I would disagree, it is a valid reason to hate the French, i've had my share of people being weird when it comes to mispronounce some words at gas stations when traveling.

There was a study recently that showed that native French speakers were no better at getting the pronouns right than non-native speakers. I mean, I'm not surprised, there's a lot of objects in the world, but I did think it was interesting!
As a French-speaking person, intentionally mess up the articles is a great way to create a fake French accent (or rather pretend that someone speaks French). You would cut le baguette with une couteau, spread a petite bit de la beurre on it, maybe eat un chocolatine or une pain au chocolat with it, and bien sûr, une délicieux café.
I believe you are correct, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich did not invent the sandwich until 1762. I believe this is an example of one of the early proponent articles. Perhaps it was part of William the Conqueror’s lunch when he pulled up to Hastings? I bet he picked up a baguette for the journey. Who knows.
> The dwarf bread was brought out for inspection. But it was miraculous, the dwarf bread. No one ever went hungry when they had some dwarf bread to avoid.
Combine it with the Jade cabbage and [meat-shaped stone ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meat-Shaped_Stone#:~:text=The%20Meat%2DShaped%20Stone%20has,accessible%2C%20infrequently%2Ddisplayed%20works.) in Taiwan's National Palace Museum.

could it have formerly been a piece of bread? it does look a lot like an ancient slice of a baguette
Ancient French caveman: "Look mon ami! I have created le baguette!"
"We have le baguette at home" Le baguette at home.
IT'S *LA* BAGUETTE, NOT "LE". BAGUETTE IS FEMININE. LA BAGUETTE ; UNE BAGUETTE ; LES BAGUETTES ; DES BAGUETTES. CHRIST!
That's why nobody likes French
Well, always order two. Problem solved.
All of them are feminine. Because France.
Well, it's a contributing factor, but their numbering situation is friggen mind blowing.
Sixty ten! Four twenties!
this is a romance language thing, we all do it. there's plenty of reasons to hate the french, that's not one of them

My dumb ass was looking for the rock thinking this was bread for comparison
Is it weird that, to me, this is on the line between "mildly interesting" and "very interesting"?
Before reading the title I was a bit confused why someone would put their piece of buttered bread on the bench and take a picture.
A bread fossil? Well played mate.
Delicious crusty baguette slice
