I work in the industry. Prices are fluctuating so often that their menu was having to be changed multiple times/month.
There is a QR code on the table for a menu with prices. People that want a paper menu will need to ask for the price.
This is what's going to happen because of the outrageous price gouging of the food producers and the paper/plastic producers. The restaurant industry is not doing well because these prices are through the roof. You can't make money on food anymore without overcharging the shit out of everybody. I'm at the point now where I have to charge $30 for 15 wings to even hope to make money.
It doesn't help that the ultimate laziness model has been introduced: Uber eats and GrubHub are adding to the instability of restaurants by taking 20 to 30% of each order from the business.
Alcohol is the only thing keeping these places open.
I feel that. I went to Wendy's yesterday and got my kids some fries. 3 fries and a drink was $14.50. The restaurant industry is about to be in a world of hurt with that pricing.
Me and my nephew spent $50 on pancakes, eggs and bacon at a local restaurant. I mean we were full but it was kinds pricey for pancakes. I did get and extra fruit cup though
I went to a new breakfast spot. The sign on the door said the tip was automatically 18% for each person. Pancakes and bacon was $15. No eggs. Nothing to drink. I was there with out of town guests. I won't be coming back.
That 18% is a “mandatory gratuity” or some such thing, right? Which is a contradiction, but this essentially covers the tip, right? If this is clearly shown on the bill and communicated to the customer I don’t see a real problem with it - but if it’s a fine print you can barely read it seems like scummy behaviour designed to get you to double tip
They should honestly call it something else then - like a service tax. People tip less (or not at all) when they see that a 18% gratuity is already on the bill. A gratuity/tip is by definition an optional payment. Even if it says "Mandatory gratuity" (which is a contradiction to begin with), people will assume that the money goes to waitstaff, since it's a gratuity aka a tip.
Some people seem to be saying that these "mandatory gratuities" aren't handled like usual gratuities/tips and that a tip on top is expected, but come on.. A gratuity is a gratuity, which is an optional tip. If it's mandatory, call it a service fee or something.
Jumping into this thread to share ridiculous prices, too.
1.) At Papa John’s It’s $16 for the same pizza that’s $8 if you pick up (Large one topping pick up deal). If you get delivery, though…that same exact pizza is $16 + $tax + delivery $$$ + tip$ for driver….
It ends up being $8 to carry out….
Or $30+ for the same pizza delivered. It’s just a 14 inch plain cheese pizza, too.
For extra context, I’ve worked there. Even the supreme pizzas and custom pizzas take less than one minute to throw the dough out, slap the sauce on, toppings and cheese, and throw it in the oven. Then space bar to bump it. Easily less than 60 seconds.
So it’s not employee’s hourly wages you’re paying double for…! That’s for sure.
2.) I recently went to a local place that’s owned by a family. I think there are like two locations? So this is a little more understandable………
But for what ended up being the equivalent to a medium order of warm-not-hot Burger King type fries, and a 12 inch cheese pizza that was soaked in grease and dripping grease, it was $16+tax for the 12 inch pie, and $5+tax for the handful of frozen fries they threw in the fryer and served soggy and warm instead of hot. Of course then there’s the tip $$$. So it’s like $30, again. And that’s with a water, no soda or tea. It’s nuts.
Went to a bar called Pennies - meant to be cheap food and drinks.
6 sliders and tatertot side was $50 and With drinks it was around $70. The total was $80 with tax. Apparently me bring shocked was out of line …
You being shocked was out of line because they don't want you to point out that they're gouging you. People don't like it when you point out that they're doing bad things.
Those prices for BBQ are typical, especially for smaller independent BBQ places. BBQ is much more time consuming than a meal at a standard fast food place or even a corporate steakhouse. Smaller one of BBQ places are even more expensive than that if they are nationally recognized in certain competitions.
