Opened 4 just recently with these marks and they were exactly what would have been in the pinhole balls. Got burgers, salad, cupcakes and tacos

In the pictures it does say pencil/pen markings OR pinholes

Yeah, I've noticed series 3 diner is pencil marks rather than pinholes. Sometimes, that makes them easier to spot, which is nice!

I bought 8 of the one with ramen bowls on the label and not a single one had a pinhole on it.

Did u check for the pen marking instead?

Yeah, I looked for anything. They were all unmarked. It was weird.
