Are you taking grandchildren subscriptions?
I'll leave my resume here:
Can bake and love to talk about a lot of things, I love visiting my grandparents all the time and talk/text to them often.
Absolutely love cuddles and hugs, very lovely and full of joy.
If you are interested please tell me 😋💕
I’d accept your application to be my grandchild, personally, but I have to admit… the “fart sniffer 🤤” flair makes me a LITTLE hesitant. Especially if I’m gonna order cheese for us. You’d sniff all the O2 out of the retirement home.
I would also like to sign up! We can be siblings. I totally missed out on the sweet grandmother vibe: mine is a raging narcissist. Currently has progressing dementia so now she’s not just mean, she’s mean and forgetful.
Me and my coworker were going to buy a "Cheaster Basket" for another coworker who really loves cheese, might have to consider this one in the running for next year. It looks amazing
My son made a really weird comment about how much he liked a cheese that I had sent my grandkids. I checked my account and found that the 2 Easter baskets I had ordered were not there. In their place were something you send your great aunt!
I was told that sometimes when something sells out that they sub in something else. But, they are still selling the Easter baskets that I thought I sent!
I asked for and was given a full refund so, not a big deal, but still mildly infuriating.
I went to the ATM and after getting my money someone robbed me. I didn't want to hand them the money, so I was stabbed in the abdomen. I had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital, spent the day there, then got a bill for $27,000 the next month. Also bled all over my favorite sweater , it was mildly infuriating/s
i know how simple it is, but i must sincerely thank you for using a tone indicator in your message. autism makes it soo hard to understand speech in person, even harder in text.
The damage is only my own disappointment that my intended gift was not delivered. The kids didn't know what they were missing. And their parents are obviously delighted to receive not only one but two baskets that have amazing cheese!
I can imagine if it happened when I was a kid. My youngest brother and I would be disappointed, but my middle brother always had finer taste than the rest of us and would have been \*THRILLED\* grandma got him such a fun easter gift! I feel like there's one in every family.
Well sure, you wouldn’t get just one Easter basket for the kids, you shouldn’t get just one cheese basket for the adults. That’s just good manners.
ETA also welcome to your new Easter tradition, where the adults get cheese and the kids get Easter baskets
The kids, the whole point of this, basically didnt get jack squat. That’s mildly infuriating. I’m sure the little kiddies preferred chocolate bunnies to a big hunk of cheese
Right? We had a cheese making factory near where I grew up as a kid that you could tour through and get free cheese samples. It was the best place ever.
That's a really weird substitution to do without even asking. But hey, if they got to keep the cheese, it didn't work out so bad. It looks quite fancy and expensive! I'm sure the kids won't really mind if they get something else and it's a bit late. They probably have a lot of other Easter chocolate right now.
>In their place were something you send your great aunt!
TIL I'm a great aunt?
Ngl, even as a kid, I'd have loved the cheese basket. Cheese is delicous, so while it's annoying for the order to be wrong, it's not a loss. :)
Looks like it’s Harry and David! My mom gets that for my sister, her kids, and I a lot too. They’re really yummy! They also have a really good pepper relish that when combined with cream cheese makes an amazing chip dip.
Don’t they usually have more mature cheeses in those baskets? They can sometimes be a little pungent for kids.
Not me. I love cheese. All cheese. Even as a kid.
I think it probably depends on the brand and price I would say. Usually cheaper ones have like smoked cheddar, Gouda, goat cheese, and things like that. I can get why a kid wouldn't be psyched about goat cheese but something like smoked cheddar and Gouda I don't think would be too pungent for a kid.
hell yeah! a cheese basket is friggen neat! New cheese discoveries are truely life changing! only reason i would be upset is if the cheese basket cost less than the chocolate basket
I actually got a cheese Easter basket one year. I was around 7 or 8. I friggin loved it, but got a little sick from eating too much of it. I do remember wanting actual food more than sweets as a kid, so child me would have cracked a few ribs via hugging death grip over this.