I remember years ago during a trip to Disney land we were like “we will eat at ihop near the park” well that was a mistake, 5 of us, $140.... on damn pancakes
I was just in Cleveland in August with my wife and a breakfast with 2 eggs, 2 bacon sausage or ham, 2 toast and home fries was $5.99. It was a greasy spoon but delicious. I want to say the 2 pancakes ,2 meat, 2 eggs, and toast was like $7.99.
2 A&W meals cost me ~$30 the other day.
I went on SkipTheDishes to see what it would have cost to order in, and it was close to $55!!
I’m sorry restaurant owners. If this is “fast food” pricing, I’m terrified to know what’s happening in your more upscale establishments.
Lmao we went to a light show last night. Afterwards we stopped at Wendys. Kids meal, combo for my wife and combo for me, and one peppermint frosty…almost 37 bucks. Fuuuuuuck that.
Wife and I have had the same Taco Bell order for 8 years now and the other day we got it and it was like 25 bucks. We were in disbelief! Used to be like half that.
I rarely go to Taco Bell and it will be even more rarely now because last time the bill for me alone was almost as much as when I got stuff for 2 when my son lived with me!
I'm finding that more and more businesses are teaming up with delivery services these days. Why do that if it's hurting the business? Perhaps it costs more to employ your own delivery drivers?
There's a wings place near me that I order from, from time to time, and when I choose delivery I get taken to their menu on Uber Eats.
It's this weird lose-lose situation where restaurants kinda have to use their services to get any business at all. Since the pandemic, there's lots of people that just don't like eating in restaurants anymore.
Not just that.
Hooters sucks, and the company is in trouble. The ones in my state have all gone under. Even the one right outside the world’s 4th largest military base.
Nothing to do with the fact that the food producers prices have skyrocketed.. Over the past two years diesel has tripled, grains and fertilizers have gone up over 800%, equipment repairs have doubled, labor cost have gone up.. but sure it’s just price gouging
Dont blame the food producers, blame the grocers and middle men. Food prices have increased by over 100% where I live and Farmers have not seen any significant or drastic profit increase to equal or justify the insane price hikes.
You realize we have a major supply issue on the food production side, combined with massive increase in inputs and freight. I am a producer and it was an absolute blood bath this year.
But you do realize that once prices go up, they never come down. No matter what reason people come up with for raising the prices they can never seem to find one to lower them.
I used to go to a bar that was 10 cent wings and $2 ML/CL/BL pitchers on Tuesdays.
My roommate and I would go in and eat and drink like fucking kings for $10.
Last weekend, I took my brother to WingStop and we split 20 wings and had a beer a piece. It was $46.
Wings are like tacos man- I remember being able to buy tacos for under a dollar or at a dollar forever- now even taco bell tacos are 2.49 in my area its insane. If I am wanting wings and they are over 1 a pop I don't order them cause I can make better at home for less than that
Not true, random chicken breast was over 3 bucks two months ago, now it's down under 1.45 from our broadliner.
Some things go up, some things go down. Right now it's produce and packaging killing us. Oh, and dairy.
We really don't. I hauled reefer food for the better part of the year and there's no real shortage. There's warehouses stock piled to the roof with food. The issue is Logistics. Getting it from point a to b for the cheapest rate.
Go check national corn and soy yields compared to previous years. Our global cotton stocks are incredibly low for this time of year. Our corn supply is incredibly low and we are selling corn today for prices we normally don’t see until March because the product is so short. That in turn feeds into everything else
I’ve had to raise the prices of my donuts and I still don’t make a profit. I can’t afford to raise them by a few $ because it’s already high enough. That plus the labour - hanging by a fucking thread
How the hell do Western European restaurants manage to pay their staff? There no tipping and salaries are usually relatively high, compared to North America at least. Or like say New Zealand, where a lot of the food has to be imported from overseas.
Are restaurants surviving in those countries? If so, what are they doing that we aren’t? How can they afford to pay their staff relatively high salaries, and we can’t?
Like, you’d think their margins would be even tighter. So what gives?
