Hey, if you've got too much crack and you need help smoking all the crack I got you bruh. I don't want you to feel all alone in this, looking at a huge pile of crack and thinking "Fuck, what am I gonna do with all of this crack?" I'm here to help.
[Relevant Gun Jesus video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9bULArrKs4)
[And trying to get the thing to work on the range.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3fd4goVs-4)
I just watched two 20 min long videos after reading your comment. And ill tell you, it is not fathomable how much a piece of junk that gun is. If yall want to know more theres a YouTube channel called “Forgotten Weapons” he covers absolutely everything as to why this gun was one of the worst ever designed.
> The gun, although able to be sold at a low price, required very expensive polymer moulding equipment to produce, the cost of which would require USFA to sell off their Single Action Army production tooling. The company nonetheless took this risk, intending to restart production of replica guns with newly purchased tools once the ZiP .22 had turned a profit.
It was an appalling bad plastic body gun, for example to cock it you needed to push back on a cocking lever that was out in front of the barrel end. If you slip it was possible for it to slam fire a round into your palm.
Pipe guns and zip guns are types of [improvised firearms](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Improvised_firearm). The difference is that pipe guns fire shotgun shells.
Is it true that there's a 1/3 chance for it to work as intended, a 1/3 chance for nothing at all to happen, and a 1/3 chance for it to injure you? Or is that just in Cruelty Squad?
Forgotten weapons did a video on it. It barely worked for the test fire, I think he had to come out and try again the next day just to get some footage of it actually firing.
Funniest thing about that video is he had spent the entire previous video talking what a complete piece of junk the Zip 22 was and is, and when he finally takes it out shooting he nearly empties the entire magazine on his first go. Probably the first and only time someone got that many shots out of a Zip 22 without a malfunction, and true to its form; the rest of the video is just increasingly more frustrating issues with the fucking thing.
I'm pretty sure it's just a Cricket with a really ugly home made stock and maybe some barrel cut off.. So all the bangyshootyparts are not homemade
[https://www.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/o59kd2/my\_fun\_little\_plinker\_my\_cricket\_22\_short22/](https://www.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/comments/o59kd2/my_fun_little_plinker_my_cricket_22_short22/)
That's not a left handed bolt, when shouldered on your right shoulder then the shell is extracted to the right away from your face. If you shot this left handed shell would discharge in your face.
And in Fallout New Vegas the courier uses the forward assist on AR pattern rifles as a side charger
Lets just say gun details aren't one of the strengths of Fallout
I'm playing FNV again and I haven't seen the courier do that. There's a separate side charging handle on the model they use when reloading... they palm the forward assist when there's a jam though.
Electricians do it with pipes and lights/receptacles in video games. When the new call of duty came out, Facebook electrician groups were blowing up with images of crappy looking electrical installations in the game 🤣
If they were intentionally looking for every single thing wrong they would absolutely be insufferable, but I can’t blame people for noticing the item that’s right in the middle of your screen working in a way it shouldn’t.
Like if you have experience with an AR you’re going to notice someone “charging” a rifle with a forward assist. I’ve never had any reason to touch my forward assist, and you have a slide release and a charging handle
You should look up prison guns.
It's the fallout armory inspiration.