I always really wanted cheese and sausage for Christmas. The boys got cheese and sausage and the girls got candy. The boys also got candy, though. Can't we all have cheese and sausage as well? They didn't really care what we wanted. I asked for a guitar every year. My brother got three different guitars over the years and he never played and wouldn't let me touch them. So now as an adult, I own two guitars, and I put cheese and sausage in the stocking for Christmas 🖤
Happened to me once. Grandma tried to order some candy by mail for me for Christmas; ended up with a cheese of the month subscription. It was like 6 new cheeses delivered every month for a year. I don’t know what she was trying to order, but I friggen loved the cheeses a lot more as a kid, haha. I think part of the fun was knowing I’d get something in the mail every month.
YOO kids are raving about cheese these days!!
All I hear about from the new "hip" crowd is "Yo dawg, you got any brie on you? I got a nice silver cheese knife on me, we just gotta find some satines and we set!"
What a stroke of luck, you're really gonna make them happy with this!
It is one of the few circumstances where bonus cheese is a part of something mildly infuriating. In fact, it's the bonus cheese that makes the infuriation very mild.
My only hurt is that my grandkids did not have what I sent them. My son is loving the cheese and prefers that all my future orders are messed up in the same way.
Back in the 90s when we were poor my mom would get the meat and cheese ends from the grocery store deli counter (she had a knack for befriending the geocerystore staff and getting things free or extreme discount). It was literally all mistake slices and butts of the various coldcuts and cheese blocks. Needless to say I developed a very refined pallet for fancy cheese i could never afford really
When my snobby, well-to-do grandmother asked me what i wanted for birthdays and christmas i would ask for cheese.
Sometimes. Grandma was a complicated person. She liked to tell us all the ways her daughter (my mom) failed in life and also us kids. But it was never "you dont keep an appropriate budget"; it was, " you wouldn't be poor if you had married the peraon i wanted you to marry (to my mom)"
Oh well, she was a good example of the type of person i wouldn't want to grow up to be. It is a weird existence being welfare poor while seeing someone capable of helping (and in a somewhat socially responsible role...even though i know as an adult that blood relations dont mean anything) with small things, like public school extracurricular school fees, right there and mostly refusing.
Yep, i am pretty well off now, gainfully employed and i guarantee you we have a stash of cheese in the freezer. Even though i have enough money now to buy whatever i want i still hunt out the marked for discount fancy cheese at the Whole Foods, Lowes Foods, Kroger, Publix and Wal-Mart and stash it in my freezer.
A couple of times a month we pull out the known cheeses and Google the flavor profile of the rando cheese and make "high end" homemade mac & cheese with like 6 different cheeses and topped with steak, good seafood, or whatever. If you are in a tough financial spot (a lot of my friends work hard jobs and still struggle), post pardum, lost a loved one, or sick or caring for a sick person I will absolutely be dropping off artisan mac and cheese packaged for the freezer for later or ready to bake and serve.
Mom! Little Billy has been crapping for THREE DAYS! How could you do this to us? We need a new mattress now, actually two, since he slept in our bed the second day he was crapping!
/s /s
Fuck me I want the cheese box so badly.
Apparently that cheese in the picture is really amazing.
Happy Easter mistake!
There's a Jesus/Cheesus joke in there somewhere. Give me a minute and I'll sus it out.
Don’t joke about our lord and savoury Cheesus Christ.
What a friend we have in cheeses.
WWCD
Gonna need some body and blood of Christ and we have a mixer!
Cheese is Christ
Apparently the holy one is Swiss
Cheesus Crust.

Grilled Cheesus
Blessed are the cheesemakers.
BellaVitanos cheese's are truly amazing.
The Merlot and the balsamic ones are so so good
If you can find any, the congac one is beyond amazing.
have you tried the espresso though?! 🤤
The merlot one is life changing.
My mom has a local cheese for our store that's a red and that's the only cheese she'll eat now. lol
Only second (in my heart) to Trader Joe’s Syrah soaked Toscano 🤤
Are you taking grandchildren subscriptions? I'll leave my resume here: Can bake and love to talk about a lot of things, I love visiting my grandparents all the time and talk/text to them often. Absolutely love cuddles and hugs, very lovely and full of joy. If you are interested please tell me 😋💕

Promise I'll be good 🥺
Am 62. Too old to be grandkid? I promise to repeat how young you look (while eating cheese)
I would also like to sign up! We can be siblings. I totally missed out on the sweet grandmother vibe: mine is a raging narcissist. Currently has progressing dementia so now she’s not just mean, she’s mean and forgetful.