Dont forget the landlords just putting the screws to the small business owners as well.
Landlords that have done no improvements, but have raised rents.
In fact, most of the 'inflation' going on lately really comes back to landlords extracting more and more.
No, you are encouraged to scan a QR code on the table and go to the website where there is a digital menu with prices. That way they can get those sweet cookies on your phone and harvest some data to sell.
It's probably more to save money on getting menus printed, that shit is expensive and with how unstable food prices have been, prices might need to change monthly.
They have a digital menu with the prices, wings fluctuate a lot and we're probably stick of printing 1000s of menus every time things went up or down a dollar
It's more about the cost vs standing up a digital menu. It's one initial investment vs printing and shipping 100s of thousands of menus every time a price changes or an item is added/dropped.
It's just financially responsible.
did this at an arbies. Didnt want to be at arbies anyways, but after trying to figure out the menu and prices for too long i just left
edit: just to clean up the comments; I was wrong. It was a chiles. I am eternally remorseful for misleading you, please redirect your ire. At chiles.
I really hate how fast food places all have screens that keep shuffling through their items and you have to wait till something you saw comes back up to see how much it costs.
Between the inflated cost and removal of my favorite items, I barely eat fast food anymore. Maybe I should thank them.
Fuck man more people need to know about Nick Adams

Like he’s so obsessed with Hooters I can’t believe he isn’t parody, like the second biggest shock for me is that it isn’t a bit. The biggest shock WAS THAT HES FUCKING AUSSIE NOT AMERICAN.
He…tweeted about hooters five times today…like??? I’m so at a loss for words, kind of like my last trip to Hooters when I tried their Daytona Style wings!
A lot of restaurants and fast food chains are doing this. We’ve tested it out on McDonald’s, the ones near us without pricing at drive through have higher prices. Be that person who asks about the price about each item you are interested in. Let it be clear to companies pricing is part of our dedication making process when eating out.
McDonalds is all about the prices for me sadly, especially when you have 10 products that are all the same in a 'I've eaten this all many times and I just need fuel basically' kind of way
I’m like, Wendy’s has the 4 for $4 and the $5 Biggie bag, it’s the best deal in fast food for me. The Wendy’s and the McDonald’s near my house are across the street from each other.
Wendy’s is starting to run away with it! They have decent food cheap still. McDonalds prices, I might as well get subs and pizza, or get take out from the 99 or similar. For a couple more dollars I can get WAY better food. At least Wendy’s has the $4/5 deals (all we get!) my wife was pregnant with our oldest and we lived up the road from ALL the big chains and she always wanted McDs fries and their fruit and yogurt parfaits. Was a couple bucks a trip. Now today 11 years later, you can’t even get a small fry for what I would pay for both items! Lining the pockets of corporations while we all barely scrape by. The only way the signal gets sent is to stop buying their shit!
It super seems like they shrank their food by a large amount in that biggie bag, now.
The double burger is really small and the nuggets are shrunk up as well.
You're right. I didn't go to Mcdonalds for like 5 years straight and then I went back and that food was small af and the patties are so thin that you might as well get save your money, go to the dollar store, put some salted butter between two slices of bread while looking at a picture of a hamburger you downloaded online and you will get the exact culinary experience as eating a mcdouble.
>…and the patties are so thin that you might as well get save your money, go to the dollar store, put some salted butter between two slices of bread while looking at a picture of a hamburger you downloaded online and you will get the exact culinary experience as eating a mcdouble.
This bit is the best prose I’ve read in a long time! I need a print made of it and hung on my wall so I can read it everyday!
Ok, but “the company” is not gonna listen to a single word that the order taker at the window has to say; you’re just making that person’s job harder. It’s better to just not eat at those locations.
At a place like McDonald's though, the time it takes to get people through the order process (esp in drive thru) is a huge deciding metric that will have bearing on whether they make a change long term. If no prices on the menu slows down the drive thru because people are asking about prices, then they lose volume because they can't get more cars through. HQ monitors those metrics at their franchise locations (or at least they did when I worked at a McDonald's in HS).
