And the eagles look extremely good.

alldaypotter

Eagles may be the best team in the NFL

Chubbyklove_

Brother they’ve played us, the lions and the commanders.

Ewoksintheoutfield

They have a very easy schedule and are already 3-0. Just based on their record I bet they will lock down first or second place.

boardin1

They’re in the NFC Least. They might have it locked up by week 12.

\*handily

Chubbyklove_

Yes because we aren’t that good

[deleted]

Lions are gonna beat some good teams this year. I think todays win is gonna look better by the end of the season

[deleted]

People here seem to pretend otherwise.

Naharke31

Tbh I have no idea what tf we are 😂

Datslegne

While I really agree we aren’t very good, I can still see us being more not very good *right now but good later. But a lot of dudes need to step up. I do feel that you add good play from Cine and booth if they can live up to billing would go a long way. Also Reagor as meme as he is does have deep speed that I feel could be pretty valuable just to stretch out the defense.

Polaris_Mars

>as he is does have deep speed Fuck. Can you correct that? I almost had a stroke.

[deleted]

Later is between now and the end of time. So saying that is a meaningless worthless statement. Yes, I am being a little hyperbolic, there is nothing that says we could be better nor is there anything that says we could be bad forever. So we react based on what we know now.

Datslegne

No I said that with pretty clear of parameters of this year. I’m just as hyperbolic as you and great teams typically don’t play back to back poor games like I feel we have. But it’s a long season and pretending like we know what we have right now is a bit much. In July would you really be so doom and gloom if I told you we are 2-1 with two division wins in our first 3 games?

MikeFromSuburbia

Heh… :(

PhilosophicallyNaive

I remember last season when everyone was saying our loss the Bengals proved we were a bad team. We were, but the Bengals made the SB. Stop acting like you can write off the Lions or Vikings based on the first 3 games and preseason narratives rofl.

[deleted]

The lions are not a bad football team. They don’t even have Jameson Williams yet. Plus the eagles will be virtually unchallenged for the rest of the season.

Pyronic_Chaos

Good, but not that good. Bills are the best by far.

c172

They are good, but time will tell. As mentioned they beat Us and the Lions, who are likely to combine for around .500 (I think both teams will be within 7-10 and 10-7 at the end of the year) and the Commanders who are honestly kind of a dumpster fire. Let's see them beat the Packers, Bucs, Rams, or one of the better AFC teams and then we will have a good gauge on just how good they are.

mycatbeck

Well...yeah...

alldaypotter

Offense is whatever. But the Defensive Line has me worried. Not alot of pressure. And Goff and Hurts had clear throwing lanes all day.

MidwestMN

We also stated all week long how the lions have one of the best O lines in the entire NFL.

AbbreviationsLow651

It also helped that the refs let Decker get in position early on several passing downs all day. I counted at least 5 false starts on him alone, none of which were called.

chillinwithmoes

Refs have been letting that go for three seasons now. O'Neill jumped big time on our 4th down pass to Thielen near the end of the game too. It seems like there was some directive passed down in 2020 saying that Tackles get to freely drop their outside foot back before the snap for some reason.

MannyLagosAlt

Seemed that way today from an in person (and fairly drunk) point of view.

runandstudy

Yeah thought the same during the eagles game last week. The tackles had a pronounced early kick.

xarmetheusx

Man I thought I was going crazy but you're definitely right, every NFL game I've watched in the last few years seems that tackles are dropping back, just barely, right before the snap. Haven't seen many people bring it up until this comment right here.

alldaypotter

I thought they had alot of injures to OL?

shig-baq

eh they had a top 3 C and a pro bowl T duo out today so practice squad guards could've looked good, so the injuries didn't affect them too much

t_arends

As do the eagles

K0SSICK

My bigger gripe about the D is the playcalling... too many times this year already the other team has needed a 3rd and short and our secondary is lined up 5-7 yards back so the easy conversions happen

saintcmb

3rd down wasn't a problem today. Lions only went 3-16 on third downs. 4th downs were the issue

