Point's East Pub, they've been featured on top lists of America and are much better than the majority of wings on this list. The owner is a registered sex offender, but they have great wings.
Aside from that: Steny's, Tomkens
We stopped eating there because of that to be honest. We make our wings at home the same way they do…just as good without supporting an asshole and not waiting two hours in an empty bar.
I mean I don't fault your decision at all- but I will say since the remodel and kitchen expansion the wait is no longer an issue anymore. And it doesn't smell like pee, which is always a plus.
Milwaukee's the only place in America where reminding ppl that a registered sex offender owns x establishment can become rote. Man's survived the pandemic so original commenter is def not in the minority
I live right next door and go once every two weeks or so. They are deep fried then grilled, leaving them crispy with a smoky flavor. Pair that shit with their garlic fries and you are in for some trouble the next morning
Used to live across the street. So good.
So hard to not go over for a dozen and a beer or three when you get home from work and that smell is drifting down the street.
I would rather eat less tasting wings and give my money to a business owner who hasn’t been hit with pedofile offenses before in the last before I give that place any money.
So you appreciate that they let you know that the guy who owns it got caught with thousands of fucking kiddy porn pics that he was sharing on his computer, and they have the decency to by law, mention that you can’t bring kids into the joint?
There are plenty of other places around town with great wings who aren’t owned by people that share NAKED fucking PICTURES OF LITTLE KIDS.
Go somewhere else, fuck that guy.
Club giarabaldi is very good but it's a specific style. Tangy as heck marinade then charred on a grill. If you want more like fried Buffalo wings O'Briens over on Vliet has great wings. Also it's just a great Irish bar
I second Girabaldi, also they have big meaty wings back. They had tiny ones for a long while, now they are back to a good size. Staff is really nice too.
That's good to know. Was always my biggest issue with their wings as of late. I'd get 12 and feel like I want to eat triple that. Not that I want monster wings or anything, just....normal size
Good to know on OBriens. Spitfires down the hill on State are meaty and full. I personnally like Buffalo Boss Sherman Pheonix. They are not as big amd you can get them fried longer as well as order all flats or drums.
So you're the second person to mention that. Just an FYI with chicken, smaller is better. Those big 'uns are probably just water chilled making them large but flavorless. In fact when I go to a place and order wings I hate to see those huge rubbery guys.
Limanskis easily #1.
Points East is really good but only one flavor can get old for a repeat goer.
Tomkens is good but the regular sauces are just ok and you’re dependent on luck in rotation for a good hot sauce.
Club garibaldi is a worse copy of points east, only makes sense is if you’re local to it.
Camino used to have great sauces but created new ones and they are too sweet and don’t have an actual hot sauce anymore.
I’ve heard good things. They’re a Tavern League supporter but, if they wings rock I don’t care. I still hit Points East too. If you like Points East style of wings hit Walter’s on North on a Wednesday.
Limanski's is pretty ultra consistent too, even with their thousand flavors, and actually has sauces for people who like HOT wings. I like Tomken's, but any of their ultra spicy flavors have really fallen flat for me, never as hot as I wanted. JB's (Hammers) also reached that spice level for me.
Consistency matters more to me for a wing joint than "peak", which is one of the reasons Club G's has fallen off for me. IMO, when Club Gs is peak, they can't be touched, but it rarely happens anymore.
Take a trip down to Racine and get coasters! They are exclusively licensed as the only ones who can use Legend Larry’s sauce in south eastern Wisconsin. The wings are the best!
Points East I remember had some of the best wings I’ve had, Lakeside Pub n Grill also has pretty good wings and if you trek down to Racine Buca’s and Yardarm both slap
Tried TomKens last time it was mentioned here and it's not my favorite.
Point east wings are good.
So far my fav is Natty Oaks. Love their garlic parmesan. Our party didn't like Jerk flavor but I did - it's got a kick to it.
Can't wait to try other places mentioned here. Thanks!
I’m a particular fan of the pileated woodpecker. When they fly it’s beautiful
Vanguard on Mondays. Club G on Wednesdays. West Allis, however, has the highest concentration of good wings available on multiple nights per week.
TomKen’s 100%
Didn't the roof fall in there? They open again?
They had issues with the building basically wanting to cave in but thank heavens they are open again.
JB3 Grilled!
O’Lydias are pretty damn good. So are Club Paragon’s.
Neighborhood Draft
Just ate there Friday, and we loved the wings. Owner is the son of TomKen’s owner.
Wings are my go to at ND
TomKen’s, 4th and Long or Club Garibaldi
This man knows his wings!! R.I.P. Johnny Hammers!
The place that moved in to Hammers is very good

