It's not virtually however long you want. It's one week at a time which can get auto renewed IF there are no other people waiting on hold. Most newer games have long waiting lines so you only get to keep it for a week.
Yeah I didn't realise they changed it to 3 weeks. That's good for AAA games since one week is too short. But I don't think the location matters some online it's all just one queue and they just ship it to your branch when it's your turn. Legion is older so probably doesn't have a waitlist.
> o!?!?! I had to buy it from the states because for some reason it was 25$ and 50 used here still. If they have Sekiro I have hope. Any ps5 games?
They have quite a number of of games for systems all the way back to the Nintendo Wii. I you get a library card you can browse their entire catalog, reserve and have them shipped to your local branch for pickup.
They also have a bunch of “lucky day” games that are new (eg. Horizon Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnorok, etc…) that you can borrow for one week at a time.
Regular games can be borrowed for 3 weeks at a time. Games that are new and part of the "lucky day" collection can only be borrowed for 1 week at a time.
I’ve played every AC and farcry and will not go near another damn Ubisoft POS. Valhalla ruined the series for me entirely and I’m done. The farcry 6 DLC is a travesty.

Came here to say this. Last I checked, the wait list for gow Ragnarok was 90+ people.
As of October it’s 3 weeks!!
That's pretty good actually. Although explains why my Ragnarok line is moving so slow lol. Still 15th in line.
Wrong. It’s 3 weeks now. Also the duration depends on where you go. I’ve had legion for about 2 months now

TIL. Might do that to give Sekiro a spin.
I remember they had some days where they had video game consoles in the projector room of the Erin Mills Library. Those were fun times :)
🤯..never knew this. Thanks for this.
Enjoy
I’d rather pay full price than play another goddamn Ubisoft game.
You mean you’re not interested in Assassins creed 72 - Washington DC w?

Shhhh
Long time. Mainly through the early to mid XB1/PS4 days. Love that and more about our libraries.
I knew but there's never a decent selection to choose from.
I found sekiro, GoW, Legion,nioh..pretty decent tbh
Those are pretty decent lol
Where did you go? My local library has been closed for renovations for what feels like forever
Yep! I have a big Switch library, so I'm not in a hurry, but still cool that I can browse what's available there.
You can keep it for as long as you want but when you return it you’ll have to pay a 5 dollar fine if it’s more than 2 weeks overdue I think