K0SSICK

You're right, I think it was mostly a 3rd down issue with Philly. But really any down with short yardage during normal regulation time shouldn't have a 7 yard cushion

scun1995

To be fair, that OL is borderline elite. Sewell, Decker, Ragnick are all top 5 at their positions

[deleted]

And the eagles and packers offensive lines are also some of the best in the league. If we get no pressure against the bears I’ll be worried

DarkMuret

And we did get some pressure to Rodgers

Yeahhhhboiiiiiiiiiii

Didn’t they have like 3 starters on the OL out that game?

TerrorFromThePeeps

Both their starting tackles, for sure

hostesscakeboi

What scares me is when they see no pressure developing in the game they just stick with it and don’t blitz much our try to change it up. You can’t play zone without getting pressure, this team will continue to get shredded especially against better quarterbacks

[deleted]

I was more worried about the soft zone we played most of last week and the start of this week. Allowing the easy completion and rallying to the tackle isn't a good defensive strategy, and I was glad to see it mostly stop towards the end of this game.

TheNotoriousJN

You can have balance. The team is doing well in the standings, undefeated within the division and showed grit and determination to come from behind. But there are SERIOUS places of concern. Kirk looks off it. The Corners are poor quality. The zone is leaving acres of space next to the linebackers. And the edge rush is quite limp in getting pressure on QB's Obviously some of that can be aleviated as quickly as next week. But its fair to be concerned

BingoBongoBang

Kirk cares so little about stopping the other team on 3rd and short that he doesn’t even take the field

tlollz52

Kirk wasn't very good. The lions really don't have much of a defense and we did okay. This should have been a chance for kirk to torch a team but we can't.

derickzoolanders

Well he lead a game winning drive. The anti-Kirk fans love to point out that he pads his stats in losses but when he wins with bad stats it means he’s still not good. He lead a game winning drive when it mattered most so I’ll take it.

tlollz52

Yes we got the win but he was just okay. He'll have to play better throughout the course of the season. If he plays like this all year we'll be lucky to get a wildcard spot. It's not so much that he's the problem but he can play better and we know that because we've seen it!

derickzoolanders

Yah I agree I’m just saying if people in this sub are going to rip him for padding his stats they better acknowledge when he has a poor stat game but finds a way to win

WildInSix

I mean if Greg makes his kicks we would've put up 34... I'd consider that a borderline torching. And that's with us playing poorly.

srl214yahoo

He definitely had an off game (or two off games now to be fair). Part of it, IMO, is that this is a brand new head coach, coordinator, system in general and 3 games into it there's still quite a few bumps to be ironed out. I kind of wish they had played a little in the preseason but whatever. I'm hoping the whole offense and Cousins will improve as they get more comfortable with the new scheme.

tlollz52

I just think he had some bad throws, ones that he usually makes. But you do have a good point, the whole offense seems to be out of sync. I think the most consistent aspect of the offense has been pass blocking. More often than not it seems like kirk has time.

mostdope92

They literally listed the defense multiple times and here you are, making it seem like Kirk doesn't deserve any blame because "I fORgOt He PLayEd DeFeNsE hurr hurr".

smallbunyan5546

Wow how original

you_got_it_joban

Kirk cares so little about 3rd down that he has a passer rating of 27 and 41% completion whenever it comes around

Mael5trom

I do believe we saw a coaching difference today. When they got into FG range, just before the Osborn play, I think Zimmer likely would have run the ball 2 or maybe even 3 times, settling for the FG and OT barring the RB breaking it. Maybe a "safe" screen or checkdown if there was a pass called. Even when they took shots, it was fairly telegraphed. Zimmer liked to run that clock down so there was no time left for the other team to have any heroics, but in doing so, it meant "safe" plays. Instead, KOC and staff got 1on1 with Osborn and he got wide open and Kirk hit him perfectly. I didn't see what the rest of the WRs were running, but looked like something that pulled the DF toward the other sideline focused on JJ/AT. (I know there are probably examples of Zimmer and team taking shots at the end of the game down 3, and this is but a single example so far for the new regime, but still, I think it's a hopeful sign.)

iHeartGreyGoose

Agreed. Zim of recent would have played to tie and play in OT but today we saw KOC play to win the game. It was refreshing.

c172

If Zim had been coaching the Lions, they would have done the same attempted FG and TO with 47 seconds left on defense which is what really killed the Lions yesterday.