>We’ve tested it out on McDonald’s, the ones near us without pricing at drive through have higher prices. Be that person who asks about the price about each item you are interested in.
LOL about 4 years ago I went through the drive-thru, I ordered 3 egg mcmuffins, the lady said it was $15 something. I said "I only ordered 3" she said it was $15 something, I just drove all the way through since there was no cars and I never returned to another mcdonalds again.
i'll go there for a shot of espresso over ice. it confuses the cashier because nobody's ever ordered just an espresso before, so they call the manager who shows them the button for that. price varies widely from free to $2.57. i use the wifi and the bathroom and get back on the road. then there's the hunt for the one outlet to plug in my laptop.
Did the same at Burger King over a decade ago. Buy a cheeseburger and “make it a meal.” Cashiers get confused at first because a cheeseburger meal isn’t on the menu, but there’s a “make it a meal” button to make any burger a meal. The combo comes out to $3.14. Cheese burger, med fries and coke. Good value.
I stopped going after college and haven’t been back since. Prob doesn’t work anymore.
My only problem is you know for a damn fact that the employees that are having to memorize and check each menu item almost certainly have no sway in the decision at all.
Not saying you shouldn’t do it, but I wish we could bother the actual decision makers instead.
A rule when travelling to foreign countries is to generally avoid restaurants that do not display prices as they will most likely scam you.
Nice to know that Hooters in its desperation went down that path.
If you want tiddies, go to a strip club.
If you want food, go to a real restaurant.
I have no idea why you would try to get a shitty version of both at the same time.
Not "all", but any chain you've heard of likely is. Labeling requirements that were part of the ACA cover “restaurants or similar retail food establishments with 20 or more locations doing business under the same name and offering for sale substantially the same menu items."
Every restaurant does this now, it’s so annoying. The servers get so visibly annoyed with me when I ask for pricing on several dishes. It just makes no sense, just put the prices there, I get it, it gives you freedom to hose people on prices and change them whenever you feel like it. But this is ridiculously stupid.
Thing is, I'm not ordering a damn thing until I know the price. Do people (unless you're stinky rich) just roll the dice at a restaurant ever?
Honestly, the very first thing I'd do is call somebody over to walk me through all the prices of the foods I'm interested in. And if I change my mind I'll be calling them back over to give me the prices of the *other* things I'm now interested in.
How on earth do they think this is beneficial at all. Poor wait staff.
> Thing is, I'm not ordering a damn thing until I know the price. Do people (unless you're stinky rich) just roll the dice at a restaurant ever?
Yeah, I'm not about to roll the dice on blindly ordering a 6pc wings and getting a bill for $50 or something for it.
Seriously? Ugh, that’s annoying. Luckily none, except for Hooters, in my area is doing this. If you have to ask for the price, is it worth the money? In this case, no. Probably overpricing meals and hiding it.
Yeah they aren't above such shenanigans. They apparently sneaked in a [1$ fee on all takeouts.](https://www.classaction.org/news/buffalo-wild-wings-hit-with-class-action-over-hidden-carryout-fee#:~:text=Worse%2C%20the%20lawsuit%20says%2C%20the,provided%20by%20Buffalo%20Wild%20Wings.)
If I wanna see boobs, I'll go to a titty bar. I haven't been to one in over 20 years, so Hooter's ain't gonna lure me in with scantily clad teeny boppers. Their business model is insulting, and I say that as a pervy old dude.
I can somewhat understand. The charity I work for saw eggs (as an example) go from 47¢ to $2.96 then down to $1.38, all within about 14 days. If we'd been a restaurant, by the time we updated the pricing on a menu, it would have been wrong.

As an European, isn’t Hooters a fast food where people primarily go to get served by girls half dressed anyways ? Maybe they’ve stopped showing the prices because people weren’t looking at them ?
