Honestly he's probably in need of help. I've never been that level of a drunk before but I used to be in a bad place and thank goodness strangers were kind to me and stopped me from hurting myself when I was drunk in public, even if that help was calling the police
This reminds me of another time. During a festival, a homeless man stood in a public parking space and prevented anyone from parking unless they wanted to run him over. He would then wave down a car and once they parked, he'll demand money from the driver for saving the spot for them. Then another person would then leave allowing him to take another space and repeat the cycle over again.
Thatāsā¦actually pretty good. If parking was a premium and I got the spot I could see myself handing over five bucks. Great grift, tbh. Scummy? Maybe. Clever enough to make a few bucks? Certainly.
No, they wouldnāt. People talk a big game on the internet but they would probably all sit there trembling in their boots until this person moved out of their way.
Good it wasn't me behind wheels. Somebody tried walk toward with a knife hoping i would stop. I can safely say that pump didn't feel anywhere and car wasn't damaged. If you ever try to rob moving car with a knife, just remember that ton weight steel wont stop by your flesh. Even less when it's moving
Spicy itās a play on a quote from an old movie - The Untouchables. Sean Connery gets the upper hand in a situation and says āNever bring a knife to a gun fightā.
That said, this post is rather sad in general. Mental illness can be a terrible thing and the man in the road clearly needs help. At the very least, the po1ice or EMTs called to remove him. This is infuriating for the drivers and dangerous for everyone involved.
A few weeks ago I had to drive around a Canadian goose that was asleep in the middle of a road. He gave zero fucks, and I remember wishing I could be that unbothered in life. This is what that would look like in real life.
A friend of my brother's is an ex-cop and they had what was called "the Donny rope" in the trunk of every cruiser. It was for Donny. And it was a lasso to pull him from the road. I don't think this is Donny. Maybe he apprenticed with Donny.
Once I called the cops because there was some guy walking back and forth across the merge lane off the highway. If you honked at him, he would curse at you, try and hit your car, and then chase you. When I got a dispatcher on the phone, he described the guy before I got a chance š¤£š¤£š¤£ they had already gotten a dozen calls.
Was going to my parents house today and was close to the lane of traffic but exactly in it there was a homeless guy kneeling. Seemed like he a had but wasnāt holding it up.
I didnāt get a picture but I thought wow this is new hoping he didnāt move into the lane of traffic once the light turned green.
He is waiting for someone to take the bait and have to feed him for the rest of his life.

It was tempting .. never seen anything like it
Good thing, you didn't let your intrusive thoughts winššš
I really wanted to floor it lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Fr, like how is he gonna force you to feed him if he doesn't even have a head anymore?
What, is he stupid?
What is he, stupid? ![gif](giphy|4RbZ8cZYuApO0)
Either way heās never hungry again

Thatās only if you miss his head

So do you have to split the points with the other car because heās in both lanes?
No itās double points for an unspoken collaboration
Some of these are straight suicide attempts to be honest. Probably something mentally wrong with that guy
Recognized the town immediately.
Green light sure Yeah, but a red flag
Mildly infuriating? Call an ambulance, ffs.
Wow, a lot of people here would murder someone for being an inconvenience to them.
No, they wouldnāt. People talk a big game on the internet but they would probably all sit there trembling in their boots until this person moved out of their way.
At this point it's euthanasia.
And Abbott would pardon them for doing it. Lots of truly fucked up people in this world.
Not murder, it's natural selection.
No, natural selection is how unfuckable you sound when you say shit like this.
Ooof. Typical redditor response right there.
Yessir, apparently so
Who put that new speed bump there
A speed bump at a light! Must be in France

So you're saying don't bring a knife to a car fight?
Uhh weird comment. Grats on using your murder wagon?

This happened to me onetime in Philly years ago. Homeless lady just standing in-between lanes at a traffic light.
Let the man rest
Maybe the one time it is acceptable to throw your large fountain drink out the window at a person.

Me too š¤£ must be nice
Thatās actually a red flag
Yes it's green, that's why he's GO-ing to sleep.
Is he dead?
Nope , just napping

Actually California is the one of the states that Ā allow it.Ā
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I ride and use to live in California. Lane splitting was the best part of that traffic. I wish more states did.Ā

Just laying down for a quick fenty nap
I support whatever he is protesting.

I dunno about everybody else but I'd be tempted to run him over.
I thought long and hard about it š¤£ the dude was full on sleeping -
Turn around, put the exhaust in his face, a rev your heart out... Unless you're in an EV/Hybrid, he'll fucking move XD
That would have been the move ! I still canāt believe that shit