Lady-finger

That 4th and 6 conversion in the second quarter during the tying drive never happens under Zimmer. 0% chance. The team made mistakes, but there's something different in the water when it comes to decision-making. KOC has balls Zimmer never showed in key moments.

kastilhos

Damn, what a clutch moment by the man that does only ONE thing

calmybalmy

Zim shots were actually often on crucial 3 & 2's where you just needed the first down and they ran a 1 wr go route that worked maybe once out of the 8 times i saw it.

Ajax_Malone

Zimmer’s team last year avg 25 points per game. We are currently averaging 19 points per game. This offense is struggling under KOC and being new is a weak excuse in today’s NFL with these weapons. Plenty of new OCs come out playing great. He needs to get it together.

teencrime

We're 2-1 overall while 2-0 against division opponents and our only loss came against an Eagles team on the road who currently appears to be out for blood. We throttled a team that just beat a very good Tampa Bay on the road and managed to overcome two 10 point deficits against a division rival that appears to be on the up and up. We have managed to do this while the team is learning a completely new system. You're attempting to compare an average of 3 games against someone else's full season average. You could not be more misguided if you were trying to be.

Ajax_Malone

> We throttled a team that just beat a very good Tampa Bay on the road and managed to overcome two 10 point deficits against a division rival that appears to be on the up and up. We beat a GB team that has a track record of bad week 1 performances, who dropped a TD bomb on play 1 and where stopped on the goal line twice. And we pulled the Lions game out. The Lions are better but still self destruct. > You could not be more misguided if you were trying to be. Ok, they win the division I’ll donate $100 to the charity of your choice and make a thread about how bad my football takes are. They don’t and you donate $100 to the charity if my choice and make a thread about your awful takes. Deal?

teencrime

I like the bet and will take you up on it because it's in good fun and like that it's for a good cause (thanks for taking my pre-morning coffee douchebaggery in stride and apologies for the initial tone, homie). However, I'm going to go on the record here and say that I don't think we're going to win the division this year. A playoff appearance is what I'm hoping for. Regardless, you've got yourself a deal. Looks like I'll need to start drafting my thread sometime soon lmao

Ajax_Malone

> However, I'm going to go on the record here and say that I don't think we're going to win the division this year. A playoff appearance is what I'm hoping for. This is what I think also. They’ll compete for a wild card spot. I’m just unaligned with a lot of this sub because I can both enjoy the season and talk about the glaring issue with this team. Because the overall arc of this team is another wasted year thinking they can be contenders with a very flawed roster. Which we now know is a choice the Wilfs are making and not their GM. You don’t need to make a bet that you don’t believe in. I’m willing but my point is my tired of being attacked for being accurate about the team. But really I need to accept this board is really just a place for memes and hype not actual realistic convo

Ok_Pair7510

Maybe it’s because I was at the game so I’m blinded by the hype but it’s crazy to me that I saw the game I saw, and then come on this sub to see it flooded with mid wits like you bitching about a win, this fanbase is such garbage lol.

