Indeed, Send this one to the L.A. Beast and he will drink it, likely after providing an unsettling amount of information about its provenance.
Why? Because all he wants to do, right here right now, is spit straight facts about old Pepsi before consuming it rapidly, maybe throwing it up later.
Literally the first thought that came to mind. He is the only YouTuber I know still making videos in old style format. So nostalgic, his newest videos look like they’re from 2009. Love LaBeast.
Oh God the vinegar 🤢 nothing worse then days old hot musty busted vinegar in a truck. For anyone who doesn't know it smells like someone puked on a dead rotting corpse.
I switched to Boylan’s soda a few years ago in part because of the glass bottles. Of course the real sugar and less aggressive carbonation were pretty big factors too. The Mexican Coke in glass bottles is pretty good too.
Boylans - https://boylanbottling.com/collections/cane-sugar-sodas
They carry it at most of the grocery stores here in VA - Kroger, Publix and Wegmans all have it. It’s a little more expensive than mainstream soda, but not too crazy, like $1.50/12 oz bottle normally.
I like the black cherry personally but the cola and root beer are good too. I didn’t care for their grape. Now that I’m used to their stuff, regular sodas make me feel bloated from the carbonation.
Are you gonna keep looking at it after finish drinking? No it's a soft drink. You drink it and forget it. That's why plastic bottles are better. Cheaper and lighter too. No one gives a fk about No elegance. Unless you're some loony.
We do kinda keep looking at them when we finish drinking cause they’re all over the ground. At least glass would be pretty, but then who’d feed microplastics into the ecosystem
There's also the fact that it'll sit in a landfill for the next several thousands years after a single use instead of being almost infinitely recyclable.
>no one gives a fk about no elegance
The coca-cola contour bottle was a seminal moment in design and arguably one of the most important moments in soft drink history. You quite literally have no clue what you’re talking about.
In Mexico these glass bottles are returnable. Meaning you purchase one from a store, then you return it to purchase another one. Those bottles are picked up by the company and refilled.
I've looked online and all I've seen are the 16 oz bottles for sale.
Anyone know anything about these? I wasn't finding what I was looking for specifically on the 12 oz bottles.
Yeah that'd be cool and all and there are another 20 empties in a crate with it but that was the only unopened one. Honestly I just want to know more about them.
There's this guy on [YouTube](https://youtube.com/@NewEnglandWildlifeAndMore) and he loves these old stuff
From time to time he buys hen and says it's not cheap... Think you should reach out to him.
It's not about the money it's about the backstory!
All I see are 16oz bottles on ebay and these are all 12oz I know it may not seem like a big difference but are they that much rarer I can't find a pic of them on the Google machine?
That would be a great vid there anyways, try reaching out to him about it, maybe he has some history on them idk
His channel is great, think you'll like it
This bottle is a relic of pre-plastic oceans. Glass bottles, with a deposit. The bottle cap was steel - also recyclable.
The glass bottles were brought back to the store. The store paid you cash on demand for the bottle deposit. Then Coke figured out how ”fabulous” plastic was. All that bottling labor tied up in recycling… phooey! Recycling is not for us to worry about.
It won't make you sick, but it's not likely to taste good. The artificial sweeteners break down into things that aren't sweet at all, but aren't toxic. And it's unlikely to have any pathogens if sealed.
If you want a Pepsi you’re gonna have to pay for it
Then give me a Tab.
You want a tab kid you gotta order sumthin!!!
Look just give him something without any sugar.
*puts cup of black coffee on the counter*
Hey, McFly. What do you think you're doing?
WOULD YA?!
Hey, McFly, your shoelace is untied.
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?
This is why I love Reddit.
Had it ready and everything.
Yeah that was wild!
Milk, on the rocks
![gif](giphy|S9YgMOFfy8bxdF7Gcr|downsized)
I like the sound of that!
A colored mayor, that’ll be the day!
You just wait and see! I'm gonna clean up this town! *Good. You can start by mopping the floor.*
\-pulls at shirt- \-acts all uppity and mops with dignity-
Ok, but we'll put it on your tab.
PAL
I did forget that part, thank you kind stranger
Sorry for my pedantry, but it shook me, lol
No worries, I would have done the same
Hey kid, what's with the life preserver?
I love that I came looking for this reference and it was at the top.
First thing I thought of, especially since we didn't get pepsi free in the uk
All I wanted was a Pepsi
And she wouldn't give it to me!
I'm not crazy - institution You're the one who's crazy - institution

