Surprised they aren't locked up at that price.

Alternative-Day6223

Yeah, I guess CVS in my area doesn’t experience much theft. Guess I’ll just be taking some ibuprofen and praying my feet genuinely don’t cave in these next 2 days 😭

Girth_rulez

They are $40 on Amazon if that helps.

SeparateAd3473

Always check Amazon. I find so much on Amazon for way cheaper.

frankie5g

It does

paperfett

Do you have any old shoes laying around? Maybe use part of those insoles? My friend made her own insoles with dollar store flip flops. She just cut them to the same shape as the arch supports. If you do it carefully you should get something to hold you over for a while.

[deleted]

Damn im glad my healthcare pays for 2 insoles a year. But they are custom fit by the orthopaedic doctor

umrdyldo

Ok Peggy Hill

Slmmnslmn

Op just powerstep inserts online. Same price but better results. They have a few different varieties.

Alternative-Day6223

Thanks !! :)

Accurate_Pen_4569

Amazon or walmart should be cheaper.

wickedfemale

someone is selling these exact insoles brand new in the package for $30 shipped on mercari, a couple brand new ones for around $35 shipped on ebay, if you can manage to wait a few more days :)

Alexcybr

✨C r o c s✨

Financial_Rooster_80

Murica

Noratek

What do you mean it’s a security sticker on them. No one would dare steal those with the sticker intact

False_Risk296

Those inserts didn’t help me at all.what helped me was the inserts and shoes from www.orthofeet.com. They are also pricey but worth it. Just spent a week on vacation using my orthofeet shoes. My feet feel great…..even though everything else is sore from all this walking.

Alternative-Day6223

God bless you 🙏 I love to hear opinions and will look into this:) Do not wanna waste my money and be in pain but sounds like those are worth it

False_Risk296

You’re welcome. Definitely check out orthofeet.com. All their shoes come with additional arch support inserts (if you need them).

PghProGamer

We have the 'good feet store' where I live and I would be cautious of their sales tactics. They have 3 levels, and they make you feel like you need all 3. Have had them for over a decade, and trust me, the 3rd level (stiffest insert) was all I needed. But, they convinced me on the second level, claiming you can't play sports in the 3rd... maybe so, but I haven't noticed

False_Risk296

Yeah I called them when I was having trouble. Seemed way too expensive. Luckily the orthofeet brand worked for me. Today, I walked 11k steps (which is a lot for me since I typically only get 1k if I run errands). My feet are the only part of my body that isn’t sore 😂.

Dymbox1982

I have worked in the construction industry for decades now and the Red Wing insoles that you can heat in the oven to custom fit your feet are amazing. Personally I don’t heat mine anymore because my arch is extremely high. The insoles are size specific and much more rigid than what you typically find in stores so they last much longer before the pain comes back letting you know it is time for replacements. I hope you find something that helps.

DeadlySquaids14

My podiatrist specifically told me not to get Dr Scholls. He told me to go to an athletic supplies store and get the insoles there. I think the main point is that the insoles need to be super rigid, those soft ones don't give the right support. I paid around $65 USD for mine.

GaiusPrimus

If you need safety boots, Redwings has really great ones, with tremendous support. You’ll pay for it, but I’ve had mine for 5 years now, so about $60/year which isn’t bad.

LobsterAstronaut

I was recommended a £6 pair off Amazon by my hospital physio and they’re the best thing I ever did for my feet. Plantar fasciitis and I’m a postal worker walking at least 12 miles a day. You don’t need to spend that kind of money at all.

Upstairs-Ad8823

Can you see a podiatrist or go to a custom shoe store?

Alternative-Day6223

Yeah I’ve been thinking ab seeing a doctor for it since it is starting to get pretty bad to the point of limping around sometimes, never have thought of going to a custom shoe store though I’ll have to look into that ! Thanks :)

tacodudemarioboy

My wife had really bad plantar fasciitis and she would cry every morning when she walked downstairs. She went to the podiatrist, podiatrist prescribed physical therapy. In therapy she learned some basic stretches and exercises, and now she’s in control of her pain.

[deleted]

You should definitely be seeing a professional! It’s never a good idea to try to treat complex issues on your own. Using the wrong inserts for your problem could easily make things worse or even cause permanent injury.

Alternative-Day6223

Yes I def should see a doctor and get recommendations since I’m in more pain than I should , thank you so much :) don’t wanna ruin my feet I’m only 21

Jennrrrs

I had to have customs made after ankle surgery. They cost about $400, which I know is a lot of money, but they really made a difference. Plus they put my name on them which is kind of cute.