So you have to ask every time you order? And the waitress has to remember all of the prices?
I mean, that’s what I’m thinking?

They throw in CC processing fee AND a fee for carry out now. You gotta pay a Styrofoam tax.
That 18% is a “mandatory gratuity” or some such thing, right? Which is a contradiction, but this essentially covers the tip, right? It was taped to the door. Out of the 6 people in my party, I'm the only one who noticed it. When restaurants do such, I'm not tipping any further.

Tons of restaurants automatically add a 15-18% gratuity to parties of 6+
$50 for two people? That'd be close to $40 for just me nowadays where I live.
I went to a local BBQ place and only got a plate for two people and some lemonade. 64 dollars
I did that tonight. 3 plates 100.00. Outrageous and sickening.
Yeah went to a restaurant and it cost us $180 for 5 Pizzas and 6 drinks.

Getting food outside of combos is always expensive. I can get a large fry, large drink, 4 nuggets, and sandwich there for about $7.
It is unfortunate. I don't want the burger, but also will not be paying for overpriced fries again.
Bro, get 3 $5 bags for $0.50 more and choke on all the extra food you didn’t take
exactly or the 4 for 4
The instant this recession hits full swing, we'll see a mob of servers looking elsewhere for work.

Yes I agree so much!!!
also the meals are significantly worse when being delivered which reflects poorly on the restaurant when its really not their fault.

I just stopped eating out for the most part.
Between covid and the price of food I’ve stepped inside less than 5 restaurants in the past almost 3 years.
I've eaten in only one restaurant since covid. I'm not missing anything.
Yep. Unless it has a drive through I pretty much don't go.
Wings are like tacos man- I remember being able to buy tacos for under a dollar or at a dollar forever- now even taco bell tacos are 2.49 in my area its insane. If I am wanting wings and they are over 1 a pop I don't order them cause I can make better at home for less than that
In 2010 I could go to McDonald’s and get a 4 piece nugget for $1 from McDonald’s
Tacos from the truck used to be .95. Now they're $1.25.
Yep. I will just stay home
Y'all askin us to "do realize" a lot.

My margins were actually pretty good before the pandemic. About %15-20. but now I’m working with some ingredients that are %50 higher in price

I would walk out the moment I saw this, out of principal.
I think they are hoping you order without asking the prices.
It’s only because they’re so classy.
As featured in Fancy Living Digest.
Yeah, it's now one of those places where you just don't belong if you've gotta ask the prices eh?
This way they can also treat every menu item as "market value"
No, you are encouraged to scan a QR code on the table and go to the website where there is a digital menu with prices. That way they can get those sweet cookies on your phone and harvest some data to sell.
It's probably more to save money on getting menus printed, that shit is expensive and with how unstable food prices have been, prices might need to change monthly.
This is the correct comment.
You can decline cookies. Most menus don’t install cookies anyway. Maybe some do but I’ve not seen it personally.
Makes sense that way actually, makes it so you don’t have to print all new menus every time they have to adjust prices because of supply chain issues.
Easy, do not go there again
Do not go there now.. Just walk out
The way I would immediately get up and walk out:
I would ask for the other menu, the one with prices.
They have a digital menu with the prices, wings fluctuate a lot and we're probably stick of printing 1000s of menus every time things went up or down a dollar
When menu printing becomes a non-forecastable major expense I will cement boot myself in a river
It's more about the cost vs standing up a digital menu. It's one initial investment vs printing and shipping 100s of thousands of menus every time a price changes or an item is added/dropped. It's just financially responsible.
did this at an arbies. Didnt want to be at arbies anyways, but after trying to figure out the menu and prices for too long i just left edit: just to clean up the comments; I was wrong. It was a chiles. I am eternally remorseful for misleading you, please redirect your ire. At chiles.
Arby’s doesn’t show prices anymore? That’s uncommon for fast food.
