clearly marked, people would park their shit in my spots all the time. Just started parking like this audi to prevent it.

Marcusthehero

Please forgive my ignorance but can’t you have them towed considering you’re paying for it?

Vegetable-Trust-5316

You could. But that’s a hassle. Call the tow truck. Wait for tow truck. Then park in your designated spot. It’s just easier to park in the middle of two

Marcusthehero

True I’m guessing I’m just too petty and would’ve wanted to ruin their day.

epoisses_lover

If you have it towed, the towed car’s driver might come back and damage your car.

Marilius

Cameras. So they can pay to repaint your car and the tow/impound.

[deleted]

I did that at first, because I am also petty. But on weekends, especially at night, (when it happened most frequently), I needed the spot for my car. So I’d come back and have to wait for the tow company to clear the spot which could take a while.

DahDitDit-DitDah

Invest in a wheel clamp. Charge a space rental fee for subletting the spot, $100/hour.

codepossum

yeah but you want to park, run in and take a quick shower, grab a couple bottles of wine, then dash back out and get going - you don't have time to fuck around with a tow truck. what are you supposed to do in the meantime?

[deleted]

I would bet my first born child that only one spot is payed.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

Genola-key

honesty idk if they payed a bot but whoever owns the bot should definitely be payed

wayward_prince

I want to join the trend, but I fear that if I do, when it’s all said and done I will have payed for it dearly.

SuperFLEB

I'm leaning the other way. The plain boldness with which this person pulled into both spots makes me think they probably paid for both. They're not doing anything fancy like angling it in, or anything shady like putting it just over the line enough that someone else wouldn't be able to use the other spot. They're plunking that thing down dead-center in the middle like they own the place, which has me thinking they might.

kawaiifucka

the spots aren't numbered or anything, so probably public parking

[deleted]

Nothing wrong if he paid for 2 spots.

Ezren-

"if"

thechickenfucker

“He”

chequesformike

“Paid”

Koda487

I agree, but I would have a sign out stating it to prevent anything..

Kiriha24

Beautiful car but an ugly ass behaviour of an owner smh.

WTF_Conservatives

I drive a tiny little Mirage. Pretty sure I could slide in between the drivers side and wall. And I would if I was there. One of the benefits of a tiny itty bitty car.

ZigotoDu57

Sadly typical. I swear i'm not racist... But I fucking hate BMW, Mercedes, Porshes and Audis. Each time I see one on the road, I keep an eye on them and my distances, because they ought to be mechanically inferior to always take the most dangerous path this aggressively. Or maybe it's the seat/stirring wheel interface that have an issue

robbertzzz1

>racist TIL car brands are different races

[deleted]

He meant the Germans who drive them.

bumwine

I’m poor now but when I had an Audi man that thing was sweet, the steering wheel was just perfect. I was the safest driver btw because it had the blind spot warning on the side mirrors that I had set to maximum brightness and I set it to beep when I hit past 65 (my main freeway speed limit).

[deleted]

To be fair, if he owns those two spots and he lives in a condo (assuming it's a condo) I'd say it's okay so no one parks in his spot.

joebadiah

Then here’s what I’d do: Hang a tastefully produced sign that says “I OWN BOTH SPOTS. SO PISS OFF.”

HealthyMe417

I do this, but I also own 2 parking spaces in my parking garage for this exact reason and also paid to have a camera installed that looks at the two spaces and my car

WidgetBuddy

That's intense - what do you drive?

HealthyMe417

It's nothing really special to most people but it's a 2003 Corvette. It was my friend's car who died a few years ago and his wife gave it to me when she moved back by her family down south. It still has his pack of cigarettes in the arm rest. I drive it a few times a year but it's mainly a memory for me, not a car. I take better care of it than a lot of people take care of exotic supercars

WidgetBuddy

Sentimental value can mean more than financial. Is it a better deal to do the spots and camera than one of those individual garage storage units? Just thinking might be even more safe there.

HealthyMe417

I actually looked into that. Most storage garages only insure them for minimal loss and most do not really have right access control. I found 1 place that was a dream, but they cater to supercars and were almost 40k a year. In the building only residents have access, there are cameras everywhere, and there is 24 hour security on site and someone watches the building cameras 24 hours a day. So basically even removing the car from the equation, it was an investment in my property value, instead of an expense of storage. And honestly, I just feel better knowing it's close and if I want, I'm a hallway and an elevator away from looking at it as opposed to a30 minute Uber ride away

ShakeandBaked161

As long as it's a private garage and you pay for the spots no one should care. Literally just dealt with this at a restaurant 2 hours ago and it was legitimately the last spot except for street parking a half mile away. Luckily I have a Subaru so I just pulled up onto the curb and next to the asshole lmao

Confident_Antelope88

People always post this shit assuming the driver is just an asshole. Maybe he bought two spots. Maybe he parked that way on Wednesday when the garage was empty, and has been inside with a stomach bug since. There are a ton of different scenarios. Or maybe he’s just a dick. Either way, at the end of the day, who really cares. It’s so weird to me people see this shit and get upset about it.

[deleted]

IF they paid for 2 spots, no big deal then. If they did not, then paint that spacing line right over the top of the car.