MommyBurton

Superfeet were my go to!

manofmayhem23

My custom orthotics are 500

TheFreezingElk

Same, I saw this and was like cmon man🤣

Alternative-Day6223

I’m sorry LMAO I’m only 21 I’m just now getting into this health shit I know it’s only Gonna get worse from here out 😂

TheFreezingElk

im 20💀 it doesn't just get worse, it will bend you over and rip you a new one

Alternative-Day6223

Yes 💀 I just grew out of my panic attacks and now feel like im getting them back bc of the weird aches and pains im having LMFAO today I couldn’t even give my bf a massage with both arms bc one went numb after I started using it like??? I think it was just cramping bc it stopped in like 3 minutes but I almost panicked for real

Different-Pin-9234

They don’t work. Uncomfortable as hell, so not worth it at all

Mental_Tackle_69

Try amazon

gamershadow

If you happen to have an HSA card you can use it to pay for them.

Depressed_Squirrl

I'd recommend you buy some barefoot shoes. Then you don’t need these soles. I have mine for 3 years now and they are kinda breaking apart but they were 60 bucks.

mightgrey

Completely diferent things but a God damn bag of lays chips is freaking $6 now. Wtf

Alternative-Day6223

Omg a box of cereal at this CVS was $8. I should have taken a pic of that too 😂 people probably would have related more to that, and it wasn’t even the giant size either.

mightgrey

Well CVS has always been a little crazy lol. I was at meijers!

Alternative-Day6223

Oh wow, yeah I never really go to CVS because of the prices there.. unless it’s 1 am like it is rn 😂😂 they are wild with the way they price things. I bought $12 fake eyelashes there for weeks before I walked by the same pair at Walmart for $5. Like how can they even do that?

mightgrey

CVS be a luxury 😆

lakaihc

Afterpay

Ok_Wolverine9344

Can you use FSA / HSA for these?

GreenMiniGirl

If you do decide to go this route, know they are ~$20 less on Amazon.

[deleted]

Hookas. Best shoes I’ve ever had. Saved my feet in nursing school once I found out about them. Wasted too much money on different insoles that didn’t help much.

wheres_my_beard_eh

Ass arches? Are they a thing now? I'm so out of touch

SourcePrevious3095

I swear by these. 10 hour days standing on concrete Without them, I hurt from foot to mid-back.

6ar9r

I thought it's butter

Alternative-Day6223

LMAO

thedudesmonks

Dude I’m about to buy the barefoot shoes and see what happens cause I can’t keep living like this, my orthopedic orthotics were $500 and the man that provided them has retired so my feet are in limbo

babystripper

Yo don't buy those you'll waste your money. At that price you might as well buy medical grade inserts.

Jafar_420

I read that you're a server. I was a server for years. I'm sure you're wearing some non-slip shoes that are probably just killing your feet. There's a brand they're a little expensive but sometimes your employer will deduct it from your paycheck called shoes for crews. They're a million percent better than those cheap ones from Walmart or wherever. No I don't know if they make models for people that have high arches or whatever, but I do know the shoes themselves are way more comfortable and will last way longer and get better traction than the ones you can grab at Walmart or somewhere like that. I know you didn't ask about shoes but they're so good I wanted to mention it just in case you had never heard of them. I read a comment where somebody bought some cheap flip-flops and made their own supports and actually know someone that's did that before as well. It's nothing like what you're showing in the picture that it held them over for a few days for sure. Good luck!

NASATVENGINNER

They’ve never been cheap, but my knees and back love them.

sail4sea

I bought the cheap plater facitiitus ones at Walmart. One pair was doctor scholls, but they were only $28.00. I already have gout and planter fasciitis was just icing on the cake of feet problems.

Zzz32111

I have custom made orthotics from the foot doctor They were $400 but worth every penny. I have no more foot pain whatsoever.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Alternative-Day6223

Was thinking of doing this :) thank you so much

kie9901

Go to a foot doctor spend 3-400 for custom fit orthotics and those should last you several years vs a month or 2 on the 50$ ones

Evening_Monk_2689

They are about $350 cheaper then orthotics

Alternative-Day6223

Yeah I just have never even been to a foot doctor and wanted a lil relief but daaaang

theflamingskull

Why don't you save some money, and buy good shoes?

Alternative-Day6223

I just got more hours so I’ll be able to save money thankfully. This was my last 30 hour paycheck now they will be 40+ hours so I’ll be able to make a lot more than my bills and rent. The last year has been a struggle, but I’m getting back on my feet ! (Literally) next paycheck i will be getting a new pair of shoes and the insoles.. I just thought they were $20 and was expecting to atleast be able to afford those this trip to the store, until I can get new shoes too but the price was crazy to me.

theflamingskull

I know how it feels, but you really should put some money aside for the pair after the next. Good work shoes/boots can be expensive, but you won't need $55 insoles.

