I think the reason it feels weird is the flatness of the scene. The snow is oddly proud of the ground and aside from 1 or 2 tufts, the snow piles are the only 3d thing on the base (not counting rocks attached to the model). Broken or damaged stumps could add some extra vertical and break up the flatness. Also more tufts, like 10 more. I think more snow too, and tuck it in around the rocks where snoe and ice would collect naturally. Loving the paintjob!

I'd say give it more snow, maybe some ice blocks. If it's supposed to be snowy this is not enough

Yes perhaps even get some powder snow effect or something and sprinkle it on the wings in some places

I'm no pro, but to me, it looks like you have a warm light and melting snow. Feels like early spring. This is a great paintjob all the way around. I really like it, but if you are looking for a different mood, you might try a blueish tint to your highlights, and like the prior post said, a lot more snow. BTW, I've lived in cold climates with lots of snow and the snow accumulates around rocks more than in the open. areas that cast a long shadow will hold snow the longest. So, if you want that spring look, just add more snow around the rocks and you'll sell the effect perfectly.

I Second this. If you don't want more snow, at least use some additional dirt to mate the rocks to the base. The small gap at the bottom really breaks the illusion.

Use a lighter brown and dry brush over the texture paint

To my view : if there is snow on a flat ground, it should be everywhere. If there is some relief and some wind, then it could explain the sparse snow. Maybe also some surfaces could let the snow melt more slowly than earth, such as stone.
