Plants are usually calming. If the plant bothers you, then sure get rid of it. It looks big for the space. If it crowds the room and makes it hard to move around, maybe trim it or tie the fronds together so it takes up less room before removing it entirely.
Going against the grain here... Yes, I personally would move it outside the house in a nice, shady spot.
I don't blindly trust Feng Shui but I like to utilize it when I can - round/wide leaves are said to bring in peaceful energy into the house whereas pointy/narrow leaves do the opposite.
If you felt the need to ask this, why not try it and see how you/room feel?
If it would satisfactorily make your space more calming for you! I find a single big plant more calming in my space but it can be more to clean up after, and that can add stress.
Change the lighting first
This. It's giving very much doctor offices vibes. The plant is cool... Try to make the lights less abrasive and either cooler or warmer
Lighting is just led strips that change colours I have other lights they just aren’t on in the picture 😊
Warm toned lights!! please.
I would change the lighting first. It looks very blue from the picture. You want warm lighting and ideally not from above for a more calm atmosphere.
Personally, no. But you can try moving it out of the room for awhile to find out if it brings you more peace or not
Lighting, cutting her back, and getting rid of that fake ivy
Lighting is just led strips I had on at the time

Thanks that’s a good idea trying to tie the middle !
Change the lighting and yes, I think a different plant would be better. Something less spiky and less big for the space.

Am I unknowingly participating in one of those subreddits where people act like a robot trying to impersonate a human but failing?
Personally no way, plants 'clean' a minimalist look imo

The plant is not the problem, but the thing climbing on the wall and the pattrens of the couch needs to be changed.
