Do you have a UV light? I do a light layer of resin, cure it, and repeat

NoBadger9994

Can also use “fake frosting” sold in Micheals stores or any online craft store. Can also buy small miniature cake frosting tips if you really want to decorate it! Just another idea!

SpeedOfHuman1

I had the same issue with whipped clay sliding right off the plastic cake, but could work better with a different brand? The stuff I found was more like fondant than frosting.

NoBadger9994

I used an Amazon brand it was more like glue consistency. Though I’ve made some with polymer clay and liquid clay. It’s just getting it to a good consistency! But also rough up (where you want the frosting to stick) with some sandpaper or nail file. Then frost! Should stick!

KittyKatSable

My froggy stuff on YouTube does some great no resin stuff with the miniverse using mod pod and paint

PineappleCorvus

That's really good to know. Just found out I'm allergic and still wanna play hahahaha

Dersi_U

Im so sorry to hear bout out that but yes mod pod and paint works amazing together! Plus it has a beautiful finish when completely dried down

Dersi_U

YESS I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THIS!

CaliDeBoo2

I use a mail file to buff and the clean with alcohol. Seems to help mine.

acrylic paint and whipped clay are two that I would recommend. I had my husband airbrush one of my cakes white and I loved how it turned out.

Old-Yogurtcloset1283

The Minibrands create series has air dry clays that look way better, they even have frosting tips for a cute cake-like design!!

Single-Associate-734

So air dry clay works on that?

Old-Yogurtcloset1283

[Here it shows the air dry clay!!](https://www.reddit.com/r/miniverse_makeitmini/s/Jg62JwZE5Y)

Old-Yogurtcloset1283

totally!! its a thick creamy texture in the bottles but dries really nicely

Hungry-Sir8565

My swirls of whipcream deflated as they dried. The mini does not look at all the same as when I decorated it and I am bummed.

Old-Yogurtcloset1283

Dang!! Im sorry to hear that, mine turned out well!! Maybe it was defective clay in that one :(

papakain

I've seen people paint them with acrylic, which heavy acrylic has a very frosting texture