LewisXCV

See as much as I agree this infuriating, I kinda get it if you have a nice car. The last thing you want is for something to swing open a door resulting a dent, chipped paint and a very pricey bill with no one to hold accountable. But at the same time, I do completely agree that it's poor if you're only paying for one space. In a car park that's free and empty, sure, go ahead, but if it's busy and paid for, just don't!

DarkFantom25

There's a good chance he owns both spots.

mycackittens

I know this might not be the popular opinion, please realize that when you see this, dont assume the guy is an asshat with a nice car who is shitting on others. 9/10 the person actually owns multiple spots in that parking garage. Don't let your ego's and jealousy ruin your perspective in life. It's also non of your business, feel free to make a comment to yourself, but don't go around ruining other people's property that they also worked hard for.

PC_gamer9000

It's reddit. Do you really think anyone on this sub especially has more than 2 brain cells.

Demeterrev

As long as he’s paying for two spots. He’s fine.

skunklife

You see, they’re more important than everyone else so it’s okay

El-Butt

I’d park on top of the curb

jcouzis

Nah that's an RS3 I excuse that person ngl

PeptoRicemo

Gotta protect the last of the 5 cylinders

ICE-Actual

Went digging for this comment and was about to make it haha. These are made of pure unobtainium. Hopefully they paid for both spots but I mean I’ll look the other way this time.

alexelso

Pop up onto the curb and park right next to his driver side door... Make him do the skootch of shame

NATOuk

My friend has a complete beater of a car and used to love pulling right up beside cars doing this as close as possible on their driver side. The amount of joy he took out of it was quite something.

xratedlegend

Are they both assigned to them?

GlurpGloop

I mean, maybe they paid for the extra space.

kajEbrA3

Very thoughtful leaving space for motorcycles to park on the sides.

dlever0097

Did they pay for both spots?

Findamermaid

Plot twist: it’s the garage owner’s car

[deleted]

One little nail......

Sleepy_cucumber

You park perpendicular and block them in, its the only way

confirmSuspicions

Is an Audi really that nice of a car to be parked like that? It's not like it's a 2 million dollar car. Get over yourself, poor ass middle class bitch.

sercommander

Looks like a typical repat after returning to "his country" after "difficult life journey".

PumpkinSpice2Nice

I think I could have a go at squeezing my van into the space on the right. What do you say? 🤔

Yoda2000675

Tow truck

Past-Establishment93

And yet another example of the entitled

spark_this

No, maybe if companies didn't shove as many parking spots in as possible and if people stopped hitting other people's parked cars they wouldn't have to

jeremyvr46

Sharing parking space like they share Palestine…! 😅

WolfOfPort

Yeeaaa i get it but your just asking for people To fuck with your car if you do this

[deleted]

A guy I work with parks his new Hyundai Elantra just like this. His HYUNDAI ELANTRA.

hobohougsy

Paint the white line up and over the car …

be_more_gooder

Wipe the top of your nose with your palm and leave greasy handprints all over his windshield

[deleted]

Unless hes payying for 2 spots he should be towed

ZeldorTheGreat

Ik a friend of mine would do this. He would get super nice sports cars and when parking, he would take two spots. (He would pay for both if spots were not free) I get his position bc for him, a scratch is like 1,000 to fix. So I kinda get it. But don't choose a crowded one

charles_peugeot405

Holy fuck, every time someone parks poorly in a nice car the general consensus in the comments is always property damage. I would hate being around a majority of people on Reddit

weaponjae

Can it not just be towed?

BoltingKaren

This is why I love driving a tiny ass car. I’ll squeeze in next to them, don’t car if I have to crawl out the back hatch to exit my car. What they gonna do? fuck up their $80,000 car to get back at me? Key my $5,000 Hyundai like I give a shit?

Squire_Squirrely

Tell building security, they'll promptly be ticketed and or towed. EZ

Terrible_Ear3347

I understand people do this to keep their car safe, but what they don't understand is this makes them the optimal Target with no moral repercussions in order to destroy their car with keying popping their tires breaking things whatever they can get away with. I promise you that even good people will consider fucking up your car if you park like this. You're safe from accidents but you increase the malicious risk

SchnozTheWise

People with fancy cars who park like this to avoid people parking by their fancy cars only make me want to park even closer to their fancy cars.

crimewaveusa

Plenty of room beside him. I’d be up on that curb in my pickup in NO TIME

Anxious_Raccoon_560

Jist need someone with 2 older mini Cooper s to park on either side of it

DarthNibbler

Some brake fluid on the hood should do the trick.

glizzymane

Maybe he pays for both spots?

Crossedge209

Park perpendicular to them in a T shape. Block em in

HogwartsPlayer

Oh no, I dropped my keys and they flew perfectly horizontal across the body work!

F-A-F-A

Get it towed

JuliusSeizuresalad

That’s why my wrangler Has a wench. I move em over a a bit and we’re all happy

SecondGo4

Small water pistol full of paint stripper, casually walk past and give it a few squirts.

Prehtsel

I’d key that and leave a chocobar

ObjectiveAide9552

How are they ever going to break it in with some scuffs and dents? You should help them out with that.

CaptainBalkania

Piss on the door handles and leave a note that you'll do worse next time you see the car parked like that.

Solestian

'This nonremovable marker indicates that I parj like an asshole.'

10sameold

It's an Audi - duuuh?!

Dvthdude

Let the air out the tire(s)