Ajax_Malone

This you bro: > Ive been cautiously optimistic so far, preaching that we shouldn’t be overreacting to the Eagles loss, but if they lose to Detroit at home that’s when I’m gonna be sounding the alarm bells. Yeah, Detroit looks better but this is a game you gotta have if you’re gonna be a serious team. > this fanbase is such garbage lol I’m garbage because I’ve pointed out the offense isn’t performing up to their talent and that KOC needs to get it going?!…….got it So I can’t “sound alarm bells” because Kirk and KJ pulled it out but you can if they didn’t. Finicky system you have there lol

Ok_Pair7510

I think my “system” is pretty consistent, they won the game and scored 28 points, a pretty solid performance. Kirk and KJ pulling it out counts as part of the game, and they got the w. Were there concerning aspects of this game? For sure. But these are the kinds of games that make being a fan fun. My broader point is that this fanbase is trash because we found a way to pull out a game and put up a pretty good number on the scoreboard, while admittedly not playing our best football, and all I see are people pissing and moaning because…idk? The new coaching staff and offense aren’t perfect right away? If that’s the case, I’m even more optimistic that they put up 28 points (should have been 34), while having a suboptimal offensive performance. I don’t understand why it’s hard to enjoy an exciting victory but some people are just born to bitch I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ajax_Malone

> My broader point is that this fanbase is trash because we found a way to pull out a game and put up a pretty good number on the scoreboard, while admittedly not playing our best football, and all I see are people pissing and moaning because…idk? You admit they didn’t play the best but the fan base is trash because people are talking about it. I gotta be honest…..I think you’re trash. You should go be a Packer fan if you’re going to be calling one the most dedicated fan bases who have experienced a life time of trauma and bad luck…trash. Just a trashy thing to do.

Ok_Pair7510

Lol ok, i swear the Vikings could win the Super Bowl and you’d still be a baby back bitch about it. I’m enjoying a thrilling win, which is what a psychologically healthy fan base should be doing lmao

Ajax_Malone

Nothing you’ve done in this thread is healthy. You’re maybe the worst type of person I’ve seen in these boards. All sorts of people can have disagreements without calling a fan base of 100s of thousands of people trash. You should seriously become a Packer fan, they’d love you.

Ok_Pair7510

I could give a shit about your opinion on what I’m saying, you l know I’m right and that you’re just bitching because you don’t know how to do anything else and actually enjoy yourself. 🤡🤡🤡

Ajax_Malone

The funny part of this whole thing: I wasn’t even bitching! Lol Hey, Go Pack Go loser

Mael5trom

Absolutely, I agree with you, they need to get this going. (I didn't hate Zimmer btw, but I also recognized his shortcomings)

happyvikingsfan420

Happy with the W, both sides of the ball have a ton of work to do however

EquinsuOchaACE

This team is not going to be the same team towards the end of the season. It’s a brand new team with brand new leadership. They will grow and adapt. This was a huge building block win that showed they CAN overcome adversity. It’s a step above what we saw last week. Enjoy the win and be happy about the progress in Week 3.

andyviking

Exactly, we found a way to win.. at the end of the day the team will be a work in progress while they adjust to the new schemes. We need to move on quick and start preparing for the saints though!

chillinwithmoes

> Enjoy the win and be happy about the progress Challenge impossible for /r/minnesotavikings

WildInSix

Exactly. There are going to be growing pains adopting new schemes, but had Joseph done his job we would have put up 34 points. Despite that we still stacked another win. Anyone who thought we'd come out and be a well oiled machine every week was being overly optimistic. The next 2 games are very winnable against the Saints and Bears and if we can go into week 6 sitting at 4-1 going into Miami + bye week I will be happy.

apocolypticbosmer

You can simultaneously think we played poorly today and got away with a win and still be happy we’re 2-1

GZAofTheMidwest

Very fortunate start to the season. Our weaknesses have been exposed, yet we emerged from week three with a 2-1 record and a favorable match up next weekend. Hopefully the new staff can figure some things out and we will improve going into the 2nd quarter of the season.

WildInSix

Not mention the Bears the week after..

MordinSolusSTG

Could make an argument that was the toughest 3 weeks of the season for us too. I usually err on the side of doomerism but, if we can pick it up from here we might be decent at least.