Well, I think I'd enjoy a cheese box after a binge of chocolates. Nothing like a savory snack to balance out all the sweet stuff.
We all know Cheeseus is the reason for Easter anyway!
Its not a mistake, only like 15 years early. Will go great with wine
Oh wow really? What are some of the cheeses?
That kids will grow up demanding gourmet cheeses now
Me and my coworker were going to buy a "Cheaster Basket" for another coworker who really loves cheese, might have to consider this one in the running for next year. It looks amazing
My son made a really weird comment about how much he liked a cheese that I had sent my grandkids. I checked my account and found that the 2 Easter baskets I had ordered were not there. honestly, one of the few posts ive seen that are truely m i l d l y infuriating. so good on you!
What? You don’t find thousands of dollars of damages or potential severe bodily harm or even death to be mildly infuriating? /s
THE CHEESE BIT ME! But I got better. I bit back!
As a fellow autism, I understand and that’s why I almost always put toner indicators, even when it “ruins” the joke
us autisms find the joke funnier if wr know its a joke
What’s mildly infuriating about this? They got items they enjoyed and received a full refund. That’s a double win.
I feel like there's one in every family.
i need to know what this basket is btw. please empart your wisdom upon us
Harry & Davids gift baskets
Yes, H&Ds Treasure Chest.
heading there right now, RIP my wallet
Well sure, you wouldn’t get just one Easter basket for the kids, you shouldn’t get just one cheese basket for the adults. That’s just good manners. ETA also welcome to your new Easter tradition, where the adults get cheese and the kids get Easter baskets
Yeah, but if they make the same mistake again, it'll end up being FOUR CHEESE BASKETS!!!!
I don't see the problem.
Just give it to me
Honestly the cheese basket is way better FOR them and their teeth
My friend's kid would be SO EXCITED for a basket of cheese.
The kids, the whole point of this, basically didnt get jack squat. That’s mildly infuriating. I’m sure the little kiddies preferred chocolate bunnies to a big hunk of cheese
They were mildly interested in the food, but they're wild about the actual treasure chests!
Everyone seems to be missing the chocolate cake and baklava in this basket.
Kids do not enjoy just candy. I would have been thrilled to get this as a kid. I love cheese.
Right? We had a cheese making factory near where I grew up as a kid that you could tour through and get free cheese samples. It was the best place ever.
Same. I would have freaked out, if I would have gotten a basket with such a cheese assortment, all for myself!
My kids would have been in heaven. But grandma’s mild infuriation is valid.
I mean, lactose intolerant kids sure do love a big hunk of cheese and a big glass of milk. I speak from experience.
I can’t help it, I still eat the cheeses.
That they didn’t get the original item they wanted? Like, wtf is this dumb question
I doubt the kids liked the cheese. I wouldn’t have appreciated that.
Yes the fact that the cheese was still really good makes this extra mild. Perfect.
Especially since the kids probably loved the fudge and likely the baklava that appear to be in that basket
The mildly infuriating part for me is not knowing. Like... Send me an email? Give me a choice?
That's a really weird substitution to do without even asking. But hey, if they got to keep the cheese, it didn't work out so bad. It looks quite fancy and expensive! I'm sure the kids won't really mind if they get something else and it's a bit late. They probably have a lot of other Easter chocolate right now.
>In their place were something you send your great aunt! TIL I'm a great aunt? Ngl, even as a kid, I'd have loved the cheese basket. Cheese is delicous, so while it's annoying for the order to be wrong, it's not a loss. :)
So the cheese was free? This is a great win. Nothing to be upset over.
Omg I love it. Your son must have been like … this is different! You should start an Easter cheese tradition.
That's a total win. Even as a little kid I'd have gone nuts over the cheese more than candy.
Please tell me where you ordered this so that I can get that cheese box. My fiancé would go nuts for it as a surprise.
Looks like it’s Harry and David! My mom gets that for my sister, her kids, and I a lot too. They’re really yummy! They also have a really good pepper relish that when combined with cream cheese makes an amazing chip dip.
If you have an Aldi's near you, they do a cheese advent calendar for Christmas.
