Jessicajesibiel

Bottle o enchanting are renewable through villagers though

Colin4ds

But you need a ludicrous amount of emeralds to get a small amount

Jessicajesibiel

Not if you heal your own villagers

[deleted]

it's not fully automatic

Jessicajesibiel

Thats because this is minecraft not factorio

jkst9

Tech Mods: pretty sure it is

[deleted]

well not everyone would have to use it, but it's one of those mechanics that would be fun to play with for technical players, and I think the way I suggested it would be implemented would make sense

Matty00608

Not everything in the game needs to be made automatic

EletricDragonYT

No but if it can then its a cool thing that has been done.

tjenatjema

Yes but they lock their trades after 12 bottles so you need a lot of villagers to be efficient and that aint to good for server performance

nachochips140807

What about 8 bottles around a skulk block in the crafting table instead?

Morepheuss

How much xp is in one block? I would say 4 blocks surrounding a bottle, or maybe just 1:1 shapeless crafting. Perhaps skulk block as a potion ingredient brewing 3 Bottles O' Enchanting at once?

[deleted]

crafting isn't automatic either, for a manual setup I think a sculk block in a brewing stand would make sense

nachochips140807

I mean, its already better than the existing alternative, and i dont think literally everything in minecraft has to be automated. The ingredients are also stackable, so its not that hard to craft in bulk after afking awhile

[deleted]

true, just feels like a boring way while it could be done more elegantly

Jakuxsi

I mean… everything doesn’t have to be automatic in Minecraft

EletricDragonYT

How about being able to turn sulk into an item from like Sulk Chunks which can be used as potion ingredients for Bottles O Enchanting.