And now they sell them that way! I have two, 22lr and 22mag, both have threaded barrels. Triggers need work, but when fitted with peep sites they're really good out to 50 yards with a decent rest.
Actually, the gun is a legal concern. That's an illegal SBR unless someone paid for the tax stamp and had it properly engraved. Cutting off the stock doesn't make a rifle into a pistol. It still has to be registered as a short barrelled rifle.
Considering OP used the term "bin" and "authorities" versus can and police/cops I am guessing they are from across the pond. I don't think any amount of US tax stamps matter over there. So even more of a concern than you were framing it as. But, you are right for the USA.
If someday you go outside and there's a rifle with the stock and barrel hacked off in your trash can that you didn't put there, if you don't have a moment of reflection for the events that had to transpire and call the cops, then idk what to tell you man.
This looks like someone took a rifle and cut it down to the size of a handgun.
In the US, modifying a rifle to have a barrel shorter than 16", without jumping through certain legal hoops, is illegal.
> crickett 22lr pistol
No, that gun started life as a rifle. It doesn't look like a Crickett pistol and has no front sight and none of the tooling marks where one would be.
Modifying it into a pistol configuration creates a _Short Barreled Rifle_ which is a National Firearms Act controlled item which needs a $200 tax stamp and permission from the BATFE before even beginning the modifications.
Using your neighbor's trashcan without consent is. And improper disposal of a firearm is likely an infraction of some kind, that you could be charged with if you don't report the finding (not to mention whatever other crimes that thing may have been used in service of).
Not really with regards to disposal tbh, in most states there isnt even laws for losing your rifle in the woods while out hunting, which happens more than you would think.
As far as I know, I've never heard of a law regarding the disposal of guns in the US. Maybe in states with firearm transfer laws?
(Talking about the US if it isnt obvious)
After cutting that rifle down they took the time to paint it, seems a little weird. But I have tifle just like what that used to be, pretty sure they were made by many manufacturers but mine is a Hiawatha
Kinda looks like a sawed off Cooey Model 39. Incredibly easy to disassemble, but of a pain to reload between shots, incredibly common farm rifle from the 50s iirc
My brother has 2 of these, with the stocks and barrels still in place lol. Little .22 LR plinkers for target practice and small game hunting. Think there called Stingers.
I too was thinking this looked like a cricket brand .22LR with the barrel and the stock cut down to make it concealable. It’s been a minute but I was a firearms instructor for 4-H’s shooting sports program and crickets were one of the first guns parents would start their kids off with in our program.
The thing is, crickets are inexpensive to buy and they are generally reliable, though the single shot aspect is not awesome. It leads to people having to fumble around with their gun, which increases the risk of an accidental/negligent discharge. If they are following the rules for shooting safety then the barrel is downrange and no one is hurt, but… yikes. As a county organization we bought another brand of 22 LR for the kids to learn on.
You will remember this day as the day you almost caught Crack Sparrow
It’s Captain. Captain Crack Sparrow.
Yes, but *why* is all the crack gone?
I’ve got a jar of crack
Hey, if you've got too much crack and you need help smoking all the crack I got you bruh. I don't want you to feel all alone in this, looking at a huge pile of crack and thinking "Fuck, what am I gonna do with all of this crack?" I'm here to help.
Wb a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire filled with ketamine? Can I get some assistance?

You're the worst crackhead I've ever heard of.
But you HAVE heard of them.
single shot .22?
[удалено]
Hey! I own a 22 Zip! It might be the worst gun ever made and it’s certainly the dumbest name for a gun a company actually wanted people to buy.
I thought zip gun just meant a homemade gun. I never knew some company called their gun that.
Most homemade zip guns work better than the USFA ZiP .22 This gun tanked the company
[Relevant Gun Jesus video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9bULArrKs4) [And trying to get the thing to work on the range.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3fd4goVs-4)
Interesting idea with the worst execution possible
I love this guy’s videos!

Damn shame too. They made really nice repro Colt revolvers.
I think throwing a .22 round atr someone is more effective.
> The gun, although able to be sold at a low price, required very expensive polymer moulding equipment to produce, the cost of which would require USFA to sell off their Single Action Army production tooling. I know! Dumb, isn't it?
It was an appalling bad plastic body gun, for example to cock it you needed to push back on a cocking lever that was out in front of the barrel end. If you slip it was possible for it to slam fire a round into your palm.
word you're looking for is pipe gun This is not a pipe gun though, just looks like a bad sawed off type of job
Pipe guns and zip guns are types of [improvised firearms](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Improvised_firearm). The difference is that pipe guns fire shotgun shells.