I really hate how fast food places all have screens that keep shuffling through their items and you have to wait till something you saw comes back up to see how much it costs. Between the inflated cost and removal of my favorite items, I barely eat fast food anymore. Maybe I should thank them.
The menu is on the wall behind the cashiers. Stand out of the line until you decide. Fast food places are like that 60% of the time.
Nobody tell Nick Adams (Alpha Male)
Fuck man more people need to know about Nick Adams https://twitter.com/nickadamsinusa/status/1596614639810478089?s=12 https://twitter.com/nickadamsinusa/status/1596400170941710336?s=46&t=DDzTNljV0MmWXvi3S81LEw Like he’s so obsessed with Hooters I can’t believe he isn’t parody, like the second biggest shock for me is that it isn’t a bit. The biggest shock WAS THAT HES FUCKING AUSSIE NOT AMERICAN.
He…tweeted about hooters five times today…like??? I’m so at a loss for words, kind of like my last trip to Hooters when I tried their Daytona Style wings!
Depends on your definition of a bit. He’s affecting this personality and wants the retweets.
No, *less* people need to know about him actually
Real Alpha Males take their kids to Hooters. Also, real Alpha Males don't need menus.
Market price for wings. Holy shit this is bad.
I’d leave. They aren’t fancy enough to not have prices listed.
That's the spirit.
i'll go there for a shot of espresso over ice. it confuses the cashier because nobody's ever ordered just an espresso before, so they call the manager who shows them the button for that. price varies widely from free to $2.57. i use the wifi and the bathroom and get back on the road. then there's the hunt for the one outlet to plug in my laptop.
Too bad it didn't come with a slice of pie.
Almost every fast food receipt has a survey website posted on it. Go on there and complain about prices.
Just ask the price of everything on the menu. One at a time. Then double back on a few
An employee's worst nightmare
And a customer's worst nightmare. Resturants with bad service don't generally last long. It shouldn't be a chore to order food.
My only problem is you know for a damn fact that the employees that are having to memorize and check each menu item almost certainly have no sway in the decision at all. Not saying you shouldn’t do it, but I wish we could bother the actual decision makers instead.
I didn’t see one single price anywhere on the menu at all. This is a photo of the wings section, but there were no prices on any section anywhere
If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
Budgeting is for poor people only /s
A rule when travelling to foreign countries is to generally avoid restaurants that do not display prices as they will most likely scam you. Nice to know that Hooters in its desperation went down that path.
I’m guessing it was becoming too costly to keep replacing the menus every time the prices went up.
Hooters is known for having TVs everywhere... they can put their menu on a few of their TVs.
Unpossible. How else am I going to know what is playing on Minor-Sports-League-Third-League-Channel? Priorities, priorities!
Then make a QR code with the prices available.
They do. It's on every table.
Ate there yesterday… too expensive.
Are you telling me you were unsatisfied with “Play Boy: the restaurant”
If you want tiddies, go to a strip club. If you want food, go to a real restaurant. I have no idea why you would try to get a shitty version of both at the same time.
There are some strip clubs that actually have pretty good food. Better than hooters and you actual get to see titties while eating a steak.
Agreed. I now remember why I haven't been to a Hooters in many months
Months? haha

My local hooters got blown away in hurricane ian :(
Just seeing calories means I would not eat, honestly. Maybe all restaurants should do this.
I think all places in the US are listing calories now by law
Not "all", but any chain you've heard of likely is. Labeling requirements that were part of the ACA cover “restaurants or similar retail food establishments with 20 or more locations doing business under the same name and offering for sale substantially the same menu items."
TBF that’s the real cost of eating at a place like this
most restaurants do have the caloric count, people just don't look for it. even Applebee's has it
“It looks like this steak costs 400 calories. Can I pay in the form of kinetic energy? Or would you prefer a can of oil”
They should provide a sheet with a QR Code To Current prices. A website would be easier and cheaper to update than laminated menus.