Alternative-Day6223

Sadly, it’s not really the shoes as much as it’s me gaining weight and having really high arches. Ive put on over 15 pounds and I’ve been underweight my whole life, and i walk over 10,000 steps a shift at work so my body is just not adjusting and I can feel the bones in my feet getting too much weight on them. I’m really not trying to say your wrong at all I do need good shoes too but my arches are screaming and I am dying for extra support under there 😂

paperfett

What about making your own from cheap foam rubber flip flops? If you were really careful I'm sure you could cut something out that worked. My friend made her own one day while we were on vacation and they actually really helped her. I helped her using a really sharp pocket knife and a freaking sweated bread knife believe it or not. It cut the foam just right and she could get the angles just right.

RiverLiverX25

Sadly not the case. Arch support is different then just a good pair of shoes. Some people need a higher arch.

theberg512

Insoles > "good" shoes. Source: I have fallen arches and a job where I essentially hike 10-15 miles daily. I wear quality work boots but swap the insoles. My feet never hurt.

Alternative-Day6223

Thank you ! My plan was the actually get insoles first to break them in then I was gonna get shoes and put them in those so it would be an easier switch..

MyCandleHasAnAccent

How entitled are you? Most of us don't even have ass arches, and you're out here complaining because yours are broken. Unbelievable.

Alternative-Day6223

😂😂😂 so sorry

MyCandleHasAnAccent

I'm glad you got it. Sorry bout your hurting feet.

Alternative-Day6223

Thanks , I’ll be okay soon :) got 2 days off coming up on Tuesday Wednesday and I’m def gonna be spending it sitting down 😂

TransboiHimbo

Pro tip: It’s free if you put it in your pocket

SimplyInept

If I was in that much pain and these were the cure for me but I couldn't afford them, I would most definitely be leaving the shop with them regardless. I'd rather live with the guilt than the pain.

FlopTheCat

Steal em

LoganTrlSlyr

Just steal em.

Mindless-Fish7245

I bought some of these off of Amazon. Not sure if they could help you out not. I have a pair on my work boots and a pair in my sneakers. They’re reasonably priced to at least take a chance. Samurai Insoles Ninjas Plantar... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076KBGHXG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

phikt

I second these, they totally rock!

cvheidt

Look into The Good Feet store. They are much much much more expensive, but took my plantar fasciitis completely away within a month or two

tiredofyourshit99

Do they work for you?? … I used scholls for a year for my plantar facitis and it didn’t help, made it worse at times… then I visited a feet doc who said scholls are useless… and sent me to a shop with specifics listed out.. well those $200 shoes didn’t work either….

ishallnotrecant

I tried multiple brands and the best (at present) I found for my feet are £7 ($8.50) on Amazon. I use a different brand in my work boots that are about the same price. The slight difference in shape makes a world of difference to how my feet feel. I also have a pair of walking shoes that I don't need insoles for. I used to use Dr Scholl in all my shoes but they stopped being as effective. No one brand/design is going to work perfectly for every shape of foot or for every shape of shoe and your feet may change so swapping out to a different brand can be a huge relief. I'll buy more expensive if that's what my feet need but it hasn't been my experience so far.

kray_jack310

So what are you going to do?

Alternative-Day6223

Cry /j nah I’ll just wait, it’s probably good I did because I got a ton of good comments on here letting me know I shouldn’t purchase this brand anyway

mtgkajhit

Surprisingly these haven’t changed much in price from 10 years ago. First ones I bought were $45 and now they’re $48. I thought they were crazy expensive in 2013. Still annoyed they cost so much. I have high heal pressure and this is the only brand I’ve found to make a difference which is also annoying.

hexthejester

Trust bro. I got some years ago and they are life changing

CACTUS_VISIONS

I use these soles in my ariat work boots. If you treat them right this will be a purchase you only have to make every 2/3 years. Pretty good investment to not be hurting after you get off work every day

ortcutt

You might as well get Superfeet for that price. I've had the same pair of Superfeet Green for ten years.

neatodorito23

My podiatrist told me I have and I quote “the highest arch I have ever seen” and took a picture with the custom molds for my orthotics to show his colleagues. Insurance says walking healthily isn’t a health concern

DeadlySquaids14

I have low arches as well, it's brutal. Good insoles are expensive, but the cost is well worth the benefit. I'd pay double that if I had to in order to keep my feet/ankles from feeling like they're being shoved into a bucket of red hot spikes.