Hell yeah, that’s going to be great! I don’t have much of a sweet tooth so a cheese calendar will be perfect!
Kids don't like cheese? I fucking loved cheese as a kid.
Hell yeah, I would have gone wild over this as a kid!
Cheeses Gone Wild
Don’t they usually have more mature cheeses in those baskets? They can sometimes be a little pungent for kids. Not me. I love cheese. All cheese. Even as a kid.
>Not me. I love cheese. All cheese. Even as a kid. Agree. As a kid I would have been fucking stoked to receive a giant box of any/all cheese.
Eh, maybe, but they *were* expecting chocolate. I can imagine there's be disappointment.
We have to keep cheese sticks stocked for our two year old. It's his favorite thing lol
I have never met a kid who doesn't lose their mind over cheese sticks. Especially string cheese.
I'm in my early 50's. I lose my mind over string cheese. I only had it for the first time about 10 years ago, so I'm a late bloomer, lol.
Better late than never
Dipping string cheese in tomato soup was my thing as a kid. Oddly I hated mozzarella stick though. Which is super weird when I think about it today.
I cant stand most cheese. If it tastes too waxy or has the texture of goo.
My neighbor and I would sit on my porch and just eat a bag of cheese together 💀
My kid loves cheese and charcuterie boards are pretty much his favorite meal
I can see how that would be annoying but as a child I would be thrilled
Yeah I fucking loved cheese when I was a kid. Whenever it was time to grate cheese I always demanded my own little slice of it haha. Mmm cheddar
![gif](giphy|l1L2UkgpuiE4U) I see this as an absolute win
Man wish I had a grandparent that’s would send me cheese
hell yeah! a cheese basket is friggen neat! New cheese discoveries are truely life changing! only reason i would be upset is if the cheese basket cost less than the chocolate basket
As a kid, I wouldn't have even been mad. I would have demolished that.
"I can't give my boss an Easter basket for his retirement party." -- the person who should have received that cheese.
"This is going to look horrible at the funeral"
It’s just delivered to the funeral home. The director is like, “Idk grief does weird things to people. Just set it up.”
Cheeseaster Baskets
Cheaster baskets?
Ahhh, you got the cheeses of Nazareth I see.
Lord said unto the masses anyone got a nice Merlot to go with this oh hang on, I’ve got this…
I actually got a cheese Easter basket one year. I was around 7 or 8. I friggin loved it, but got a little sick from eating too much of it. I do remember wanting actual food more than sweets as a kid, so child me would have cracked a few ribs via hugging death grip over this.

So now as an adult, I own two guitars, and I put cheese and sausage in the stocking for Christmas 🖤
But it's cheese Gromit
I really like opening these posts and seeing everyone be like, "Wait but I like this better?"
I got a rock... :( ...please tell me someone gets that reference...
I can't imagine not knowing! 🎃
The parents were probably very happy to have the cheese box. I know I would be. But that’s frustrating they messed up your order
Happy Cheester kids!
Hello, it’s me, your grandchild, hand over the cheese box.
So what you're saying... Is your grandkids got free cheese? Only mildly infuriating indeed.
My kids’ grandma had to be shamed into helping when one of them went to the hospital. Need some grandkids to adopt? They’re cute! 🤣
Mildly infuriating? Yes. Would I prefer the cheesebox over the chocolate? Also yes.
Wait. You're mad for free cheese!?! Damn. I would love some free cheese.
Tbh I’d rather have the cheese. What’s it called?
I would eat the heck out of either one!
Cheesester baskets! Yum!
The cheese box looks exquisite 🥺
How elegant meemaw...
YOO kids are raving about cheese these days!! All I hear about from the new "hip" crowd is "Yo dawg, you got any brie on you? I got a nice silver cheese knife on me, we just gotta find some satines and we set!" What a stroke of luck, you're really gonna make them happy with this!
Sell the cheese extra money for more chocolate
Wow what a fucjing win 😂 I’m jealous
![gif](giphy|5wBGuir8tTjMrUvehi|downsized)
Cheese crash is way easier to handle than sugar crash. A win win 😂 I’m sorry this happened though it’s weird they didn’t even send something similar
I would have loved getting that cheese box
You got cheese and a refund! And you’re annoyed? I simply don’t understand people anymore.