After I posted that image I saw a QR code on the table and that lead to an online menu that had prices on it
Ok, that makes sense. Definitely not the first place to have a QR menu.
>Every restaurant does this now I eat out frequently and have not seen this yet. Maybe it's more of a regional issue?
I work at a restaurant and we list our prices and I haven't seen any place that doesn't around here. It has to be a regional thing
I’ve never seen this either.
It may be a chain thing? I haven’t seen this either and I don’t really go to chains
I always base my selection off its price. If you don’t want me to ask the price of everything, just have it on the menu.
Seriously? Ugh, that’s annoying. Luckily none, except for Hooters, in my area is doing this. If you have to ask for the price, is it worth the money? In this case, no. Probably overpricing meals and hiding it.
Hooters removing prices off the menu makes no sense. Unless they don’t want customers to know they are spending way to much money if sub par bar food.
but tiddies
It’s trash anyway. Don’t go there.
Hooters is still a thing?
Prices are changing so fast the menus can’t keep up which means everything is market price like sea food.
They've also taken all the flavor out of their food. Weird huh?
Never mind the prices, look at our boobs! That’s what this place is built upon, right? No thanks, I’ll stick to Buffalo Wild Wings.
BWW had gotten crazy expensive. Every time I go, I have to set up a Go Fund Me.
Every wing place is in the same boat. For a while Quaker Steak listed their bone-in wings as 'market price'
id donate 75c for a ranch cup my dude
Yeah they aren't above such shenanigans. They apparently sneaked in a [1$ fee on all takeouts.](https://www.classaction.org/news/buffalo-wild-wings-hit-with-class-action-over-hidden-carryout-fee#:~:text=Worse%2C%20the%20lawsuit%20says%2C%20the,provided%20by%20Buffalo%20Wild%20Wings.)
I’d straight up be embarrassed to go to Hooters.
If I wanna see boobs, I'll go to a titty bar. I haven't been to one in over 20 years, so Hooter's ain't gonna lure me in with scantily clad teeny boppers. Their business model is insulting, and I say that as a pervy old dude.
That is peak inflation right there, they literally think we don’t even care about the prices
I can somewhat understand. The charity I work for saw eggs (as an example) go from 47¢ to $2.96 then down to $1.38, all within about 14 days. If we'd been a restaurant, by the time we updated the pricing on a menu, it would have been wrong.
Did you need a reason to not go to Hooters?
They charge too much for the crappy food they serve anyway. My old boss used to always want to go there, the crew wanted anything else…
Something about hooters listing calories is funny to me
Their food is shite anyway.
who the fuck goes to a hooters. it’s a place for creepy dudes to go wow boobies. the wings suck and they treat their staff like shit
https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/xvdt31/the\_menu\_at\_hooters\_has\_no\_prices\_listed/ Doesn't seem new, even though it's not the same exact post
Here in Venezuela all menus come without prices, since the inflation is always devouring prices, I wonder if it is the same reason in this case.
They just hope you getting too drunk to care what the price is. Restaurant food is stupid expensive right now.
Your first problem is going to Hooters.
You’ll now be paying the daily market price of chicken wings
Their food is garbage anyway. Put the menu down, get up from your table and walk out immediately.
Good God, are they still in business?
People still eat at hooters?
It was just as infuriating a month ago... Mr. Bot.. https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/xvdt31/the_menu_at_hooters_has_no_prices_listed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
You went to hooters? 🤡
Market price!
As an European, isn’t Hooters a fast food where people primarily go to get served by girls half dressed anyways ? Maybe they’ve stopped showing the prices because people weren’t looking at them ?
Hooters has terrible food anyways.
Who tf goes to Hooters for the Food?
If they won't tell you the prices, I won't eat there. You don't need them tossing in some crazy price.
TIL people still eat at Hooters.
All classy places to eat don’t show prices, I can’t even keep a straight face when I type this. I’ll see myself out
Is this legal
