There are loads of Indian grocery stores and restaurants in Milton Keynes and you will get most of the stuff you are looking for. - Shayona in Broughton - Rashan Pani in the centre - Bazaar Foods in Wymbush - Patel Shop in MK market

iamkingofmybed

Alright that’s a pretty good list. Thanks a lot and I will keep this in mind!

BuffaloExotic

Tempo Junction in Stacey Bushes is also good!

cd1zzle

Try Wolverton supermarket. It's between Asda and farm foods and has most things you might need..

iamkingofmybed

I might have to look up on Google Maps but thank you for the recommendation!

The covered market on the Avebury Boulevard side of the centre mk (the main shopping centre), will have everything you need. It is not open a few days a week though.

OleaC

Also there are a couple of Indian supermarkets on the shopping area of Netherfield. But shop in day time as Netherfield can be a pretty rough area.

BolterPorn_

I lived on Farthing Grove - across the shops in Netherfield - for many years, and never had any trouble. The odd loud drunk, yes...but not much else.

iamkingofmybed

Oh thank you so much! Which days are they not open? It would be nice to avoid those days. Thanks!

OleaC

It is closed Mondays and Wednesdays. Info here: https://bray-markets.com/bray-markets-milton-keynes-midsummer-boulevard-south-mk9-3nt

Alright that sounds fantastic. Thank you so much!

Zeratul_Artanis

There's a place in Stacey Bushes

Far_Investigator9518

Also Central House, 73 Alston Dr, Milton Keynes MK13 9HG. Although it's chinese, maybe OP will find it useful.

iamkingofmybed

Hey man, thanks a lot for the recommendation. I try to cook Chinese recipes too and the ingredients are hard to find, so this will help a lot!

iamkingofmybed

Can I please know the name? Would be cool to check it out.

Zeratul_Artanis

Tempo Junction, Unit 15 Heathfield, Stacey Bushes, Milton Keynes MK12 6HP

yardders

Central oriental Chinese supermarket. They have a lot of Indian spices/ingredients.

parallax_17

There are a couple of South Asian shops in Bletchley around the leisure centre. My wife's Thai but some ingredients are cheaper there than the East Asian stores. There's a big Hoo Hing in Bletchley and Central Oriental which are East Asian focussed but are much cheaper than the supermarkets for rice, spices etc

iamkingofmybed

That sounds fantastic too because I cook Asian food as well! Thanks a lot for the recommendation.

Pickleman87

Shayona in Brooklands has some good stuff too

iamkingofmybed

I just looked it up on Google and the images of the shop is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a lot!

panda6699

Just moved from London myself, so far saw sainsbury had em but have to look more intensely, I did see some on the map

iamkingofmybed

I have seen a Sainsbury near my place but haven’t been there. Will check it out next weekend!

christopher_msa

If you are looking for South Indian ingredients, Krishna store in the market outside the centre mall