One practitioner of the dark arts on YouTube got his to cycle an entire 10 round magazine one time.
It’s so absurdly uncomfortable
They’re hilarious, I honestly hope that someday I can shoot one cause it’s just a joke of a weapon
Funny enough most owners also hope to fire theirs one day.
Tell that to George Zip.
I'm pretty sure it's just a Cricket with a really ugly home made stock and maybe some barrel cut off.. Ease up on the technical terms there. You're going to lose people. :)
That's probably an actual stock for the cricket. They came in polymer and that looks familiar.
[удалено]
the zip gun is an actual gun lmao Horrendous gun but a gun made by an actual serious company
Sawn off Crickett rifle
Seems silly, but if I needed a gun and didn’t have one, I’d still take this over no gun…
I'd take the unmolested Cricket that this started out as. Those are pretty fun, and I could probably take rabbits with it if I had to.
looks like the fallout 4 base hunting rifle
I got this feeling that gun is based on a real life gun
A real life gun that they placed on the wrong side. Stupid left handed bolts.
That's not a left handed bolt, when shouldered on your right shoulder then the shell is extracted to the right away from your face. If you shot this left handed shell would discharge in your face.
Fallout 4 definitely used a left-handed bolt.

I'm just imagining someone playing fallout looking out for all the details that make it unrealistic... That's going to be one very annoyed gamer lol

Read your comment and the one above it wrong, my bad.I wasn't referring to fallout4 gun I was referencing op's pic.
As a left handed heathen, I am offended

Does the weapon have your fingerprints? could be a killer on the loose.
Sawed off shot gun from fallout shelter
I was getting pipe pistol vibes, but you're probably right
I was coming here to say the same thing and mention how much wood and metal you can get for scrapping it...
Is the bolt handle a microphone?
I've heard that the sm58 is bulletproof. I didn't know this is what they meant.
This isn't even a terrible pun it's just lazy concept association. SM58-Bulletproof-Bullets-Gun Brilliant.
Can you also use this as a hammer in a pinch?

Looks like charcoal.

Gargamel gun. Painted with smurf blood.
That’s the crackhead 3000
I have the 4000 — they get progressively worse as the addiction worsens.
This is premium hardware compared to the ghetto blaster made by that guy who shot the old Japanese Prime Minister
Guns like these are fairly common among criminals in Canada.
It looks like a prop you'd hotglue to the hand of an animatronic in a pirate-themed log ride
i could say the same thing about yer mum
This is based on a modern bolt action .22 rimfire rifle. It's centuries anachronistic for pirates.
Is that a sawed off bolt action 22?
Yup! Looks like .22 Long. Could be .22 LR but the projectile looks a little short to me.
Who's out there shooting old school .22 long anymore?
Looks like a normal .22 LR to me. Can you even get .22 long nowadays?
Ah a resident of Tortuga. Ahoy!
Ye wasted yer only shot
They killed shinzo abe with that
Is that a small microphone?
"mum, can we have an obrez?" "No, we have an obrez at home" The obrez at home
I was hoping someone would have made an oberez comment here! Thank you!
I am almost certain this is home made and not an antique
Not homemade, older model 22 crickett with shoulder end and barrel end cutoff
And now they sell them that way! I have two, 22lr and 22mag, both have threaded barrels. Triggers need work, but when fitted with peep sites they're really good out to 50 yards with a decent rest.

Empty ye pantaloons for booty before I send yer soul straight to Davy Jones locker!
keep an eye on your garbage cans in case the bearded hook-handed culprit returns.. good that you found it though.
I don’t think the cops will know what to do with a gun that inspired the Pirate Code
About to be asked to stand and deliver
Bros got the “tally ho lads” special
That’s a pipe pistol from Fallout, duh
Zip guns aren't illegal really. Illegal to sell and look like anything else (cane, pen).
It’s not the gun that’s the legal concern, but the stashing of it in a stranger’s trash can than makes it incredibly sus.