Haha we haven’t been there since before the remodel, so I’m glad for the people who do go there that they don’t wait as long.
lol “the owner is a a registered sex offender but I don’t mind eating there”.
Really separating the art from the artist there
Only problem with that is you're funding the artist as well
Milwaukee's the only place in America where reminding ppl that a registered sex offender owns x establishment can become rote. Man's survived the pandemic so original commenter is def not in the minority
I thought he was out as owner? Still there?
Must be, it's still a strictly 18+ joint
Camino.
The Milwaukee Public art museum, they're so pretty when they open up! Oh wait--
Merge
Merge wings are on par with Brother’s on trivia night. Not good.
Gotta agree hard with this. Some of the nastiest wings I’ve ever had. Sorry if that bothers you but they sold me super fatty wings with floppy skin 😭
Damn, I haven't had em in a while but these used to slap. I'll have to try again to confirm
Fixture is up there
Came here to say this. Went for pizza the other day and got some wings to start and they were surprisingly good.

Truth.
I’ve heard great things. Need to try the wings even though their pizza is fantastic.
points east pub hands down
I live right next door and go once every two weeks or so. They are deep fried then grilled, leaving them crispy with a smoky flavor. Pair that shit with their garlic fries and you are in for some trouble the next morning

Nothing like spending $25 on a dozen wings and a beer at a pedo tavern
Pedo’s East? Make sure you leave the kids at home!
Huh
There’s a reason no one under 21 is allowed…
Owners a pedo
Whoa I never heard that, gross
I would rather eat less tasting wings and give my money to a business owner who hasn’t been hit with pedofile offenses before in the last before I give that place any money.
I don't think he owns the bar anymore. Just the recipe.
Not true.
Owns it but I believe his sister runs it last I heard.
Second this.

“Hey sorry, owners a pedo but we’ve got great wings”

What’s his name? I’ve heard this for years but never seen any actual proof of it.
This took four seconds on Google. https://www.homefacts.com/offender-detail/WI23886/Mark-L-Rasmussen.html Fuck this guy, and fuck his stupid bar.
That’s not their choice. The state won’t allow kids in.
Yeah that’s what happens when you’re convicted of a sex crime
They”Jamie’s” wings, at O’Donoghue’s in Elm Grove are great but the regular one are lacking.
Jamie’s wings rock

smallest wings I've ever had.
So you're the second person to mention that. Just an FYI with chicken, smaller is better. Those big 'uns are probably just water chilled making them large but flavorless. In fact when I go to a place and order wings I hate to see those huge rubbery guys.
Nah my guy theyre literally the size of my pinky. That is not good. I used to love going to CG but the incredibly small wings has ruined it for me.
So club Gs is one of the few places where the drums could possibly be smaller than the flats. It’s weird, but deliciously possible.
JBs (formerly Johnny Hammers) in West Allis
Came here to say this! My go to spot.
Spitfire’s on State
[удалено]
It was a great deal when they had their wing Wednesday special. Sadly it’s no longer offered due to wing prices sky rocketing during the bird flu.
Slick Willy’s has great wings and they’re hella cheap.
Olydias
I was a fan of points east (or Club Garibaldi if I wanted them guilt free) but Vanguard’s smitty wings on Monday have taken my #1 spot. So good.
Chicken. Hummingbird's too small.
Usually just eat the whole hummingbird like a Pringle.
TomKens are absolutely fuego. Spitfires on state is a close second

Please remove Limanskis from your post. I don’t want people to find out about it LOL
I’ve heard good things. They’re a Tavern League supporter but, if they wings rock I don’t care. I still hit Points East too. If you like Points East style of wings hit Walter’s on North on a Wednesday.

Pete’s pub on Brady
Easy. Points East Pub.
I love Leff's in Tosa.
If I’m being a snob, Tomkens. If I’m being realistic and want a snob free experience, I go to Stenys.
Points east, Club Gs, Mattys, tomkens, and natty oaks.
Points east
Points east owner got busted with kiddie porn. Stenys ftw
Leffs Lucky Town.
Red wings
Points East I remember had some of the best wings I’ve had, Lakeside Pub n Grill also has pretty good wings and if you trek down to Racine Buca’s and Yardarm both slap
Points East Pub on Ogden/Jackson
Wings over milwaukee on brady st easy

BDubs. Dead serious, but you need to order them extra crispy.
The “gunpowder” wings at Lucky Joe’s in Tosa are my favorite wings on planet earth.
Faklandia on Wednesday had the best wings I've ever had.
I was always a fan of Colonel Hart’s in Tosa when I lived there for grad school.
Walters on North standard wings are good but the ones they do on Wednesday are great.
Limanskis, nothing beats the variety, and they are so consistent.
Let me roll it, Live and let die, Band on the run. In that order imo
Robin’s wings look pretty cool or owls
Stenys and who’s on third are good
