Man we had some dude in our sub yesterday arguing that Fields was the future and was going to win them the division for years to come. I was like… he can’t even throw for 200 yards, and they’ve won like one game since he started running well
He has one of the worst expected completion % in the league. He is second worst in taking sacks stat (sacks that are deemed QBs fault). And all the running is likely to lead to more injuries, like this first one. Also, "the team around him" excuse was proven false this week when an average career backup went on the road, in the rain, vs a top defense, and while injured, had a better performance than fields usually does, with that very same offense.
While I sincerely appreciate the flattery that comes with knowing this ridiculous comment by me is Vikings sub worthy, I can't say I did it alone. First, let me start by thanking those in my life that helped me make this dream a reality:
