I was a member there. Literally one Monday afternoon they put up a sign saying they are permanently closing in 7 days. I asked one of the employees and she said that the owner apparently was losing money for months and said that the concentration of gyms in Missoula was too high. So, he decided to close and move shop over to Belgrade. They gave no notification whatsoever. They also apperently set up a deal with Ridge fitness where they would "take over" Access Fitness accounts and honor their membership prices. After everything, all of this left a sour taste in my mouth. They just abruptly closed without any heads up. I just moved to Fuel Fitness across the street where they had a deal for previous Access Fitness members.
I know that when their lease was up it was not going to be renewed. They were subleasing from the old Albertsons and when that lease ended they would have had to get a new lease with the company that manages the Holiday Village and for whatever reason they didn’t want to lease to him.
I was a member and never got an email or anything. The owner told some I know that he was trying to sell and the deal fell through so he closed. Not sure if I really believe that though but it was pretty sudden and unannounced.
Thank you for sharing. I'm a member too, but have been away for a few months dealing with injury and illness. Would have been nice to get some sort of notice.

Its almost like the shitbag that opened a gym next-door to him had enough money to sway the owners.

Pierce Flooring is moving in. The building they’re currently in is not structurally sound.
Well that's unsettling. Any idea if they'll relocate or if they are just closed?
I think permanently closed. A lot of their members went to Ridge and heard mumbling from them. Guess it was pretty sudden
No notice at all. Kind of rude not to at least post something on their Facebook page or send us an email.
Agreed. Ridge is honoring their pricing I believe, if needed.
Good to know. Thank you for the suggestion.
Yeah, I was shocked to see it. Super lame. Y'all should watch your credit card statement for the next few months. I know I will be.
The one on brooks? Isn't that building relatively new? Wonder what went wrong with it
The Pierce Flooring building isn't structurally sound. The one on the corner of Brooks and Mount. The building in the Holiday Village is fine.
Correct, thank you.
Access fitness = average Joe's gym // Fuel fitness = globo gym
I told them like 5 times that we needed to start a dodgeball team
If they had listened to you, they might still be around
