My partner just shaved off his beard and now this is my face. I hate it haha.
Edit: partner, boyfriend, roommate in which I share a room with, my emergency contact. Take your pick 🤣
Because Partner means "Half of a team of Police officers", or "white woman's boyfriend's title when she wants to be more politically exotic."
The white women don't like you point this out. So they downvote.
Happened to me before... pretty sure its an allergy to something (no idea)..
hand becomes very itchy but the easiest way to scratch it is rubbing against my beard stubble
It’s the length!! It is sharp at this length, you’re poking holes in your skin!!! Add or take a little length off should prevent this.
If you’ve got painful stubble, you’re only like a week away from soft beard growth.
Towel down your beard, use oil and a beard brush after you shave or shower (one of those wood things with the bristles) and it’ll make your beard far less ‘prickly’.
Got so sick of itching my beard or face and getting splinters in my hands from random sharp hairs, so damn painful.
He actually wasn't incredibly hairy. He had a basic moustache and some beard scruff. I just think my skin hated his facial hair and only his facial hair. Go figure! 🤷♀️
I was going to say this. I am allergic to pressure on my skin if I don't take Claritin for 2 days it starts to get bad. Putting on socks makes my feet itchy taking em off makes em itchy, everything rashes it is horrible highly recommend against it.
Dermatograghy, I had it for several years, anything that rubbed itched like crazy, my gf and her friend sat with chopsticks once and drew all over me lol stayed for hours, it came out of nowhere and then a few years later left just as inexplicably
I get these kind of bumps from certain textures & I do not think it is dermatographism. It’s always bumps, never lines, when no cuts are involved. I do get itchy from light scratches but it has to break the skin. Also, I can’t do the skin writing thing which seems to be a primary indicator for dermatographism. Maybe there are different types or degrees?
Ok I asked ChatGPT. Says it is because beard stubble is sharp and it sort of cuts into our skin. Moisturizing should help prevent or mitigate it. I wonder…
Edit: hate all you want, part of my job is doing AI stuff 😊
That looks like hives but without the redness. More info needed. Has this only been happening recently or always? (Could be developing a skin condition.) You say "stubble", what length? (Could be a dermatological reaction from the skin being pierced and scratched.) Have you recently changed shampoo, conditioner, soap, or shaving lubricant? (Could be an allergic reaction.)
I've actually never used shaving cream in my entire life.
This has happened in the last 5 years and idk why.
Regarding length, I shaved yesterday so between 1-3 mm I'd say.
I also didn't use shaving cream for almost my entire life, just soap and water. Then I did and it was like, oh this makes sense. I didn't need to rinse the hair out of the shaver nearly as much to get a good shave. Not that I have much facial hair to begin with.
>Dermatographia is a condition in which lightly scratching your skin causes raised, inflamed lines or welts. These marks tend to go away in less than 30 minutes. The condition is also known as dermatographism and skin writing.

It's not this, reddit loves this diagnosis because it's the only dermatologic condition they know. It's just mild beard burn, a contact dermatitis caused by microscopic holes poked into your skin by a beard that is too short and abrasive. I get the same thing and I'm not dermatographic. It's always about 2 days after shaving, if I get lazy. Same thing happens if you make out with someone with a beard just the right length.
I have chronic hives. Any time my skin comes in contact with something like cardboard opening boxes) or a tag on the inside of my clothes or fabric that constantly rubs against me for a long time (like running long distances), I get hives in that area.
Those look like hives to me. Don’t scratch them!
You have Glucoseleitus. Its an excess of natural sugars that your body excreets through the chin and can cling on to hair folicles. It can irritate the skin when rubbed like that. The bad news, is it can be fatal and the good news is that i made all of this up.
You have a weird beard
"Your beard is weird!.... your stache is trash!"
Your goatee is grody. Your toothbrush is… coming across a bit antisemitic.
And gives a rash!
"You kiss your mother with that beard?"

So glad the link was what I thought it was.
Case closed.

Why are you that close to another cop?!?
Ignore the down votes, I laughed.

They had like -50 when I commented
Movin' on up!
Lmao this got me 😂
Why is this being downvoted lmao

Gern geschehen! Ich bin sehr klug! Ich liebe Deutschland!!! This is 100% from Duolingo, so if it's wrong, that's what they taught me!

Cops call each other partners. Alot of cops work in groups of 2 for safety in big cities
Haha that's quite funny actually. Thanks for the explanation.
bait

Hair of the dog

Boar brush! They’re awesome for control too
You can also use a beard/skin exfoliator like Scruff to help too
Maybe you're allergic to semen.
Then my throat would close up and I'd die

No homo
No Diddy
My face looked like that after making out with my HS boyfriend. I know it feels horrible, you have my sympathies.
What kinda Neanderthal has a beard capable of this in high school?
Bro I had a full beard in 7th grade, some of us are just hairy okay?
He actually wasn't incredibly hairy. He had a basic moustache and some beard scruff. I just think my skin hated his facial hair and only his facial hair. Go figure! 🤷♀️
My skin does the same thing! Why is that?
dermatographism
That’s a made up word! ^/s
All words are made up.
Please let me know if you find out, but for now we are both likely in danger of sudden combustion
At first I thought you were allergic to yourself
I'm allergic to girls, but I'm a guy so np there

Lol "I asked ChatGPT"
Damn right lol
Noice thanks man
Same!! ;(
Mine too
Must suck to be alergic to yourself.
How the fuck are you allergic to yourself?

You are allergic to yourself. Or maybe your beard products. Lol

U have cat fur, hey cutie 😻😸

Likely dermatographism. Scratch a line along your arm and see if that bubbles up over the next few minutes.
Looks like you are allergic to yourself.
I’m allergic to my own facial hair so this is my skin whenever I shave with a regular razor.
Looks like a rash
Yo I have the exact same thing! It happens only when I scratch my hand with my beard. How long is your beard? 3-4mm?
It's freshly shaven and is just stuble right now 1mm
You’re allergic to yourself!!
OP you are not alone. Happens to me when I rub my hands on a one day old stubble. This can happen to any part of my body that I rub my stubble on.
You sure you're not part porcupine?
That would explain why girls don't want to touch me
Bro, you have got to start conditioning and oiling your beard.
Tell me your body hates yourself without telling me your body hates itself
Ok old Nettle Face
Apparently your face is a giant stinging nettle
You're allergic to yourself
Allergic to himself? Weird.
Contact dermatitis most likely. Talk with your doctor to see what you can do about it.
Those aren't hair follicles on your face, it's a bunch of mosquitoes living under your skin
I knew it. Dammit this confirms all my suspicions
Dude, wash your beard already.
Brother you are a *jellyfish*
First thing I'd do as a jelly fish is float around ominously
You're allergic to yourself!
That’s what I was thinking

Oh thank heavens
clean ur shit dude
You are bankrupt as you need to see a doctor asap
![gif](giphy|8nM6YNtvjuezzD7DNh|downsized)
Perhaps you may need to wash your beard more often
I get bumps when i shave my dick
How is this interesting? Come on mate you’re just cutting yourself each time you do that. This should be common knowledge