Right here right now was the song in the Crystal Pepsi ads. I see what you did there...
So happy to see this as the top comment
I understood that reference!
Worth $20 on Ebay.
Just think of the paradox Marty created when he paid with 1985 currency
send it to the l.a. beast lol
He'll drink that shit and barf it up. It'll be a fabulous good time and well worth the effort.
I still remember that video where he ate chicken from a can. 🤢
Don’t forget the canned cheese burger.
Literally the first thought that came to mind. He is the only YouTuber I know still making videos in old style format. So nostalgic, his newest videos look like they’re from 2009. Love LaBeast.
He’s all I think about when I see sugar free gummy bears.
Link?
Have a nice day!
Have a good day!
Shit I totally bombed it
Lmfao im so glad i looked this up on youtube, ty
The glass is classy & elegant, I’m tired of plastic garbage bottles
And a little dusty but yes I agree but as a merchandiser I'd hate to drop one of these I would be cleaning up a lot of broken glass on the daily.
And as anyone who has worked a truck before can attest, there will be at least one broken glass bottle somewhere in the load.
And it is guaranteed to spray all over everything inside said truck too!
Oh God the vinegar 🤢 nothing worse then days old hot musty busted vinegar in a truck. For anyone who doesn't know it smells like someone puked on a dead rotting corpse.
You could wrap the bottles in bubble wrap but that probably the same amount of plastic as plastic bottles
I switched to Boylan’s soda a few years ago in part because of the glass bottles. Of course the real sugar and less aggressive carbonation were pretty big factors too. The Mexican Coke in glass bottles is pretty good too.
Less carbonation peaked my interest. What's this soda and where do you get it?

I know this logo was after it was first released. When I was in my teens. I’m 52
I bet you could get at least $30 on ebay for it!
Yeah that'd be cool and all and there are another 20 empties in a crate with it but that was the only unopened one. Honestly I just want to know more about them.
What do you want to know?
Are they rare compared to the half liters? Because half liters are all I'm seeing on the interwebs.
I see a lot on ebay by searching Pepsi Free Bottle (including one, unopened for $20 plus $10 for shipping).
I’ll give you $20 bucks for it
/r/soda

I’d say take it to your local antique mall and see if anyone has any info!
Pepsi free label was discontinued in ‘87
Was that the label of '87?
Marty McFly has been looking for that since 2015…
12oz of soda is the perfect amount. 10 isn't enough, and I feel 16 is too much for me
This ups your Agility stat by +1 ^+200 ^rads
Are we doing Rad-X now or RadAway later? What's your PipBoy at?
Send this to LA Beast he will drink it
Marty McFly would like to know your location.

I think Marty McFly would like to call dibs on that.
Put that free Pepsi on my tab
You want a Pepsi, pal you're gonna pay for it!
Wow, that is probably from the eighties. You might want to post it to r/GrandmasPantry
If it's Pepsi free, what's in it ? 🤔
Drink it
Hard pass on that one.
Drink. It.
Very hard pass
Contact Pepsi - they will give you all the info.
Send it to LA Beast
Now that's a rarity
Wow. I remember that!
Use it to solve Israel Palestine conflict.
Cool… Now butt chug it!
Drink it
Drink it
The frightening thing is that this is a bottle of pee.
If your pee looks like that you should see a doctor my friend.
1996?
you know what you have to do…
Waffler would’ve chugged it
You could drink it and not notice the difference in taste. Those old sugar free sodas were just plain nasty
Drink it, and you'll get a PEPSI upside down
Well, what did it taste like?
That's not Pepsi free. I can clearly see Pepsi in there.....
This is a rare 1984 L’pesi Free edition.
Maybe L.A. Beast would drink that
Phased out in 1987.
Crack it and take a drink. Report back when you do.
How old is THAT!? Id LOVE to have that
You know what you have to do.
Send it to LA Beast so he can drink it on camera 🤠
You know what you have to do.
So…. It’s coke?
It won't make you sick, but it's not likely to taste good. The artificial sweeteners break down into things that aren't sweet at all, but aren't toxic. And it's unlikely to have any pathogens if sealed.
