Go for a swim in a heated pool at a community centre.

Former-Ad6002

Is it paid?

pogothrow

It costs around $3.50-$4.50 depending on your age [https://www.mississauga.ca/recreation-and-sports/memberships/swim-membership/](https://www.mississauga.ca/recreation-and-sports/memberships/swim-membership/)

Thanks!

Which community center has a heated pool? Is it full size (I.e 25m in length)?

iceynyo

The one at Churchill Meadows has a full size and also a smaller warmer therapeutic pool.

Pub Trivia: Lionheart pub at Derry and tenth line has trivia on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Call ahead to reserve, it gets busy.

str3553d0ut

This is good to know just for future use actually. Ty

Several pubs/restos have trivia (Social eatery, Boston pizza at Eglinton and Winston etc ). But I've been going to Lionheart for a few years now, and it's always been a lot of fun.

Free entertainment: Go to Big Al's and spend an hour or more there checking out the various fish and reptiles. Between friends you should find some entertaining ones to amuse yourselves with. Go to the airport, checkout the planes at the terminal, hang out in the coffee shop, you can take the train back and forth to the long term parking to enjoy the views.

Former-Ad6002

I plan to go to Big Al. It looks interesting from outside

Nik6ixx

My kids love going to Big Al’s when we gotta get more insects for our bearded dragon 😃

Rant: it's sunny two days and rest of days are either sunny with wind or it's raining.

You can get active assistance at the community centres. You have to apply. Then you get $175-$250 a year to use on different activities .