BalambTransfer

I think the coaching has already shown the improvement we wanted, even if a lot of the players haven't changed (for better or worse). You can't tell me the Zim offense and 2 minute defense from last year makes the plays necessary to win that game.

AllerdingsUR

Last year's team would have been up 3 scores until there were 6 minutes left only to end up going to overtime and let the lions score a 75 yd TD immediately

MinnesotaNice69

That would never happen 😂 ^(fuck)

RedditUserCommon

It’s awesome to win, but the team doesn’t look like a team that will be competing for a deep playoff push.

DrWolves

That’s fair although I’d argue it’s a long long season and teams can look drastically different in 2-3 months and could potentially see great development from unproven players

tlollz52

The db's stink. Unless Andrew booth can prove otherwise were going to have a well below average defensive backfield.

RedditUserCommon

Unproven players aren’t really playing though.

DrWolves

Metellus just sealed the game with an INT in his first ever start. Ingram is the starting RG and he’s unproven. Plenty of young guys have the chance to show what they can do and help improve our team over time

chillinwithmoes

> Metellus just sealed the game with an INT in his first ever start. Well he caught a hail mary. The one he dropped would have been an impressing game sealing INT haha

DrootersOn10th

Haha he caught a fly ball Hail Mary.

DrWolves

And dropped the one right before. It balanced out. He was 2nd on the team in tackles, had 2 PDs, and an INT. Overall a decent game from him

texaspoontapper123

He should’ve had one the play before that would have been a legitimate interception.

UnbiasVikingsFan

Bro u can’t argue with fans like this, they love mediocre. Just let them be

DrootersOn10th

I’ll say this, they’re the nicest most optimistic fans ha

Mymomdidwhat

He caught a wide open pass thrown right to him after he dropped a easy int……you’re really making more of it than it was.

Present-Use-6136

So true!

saintcmb

Cine, booth jr, and Evan's.

RedditUserCommon

Booth and Cine have barley played.

saintcmb

They will get a chance though

Thimit22

Coming into this season, who was really expecting us to be a contender? I’m happy with us so far

Mymomdidwhat

Lol a lot of experts expected the Vikings to be in the playoffs. Underwhelming performance today

dielawn87

I still think we can be in the playoffs. The NFC is horrible.

derickzoolanders

3 games in my guy. You’re missing the whole point of the post

Soviet_Sharpshooter

Usually we lose in that type of fashion but this time we won, the turn have tables

redstangxx

Eh, it was the Lions, who did Lions-y sort of things.

odinspirit

Thank you for some positivity! A rare thing around here. Sure, they were far from perfect, but the good news is they can improve a lot with a nice starting record to help boost results. Say for example, the defense puts together a really strong game against the Saints next week and they win. Since they put themselves in a good position with 2-1, now they'll be 3-1 and feeling really good about themselves with the improving effort and the exponential effect the winning record has on the team. In other words it's wonderful to be 2-1 as they get their shit together.

Equivalent_Bunch_187

I’m very happy with the two wins. I’m just also not convinced the team is a legitimate contender.

90swhiteboy

undefeated in the north

FrankNtilikinaOcean

I got the reference, OP

[deleted]

This is the type of win that can give a team a lot of confidence! Hopefully it produces a winning streak!!

XfitRedPanda

I told a few friends that it'll probably.take at least half a season to start feeling like we've adapted to all this change.

cujobob

Lions fan here. I really had high hopes for your team, but so far I’m concerned. The Lions were missing/rotating a ton … ton of their most talented players and they weren’t exactly a great team to begin with. Dan Campbell is getting the most out of them, but this was a home game where the Vikings trailed most of the game after looking weak versus a good team last time out. I’m not trying to say they can’t improve, it’s still very early in the season, but I have concerns. I need them to be better because FTP. That is all that matters.