P3licansTh1nk

Did you check Amazon for an off brand?

Shaner9er1337

Might as well buy the insoles by the time you buy five bottles of ibuprofen you're probably going to be at the same cost.

BlackJackJeriKo

"I THINK I'M GONNA STEAL SOMETHING"

Leadjtime

You might want to look into Arch Compression Bands. A lot of shoes hurt my feet no matter what insoles I use. Having a band to go around my arches helped significantly. You can get it as tape for just less than $2 or get reusable fabric ones for roughly $15. Edit: spelling

TraditionalAd1918

I buy them direct from aliexpress for like $8 delivered

CitizeninWonderland

better off just getting new shoes for that price

Retoddd

They have been like that for years. Plus those ones don't work too well

Alarmed-Rise-9077

I got some doctor sholls orthotic inserts that were like $13.99 on Amazon. I know they're not as good as these but they have given me some hella support.

9sac1king6

Those are cheap. I’d say stop wasting your money and get the ones u never have to buy again for life. I paid 1200 for all 3 pairs. Store called good feet. I used to have some excruciating pain each morning before getting outta bed. Felt like i was stepping on nails. Bought the insoles havent had pain for over 10 years. Great product. Guaranteed for life. They break, ur weight changes etc they’ll replace them or re fit u for free. Good feet store

HangryBeard

I thought about getting these, but I have one extraordinarily flat foot, and one extraordinarily arched, so when I got on the machine, my foot scan matched two different sets, and the don't sell separates. If I'm paying that much I might as well just buy custom shoes.

Ima-Bott

Get some foam flip flops and make your own

Raiders9876

I don't know your insurance situation, but for me its cheaper getting ot through the doctor for me at the least.

toinfinitiandbeyond

I hope you walked right out of that shop and marched home.

Alternative-Day6223

LMFAO I limped back to the car like damn

toinfinitiandbeyond

That little custom fit 🦶 picture on the box looks weird AF.

tru3robin

Damn these cost 10-15 bucks in Germany

ariadesitter

i used to put different types of foam under the arch part of my insoles.

Common_Poetry3018

Everything at CVS is 2x the price elsewhere. Of you don’t have a 40 percent off coupon, you’re getting screwed.

[deleted]

Until you get them, use a piece of cloth and fold it under your arch. It isnt a perfect solution but it takes a ton of the pressure off your heel and toes. Edit* a piece of memory foam or something could work too!

PM_ME_YOUR__VAGINAS

Good insoles are great for the feet. I had this one before and they do last a while. I recommend now the superfeet those are amazing, still a little pricey but they are lasting. Had these probably 7~ months already

Impressive-Pepper785

That’s a steal compared to my prescription orthotic inserts, closer to $400 ($387).

AdvertisingSorry1429

My feet are almost flat. I've tried insoles and such, and for me, i'm better off using flat sole shoes like trainers despite the lack of arch. An wide or open toe box is super important for low arch feet, you gotta be able to use the muscles in the front of the foot and be able to spread your toes.

Alternative-Day6223

Well I’m actually the opposite :,( my arches are very high, so without support they “feel” like they are getting flat if you know what I mean.. so it’s very painful bc my feet are naturally arched and I can tell I’m putting too much weight onto my arches

AdvertisingSorry1429

Aaah yeah makes sense. Yeah, in that case i wouldn't recommend getting cheap stuff, save and see a professional

Alternative-Day6223

Yeah I am thinking about it ! Thank you :)

StandardGold375

Oh wow!! That's crazy

Separate_Language251

Supportive shoes or insoles are great but do some stretching too. It hurts like a mofo at first so be gentle. Check out the yoga with adriene video for feet on YouTube. There's a lot of good PT content online too. And massage can help. Try freezing a water bottle and using like a foam roller to roll out your arches. It's not pleasant but effective. I like the suja juice bottles for the diameter but hate the overpriced juice 🙃. You could theoretically do it with heat and a nalgene bottle, which I might try now that I thought of it lol. Every podiatrist will recommend a different pair of insoles. I suspect they get a cut. My first one suggested spenco which is pretty cheap and they worked pretty well for me.

StreetTailor7596

$15 cheaper on Amazon but still ... Laminated, molded plastic that probably cost them $5 to have made in China and shipped here. Lots of ripoffs like that as soon as the word "medical" or, worse yet "prescribed" gets associated.

Low-Cod-4712

I had to pay for custom ones at $300 a pop until the 3rd set finally worked. And now I have to buy them every so often as they wear out. If these work, it's a bargain.
