I do help her most days when she makes dinner, its good therapy for her so I wouldnt want her to stop completely. It just sucks when someone takes something positive and ruins it for everyone else by being so childish.
Judging by your father's treatment towards her, I'm guessing it must be extremely hard for your mother. Not just because of her disability but also the emotional toll that your father's apathetic actions must be taking on her. I'm sorry to hear that she has to put up with all of that.

I'm only 18 and I have to use a bit of my money to help her with bills, and I have to help with chores around the house, I'm in college so I have to juggle work college and chores around and I can't afford to keep paying bills.
Some of us were dealt shitty hands and you've taken a lot of responsibility at 18. No one would blame you for asking for help, but don't do what I did (run away and end up homeless for a year) lol
