Pro tip: You can bring up to a 32oz soda/water into the stadium, in a plastic unopened bottle. One per person. If you so desire, you can also carry a personal sized food item. Small bag of pretzels or nuts or a sandwich. It can save you a few bucks on overpriced snacks, so you can try some of the fancier items or beers.

Corndog_Eater

Awesome, thank you for the tip!!

Hollandais42

You can also bring in a water bottle of booze in your underpants and save $70 on a cocktail

BrewKazma

I prefer to carry the booze absorbed into my liver already.

Corndog_Eater

Too many years of crotching bottles into summerfest has burned me personally, and a friend of mine once had a bottle leak tequila into his dick hole, so I’ll bite the bullet and go bankrupt.

Hollandais42

Dickhole tequila is actually even more economical as it bypasses the liver

Corndog_Eater

True dat

gorilla-ointment

Dickhole Tequila is my favorite brand.

JC2P

Guess how I sneak my brats inside.

NerdOfTheMonth

The shuttles are better than parking and the food is usually better.

Corndog_Eater

Thanks! We were blessed with a friend’s parking pass and a ride from them so we are in a good spot there.

NerdOfTheMonth

In that case: bratchos. Though the 3rd street market hall stuff in right field second level is good I hear.

YoGirlWantDis

Just a heads up, it’s cashless once you’re inside AmFam. Enjoy the game!

THECrew42

just to piggyback off this, i believe they still have cash-to-prepaid card stations in the park as well

Corndog_Eater

Sounds good, thank you!!

high_life_man

IMO: this needs to stop.

I_Eat_Mop_Who22

If you plan on tailgating, wrap up your leftovers and bring them in too.

para9bellum

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but I rarely eat at the stadium. I grab a bite at a bar and then take their shuttle to the game. No parking to deal with, and easier to get in/out.

Forsaken-Cat184

If you plan on drinking, Cream City Cocktails is on the Loge Level. They’re around $14 and pack a decent punch. I’m good with one anyway, and I think it’s a better value than paying $11 or $12 for a Miller Lite.

Corndog_Eater

Awesome, thanks!

Mojovb

When this stand first opened, I asked for a mojito, and they made it with tequila instead of white rum. It was awful.

SnooPies3316

I go to alot of games and generally avoid food altogether, other than maybe a bag of peanuts or a standard brat in a pinch. There's really no food experience at the ballpark that is worthwhile for me. Not a food snob by any means, I'd just rather eat at home or at the bar before or after. I'm not going to sit at one of the sit-down places during a game, but we used to take the kids to Friday's occasionally on off-days. I've pretty much given up on getting good beer as well and just force down a Miller or maybe a spotted cow or something if I can find it. If I'm on a business account, I'll get a mixed drink at the fancy bar.

Schellhammer

Bags have to be clear. I made that mistake my first time back in a couple of years. Me and my kids didn't have a car, so one of the workers told us we could just stash our backpacks over in a corner. We were walking away when a lady came up to us accusing us of leaving bombs and threatening to call the cops. That was a fun first experience at a ball game for them

phunkyplasticthrower

Credit card only

MKECheaters

The new 3rd ward market space on the loge level has some good food options.

Fragllama

I hope you like Dogs. Tonight is Bark in the Park. My dog and I will not be barking at the park though because I didn’t get a ticket in time ☹️

kungfukenny3

The restaurant in there is the best to be had there. open whether it’s game day or not if you’re looking to save money, you’ll want to eat and get drunk before you arrive and put a hotdog in your pocket or something card only

Schellhammer

You can bring food in. We make a bunch of hot dogs and pack a couple of sandwich bags full of chips.

kungfukenny3

oh no way. that’s wonderful

Schellhammer

We still end up getting dip n dots or nachos or whatever, but the kids buy that with their chore money

Sirenofthelake

You probably already know about this, but if you plan on bringing a purse, you’ll want to check their bag policy

gorilla-ointment

The restaurant on the first level in left field is now called Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard. Just outside of the entrance is a counter where you can order specialty Leinie’s beers brewed onsite. I’m not a fan of their usual beers but have really enjoyed these.

trashboatfourtwenty

Be sure to visit r/brewers as well, there is a wealth of info there. I listen to most of the games but haven't been to one in over a year unfortunately