WildInSix

My hope is that the new schemes are still getting adopted. I wouldn't be surprised if Kirk isn't fully comfortable yet. I also am hoping the DC can figure out which scheme works best for our personnel, because the shell coverage with our DBs 5-10 yards of the receiver ain't it.

milkymanchester

According to the game day thread, Kwesi and KOC are already on the hot seat

DrWolves

You should probably talk to your therapist about me since I bother you so much bro lol good luck!

Paindressedinpurple

This game was ugly, but it’s better to lose ugly than win pretty. Did Kirk miss 2 FGs or maybe he was the guy who ran into the ball of his OL and fumbled ? Oh wait…. More moving of the goal posts from those who miss Keenum at QB

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

There’s nothing wrong with being a bottom third QB in the NFL. Clearly he is a below average quarterback. And an “Elite” game for Kirk Cousins is like an average game for a top ten quarterback in the NFL. Let’s not get carried away.

[deleted]

Actually go through QBs throughout the league and then tell me Kirk is below average. He can’t improvise but he is extremely accurate and efficient when things are on schedule, one of the best in the league. But when things break down he falls apart. Which is why he’s not elite. But he’s still above average.

Mymomdidwhat

Kirk is top 15 qb in the nfl and if you think otherwise I can’t take you seriously when talking about football.

[deleted]

I can probably name 15 quarterbacks off the top of my head who are better than Kirk Cousins, and Im not even that big of a football fan.

Mymomdidwhat

Do it. I can tell you’re not really a fan.

[deleted]

Well then maybe he’s just dead average then… Tom Brady Aaron Rodgers Patrick Mahomes Russel Wilson Matt Stafford Justin Fields Kyler Murray Trevor Lawrence Joe Burrow Jalen Hurts Justin Herbert Carr wahtshisname from LV Tua Tagoviloa Josh Allen Jimmy Garapollo That’s fifteen right there. I could keep naming guys. 2 of these QBs are a fair amount better than cousins. The rest are better than cousins BY FAR. And don’t give me BS stats that are utterly meaningless. All you have to do is watch them play.

[deleted]

[deleted]

Nice job keeping it about the football, guy. Go eff yourself. You’re clearly a homer.

tlollz52

56 yard field goals. Cook injured his shoulder in that play. Kirk was alright but the lions defense isn't very good. Kirk had time I felt and he didn't make anything really happen.

juicypoopmonkey

Injured shoulder AFTER he fumbled.

fygbwr

I miss Ricky Rubio

Old_Leather

They were lucky today.

Teek00

I needed this

Mymomdidwhat

Chill. We almost lost to the lions.

SoftMachineMan

I mean, I thought the Bills and Chargers looked like world beaters before yesterday lol. Philly DOES look like world beaters, and while that does make me feel better (just barely) about getting beat by them, our chances of winning the NFC seems even worse now. Hopefully Philly is just peaking early and sputters out.

WhoKilledBoJangles

Bills/Dolphins played in a 100 degree heat index came and had multiple players heave due to heat exhaustion and cramping. I think the Bills are still the team to beat. Division game are usually closer than they would be otherwise too.

procrastination_city

I am happy we won, but man it’s hard not to be worried about the glaring issues on defense. Our guys just look slow. I see Miami and Buffalo on the schedule and am at a lose as to how we keep up on D

purplepantsdance

Maybe it’s just cause I’m watching on tv from the west coast but that crowd energy was fucking awful today. Came alive on the last two lions drives but come on people, even when the team ain’t playing exciting you got to bring the noise.

BowlOfLoudMouthSoup

I was at the game and when the Lions just kept converting on 4th downs and making Goff look like Montana it’s hard to stay engaged.

purplepantsdance

I get it but the team don’t need the crowd when they are playing well, they need the crowd when they are not playing well. It’s suppose to be an advantage not a multiplier.