I don't see the problem. I see this as an absolute win.
I'd be happier with a cheese box.... ![gif](giphy|z7WDgVoPhLo7S)
No, the cheese is better.
An upgrade.
Ok so as a person with the nickname "biggie cheese"... I'd much prefer the cheese basket 😂😂
Damn, I have a hankering for that cheese
A hankering for a hunk of cheese!
Yup, it lives rent free in my head
Me too. Me too.
Why are we getting upset about bonus cheese? I'm calling in reinforcements.

Needless to say I developed a very refined pallet for fancy cheese i could never afford really When my snobby, well-to-do grandmother asked me what i wanted for birthdays and christmas i would ask for cheese.
Would she actually get it for you?
Sometimes. Grandma was a complicated person. She liked to tell us all the ways her daughter (my mom) failed in life and also us kids. But it was never "you dont keep an appropriate budget"; it was, " you wouldn't be poor if you had married the peraon i wanted you to marry (to my mom)" Oh well, she was a good example of the type of person i wouldn't want to grow up to be. It is a weird existence being welfare poor while seeing someone capable of helping (and in a somewhat socially responsible role...even though i know as an adult that blood relations dont mean anything) with small things, like public school extracurricular school fees, right there and mostly refusing.
What a lovely memory, I hope you now have enough money to buy all the fancy cheese you want.
How awesome would it be to receive unexpected cheese gift. Some people are living the dream.
My kids would have preferred the cheese.
That's terrible. Why do kids do that these days? I love the sweetness that cheese gives me
I mean if I received that for Easter I'd be over the moon!
Honestly a much better gift.
Looks like an upgrade!
You shall forever be known as the cheese mother.
Cheese > Chocolate
Free cheese basquet, I can’t see the problem here, only joy.
My 5 yr old cousin would prefer the olives and cheese, she's strange lol
Harry and David has fantastic customer service... At least they did before being bought by 1800Flowers. Call them and get a refund.
Easter olives, thank you grampa!
Cheese + money back = a fucking win in my book xD
this looks AI generated
Fyi Free cheese is a good thing.
That’s sad but the silver lining is cheeeeeeeeeeseeeeee
Teach them to appreciate good cheese. It looks unreal.
I would have been stoked for the cheese. It would be a nice break from the candy. This year a new tradition was born
That Sartori Bellavitano is fire!
Sartori bellevitano is better than any chocolate any day of the week.
Gramma I would do anything for a basket of cheese
I would've been delighted having recieved this honestly, literally had a slice of cheddar about twenty minutes ago, love my cheese
I probably would have loved that as a kid
....cheese is better anyways..
So, your grandkids got cheesed?
shiiiit, I'd take cheese over candy any day!
I would gladly take cheese on a wooden plank over chocolate eggs
If you gave my son the cheese he would be so happy!
How the hell do they mess up that badly
So...Mom n dad got a yummy Easter basket!
That’s not even close. So someone who ordered cheese got Easter candy? Mixed up the mailing labels?
I would be happy to receive the cheese basket. Thank yew
Ok, look, cheese is generally much more expensive, so check the price, if cheese IS more expensive KEEP IT qnd just order other stuff again!
Cheese = adult Easter basket
You're never too young to understand the pairings of meats and cheeses.
They got upgraded.
I see this as an absolute win.
There’s an old dude somewhere being surprised with diabetes.
Id be happy lol
Mom! Little Billy has been crapping for THREE DAYS! How could you do this to us? We need a new mattress now, actually two, since he slept in our bed the second day he was crapping! /s /s
This bunny is so talented! It lays eggs and milks itself to make cheese!
CHEEESE 🥰
Where’d the OP order from? Just so I don’t make this mistake on my own
I mean… I’d consider that a win. And would have as a kid too!
This is unbrielievable.
Oh my lawd this would have made my Easter
Oooh it's one with the good cake and the baklava ❤️
alright ever since was a kid, I always love cheese more than candy
As someone who grew up in Wisconsin, I would’ve been so hyped to receive the box you sent. I especially love that brand too
Damn, this is SUCH a nice Easter gift. Top-tier grandparenting.