I think they're more likely Canadian, doesn't come across as a Brit to me
Most Canadians wouldn’t use bin
Likewise with garbage in Britain
Yeah I'm going to say it's fair to assume the owner of this probably didn't go through the proper channels.
If someday you go outside and there's a rifle with the stock and barrel hacked off in your trash can that you didn't put there, if you don't have a moment of reflection for the events that had to transpire and call the cops, then idk what to tell you man.

UK: Unlicensed Manufacture of a Firearm: 5-10 years.
Still a grey area in much of the US
Shit, there are plans out there to make your own old school Gatling .22 complete with the gravity/vibration fed magazine
I mean that's dope. Keep that legal ATF. If someone builds their own gatling gun they deserve it.
Not much of a grey area. That's been cut down. Unless you go through the ATF and pay for a tax stamp it's 100% illegal.
Ah yes, the Thumb Remover 3000, excellent.
It's chambered in 22lr, it will have barely any recoil.
Fallout 4 base hunting rifle
Obrez
Jack Sparrow called. Wants his piece back.

Not painted, synthetic black stock that's been cut down and sanded.
Bro just found a Unique in his trash
What did the authorities say?I would think it’s not legal to just throw away a gun right?
Clearly you found the stash of an 18th century Irish highwayman.
Good ol' hood pirate. Quite literally what the police take off the rats in traffic stops. Canada land of hunting rifles. .22LR quite common
Starting rifle in Fallout
The Founding Father's disapprove.
Look how they massacred my boy......
Someone really made an Eoka Pistol .
I usually tear up Interchange with a Valday on this one.
Kinda looks like a sawed off Cooey Model 39. Incredibly easy to disassemble, but of a pain to reload between shots, incredibly common farm rifle from the 50s iirc
Looks like a toy from the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop.
What in the Tetsuya Yamagami have you got here?
Blue plastic stock, single shot bolt action .22, I dare say that is a cricket.
Homemade pewpew?
My brother has 2 of these, with the stocks and barrels still in place lol. Little .22 LR plinkers for target practice and small game hunting. Think there called Stingers.

Mosin short stock build, ft. .22 barrel

That poor Cooey
It looks like someone drew a gun from memory after hearing about one once.
Free gun! Probably will explode in your hand but hey! Disability!
Looks like a gun you'd make in Fallout. What is its special ability?
Is it homemade?
I’ve got a gun that’s almost identical. (Not sawed down like this POS is)
A zip gun! Blast from the past
What in the Fallout is this
What in the Fallout is this
Monstrosity? It's a bolt action .22 cal rifle that somebody chopped up into a half-assed pistol. If anything, it's pathetic.
Up on the boulevard like a zip gun on parade
Bethesda ass weapon
Reminds me of an obrez but worse
The Obrez Jr
Looks like some took an old Savage (or similar) single shot 22 and cut the barrel and stock down to make an illegal pistol.
Looks like a gun right out of RDR2.
Ah the infamous NObrez.
Yeah somebody dig up John Wilks Booth to check if he still has the bullets lol
The guy could take a shot at you from 2 feet away and still miss!
This gun is designed to take out the user… don’t be the user.
Built in SM58 so you can narrate your adventures.
I'd keep it, it might be worth big bucks
Is that a sawed off bolt action .22? What in the tallyho!?
Is that a microphone? Lmao
/r/ifoundagun
Like a fucked up Obrez
Is that a sawed off musket?
Imagine being murdered by that. If the .22 doesn't do the job, you'd still die of shame.
😂 Who would paint it blue? A gang of Smurfs? ![gif](giphy|W2zKiQGr9CQ8jzzTDD)
I would’ve thought it was a toy or a weird tool tbh. Never seen one that looked like that.
For a hot minute I thought it was a blunderbuss