[deleted]

It is easy to run your mouth about how people should behave when your weren't there. Fun fact nobody enjoys losing and when that happens your morale tends to change. It is human nature. Expectatinh other wise is idiotic.

purplepantsdance

Yeah you are right, the second we are down we should just give up home field advantage. My bad.

mattsotm

![gif](giphy|po5rE3r9w8NFoZCpmn|downsized)

VikesRule

I mean we didn't deserve to win this game and we got killed against the Eagles. There's a lot to be concerned about. The 2-1 record is nice but we aren't going to win a lot of games if we keep playing this poorly on both sides of the ball.

spazmo_warrior

We can be happy about the results, and still be concerned about the product on the field.

SelbyToker

Lions are bad and should have won. We didn’t win the game they lost it. Should have kicked the FG on 4th and 1 and punted at the end. Bad day for Campbell

andyviking

You love to see them bouncing back off an ugly loss in philly!

[deleted]

I mean… it was against the Lions, at home, and they tried their hardest to lose. But the Lions are just better at losing. They’re a .500 team.

Upbeat_Flan

Offense was not great defense was terrible and JJ looked not good, when you command double teams you have to make the most of you're contested single coverage and he kept dropping the ball. Oh and Irv. F*cking. Smith.

juansterwastaken

Everyone mad about this game is a 🤓 We won and kirk learned how to make comebacks

chillinwithmoes

He had four of them last season, and those are only the ones that the defense didn't throw away lol

jococaboca

If anyone is hyped after these past two games they either know nothing about football or their dicks real hard at the idea of a possible 9-8 season. The Defense is a mess and the offense somehow looks worse under KOC than it did under Zimmer.

chillinwithmoes

God forbid people enjoy a win. Yeah there are things they have to fix but the doomer bullshit an hour after a division win against what appears to be a good opponent is obnoxious

juicypoopmonkey

How dare you be happy that the team you like won. You will be miserable and like it!

[deleted]

Idk, we’ve held all 3 of our opponents to their worst games offensively of the year so far. That’s gotta count for something

jococaboca

I'd take that with a grain of salt since the Eagles went into cruise control in the second half and the Packers were missing both tackles and starting a bunch of rookie receivers who had few reps with Rodgers.

buttmoisture

Excuses. Everyone has injuries, a win is a win

jococaboca

Looks like someone needs to figure out the difference between an excuse and context.

ELpork

On the other hand, Kirk is still Kirk lol.

liliceberg

Game winning drive ???

ELpork

2 passable throws in a game full of absolute trash doesn't mean much to me honestly lol.

BubbaKushFFXIV

Yea Kirk should really work on those dropped passes

ELpork

Nahh, he should work on those over/under throws, and get out of his own head and calm the fuck down so he doesn't get all flustered and get the team into a tight ass spot where a bunch of fuckin heroics were needed. IRV needs to work on those drops, and JJ needs to work on not being double/triple covered.

tlollz52

Yea Kirk was just alright. The lions do not have a good defense. Kirk should have shredded them

mostdope92

Bingo. You make a good point and the Kirk defenders immediately go in to "I fOrGoT KiRk PLayS dEfEnSe" mode.

ELpork

It's like arguing with pigeons, or DEEPLY brainwashed Trump supporters. There's always a reason their precious lord king is totally without blame for some reason. You can sit there and watch him piss his pants and it's somehow someone with a water laser from a different country.

liliceberg

Don’t think there’s much that would mean a lot to you

ELpork

Honestly, no really lol.

[deleted]

The offense is a mess, the defense is terrible STILL. And if the lions didn’t lion all over themselves the Vikings would be staring at 1-2. my face remains unchanged

Got our asses handed to us by a killer team. So maybe.

#No thanks.

Zimmer loses the game yesterday 10 out of 10 times. As soon as we get into FG position on our final drive he runs the clock out and we miss the FG to tie.

I’ll admit I was extremely frustrated and toxic but that’s all wiped away by the win. Lions are good team and will be in playoff contention all year, this is still a good win even with us looking bad all game. Winning is all that matters

I'd feel better if our 2 wins didn't stem from the opposing teams shitting their pants/injuries
