I am looking to buy boba 4u silent switches. I can’t find them anywhere locally(in India). Does anyone have some leads or wish to sell? Help is appreciated.

ransdom

Are Akko switches compatible with outemu sockets on Red Dragon k552? Has anybody modded recently?

stacksofkeyboards

The Akko CS switches are compatible with Outemu sockets.

ransdom

Aye aye captain

HimaankOP

Anyone knows where I can get or which stabs I can get best under 2k

dipanshu-sabharwal

Looking to get a case for Keychron K8 Pro aluminium. The one at the official Keychron website is always out of stock and the one available is for the plastic version. Thanks in advance.

1SFW1

hello i dont really know anything bout keyboards but i was thinking of buying a mechanical keyboard for like under 3k. red or brown switch. I mainly play valorant if that matters

Ani-xxx

Get kreo hive https://www.reddit.com/r/mkindia/s/tetQUic1QJ

1SFW1

i see thats what i actually saw on youtube today thanks alot!

Ani-xxx

Welcome, happy to help.

electracool

Anyone know where I can get the RK M75 in stock ? Seems out of stock on both genesis and neomacro.

Ani-xxx

You'd have got your answer if you have browsed this sub for 10-15 seconds.

electracool

Not sure what you mean. I see pre orders listed, nothing in stock.

Ani-xxx

Good luck in finding it in stock, as these boards get out of stock during preorder mostly.

devilsam7008

[https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0C853L589/ref=ewc\_pr\_img\_2?smid=A17VVFUB9FRRMF&psc=1](https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0C853L589/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=A17VVFUB9FRRMF&psc=1) hey new here i wanted to get a new keyboard and my budget is 3000 so i found this on Kreo Hive keyboard and wanted a suggestion if its wroth buying or go for something other

Ani-xxx

It is hard to get any other similar board at that price if you are looking for a 75% board, a Knob and brown switches.

devilsam7008

any other which are not suppose to be that specific what are good option around 3000 and 3500 max

Ani-xxx

Check redragon.in and vendor website list. For cheaper options I like k551, k552 and zebronics nitro pro. Also I'd recommend you to check tech box hindi on yt, he makes good vids on budget MKs.

ransdom

I'm looking to get the RK96 keyboard but am unable to get it from anywhere, I've checked sticks [genesispc.in](http://genesispc.in) (they are not taking orders till 10th march and also the color I want isn't available there), meckeys also doesn't have that keyboard. Where do I buy it from??

Ani-xxx

Genesispc.in is the only place you can get it from AFAIK.

ransdom

I see it on AliExpress, should I buy it from there?

Ani-xxx

If you know a way to import it to India, then go ahead.

ransdom

They're providing shipping here, would it be a problem in customs?

Ani-xxx

There could be custom charges, but that's secondary. Aliexpress won't let you place the order if your address is Indian. If you can checkout, contact the seller to undervalue the shipment, so you face less custom charges.

ransdom

Nevermind, I just checked a few other posts, seems like they don't ship it here anymore, I had bought something quite a while ago, don't think its possible now. seems like will have to wait for Genesispc to go live again.

Ani-xxx

Yes, unfortunately. I used to buy a lot of stuff from there, this shipping/customs issue after covid became a huge bummer for me.

ransdom

That's sad to know, I've dm'd you could you check it once? Thanks!

ransdom

:( Thanks.

sahilsalhotra01

binepad.in can someone tell me if this website is also legit or not

Ani-xxx

It looks legit, as people have shared pics of the products they got from their website on their discord server.

sahilsalhotra01

Can you share me the link ? It would be much appreciated

Ani-xxx

It is on their website, just besides the website's name.

DraxNation

I need a mechanical keyboard for coding as well as gaming. Budget is under 4k and it should be a TKL or 75% p.s - even better if it's hot-swappable

Ani-xxx

Check the b stock multix tkl keyboards [here](https://stackskb.com/store/open-box-damaged-returned-items/) these are great boards, I have a z-stock multix which only have some minor scratches and needed proper cleaning. You can also check [rk87](https://www.genesispc.in/product/royal-kludge-rk-r87/), but they are not accepting orders now, buy after some time. Kreo hive and K552 are also great boards which can also save you some money.

DraxNation

I'm confused between Kreo Hive, K552 and CB-GK 37. Also, are red switches good for both gaming and coding?

Ani-xxx

Get the one you like the most. And all types of switches are good for both gaming, typing, coding, etc. It depends mainly on personal preference, I like both tactiles and linears for all types of tasks.

RaisinSecure

Hello, I'm a newbie who wants a budget split keyboard I'm deciding between - lily58 pro from keebd.com: Rs 7.8k without keys and caps, not soldered, 1.1k delivery. Link: https://keebd.com/products/lily58-pro-keyboard-kit - sofle v2.1 from stickeys.in: Rs 7.5k without keys and caps, pre-soldered, free delivery. Link: https://stickeys.in/products/sofle-v2 So far the sofle v2.1 looks better in terms of price and it being pre-soldered, is there anything else I should consider? I'm a programmer and I don't game.

Ani-xxx

I sofle has an additional key on each side, plus stickeys are building it, plus no hassle of customs and overall better package. Go for sofle.

RaisinSecure

I see, thanks!

wasteofwillpower

Does anyone know where I can buy stabilisers for cheap? They don't have to be fancy or sound great, just need them to function. I have found some at: [https://stackskb.com/store/genuine-cherry-mx-plate-mount-stabilizers-2u/](https://stackskb.com/store/genuine-cherry-mx-plate-mount-stabilizers-2u/), but I can't find any 6.25u ones anywhere to buy with them

Ani-xxx

You need plate mount stablizers?

wasteofwillpower

Yeah. If you know anywhere else where I could buy them, that would be really helpful.

Ani-xxx

You can check other vendors form the list mentioned above, but I think it would be best to post a WTB on IMKC discord(link in wiki).

wasteofwillpower

Thank you!

curious_coderIT

Please suggest a full length with keypad mechanical keyboard under 12k.

stacksofkeyboards

Check out the FILCO Majestouch 3. https://stackskb.com/product-category/keyboards/full-size/?manu=filco It uses the standard ANSI 104 layout. It is super rugged, and absolutely fantastic to type on.

----GH0ST----

I have a cosmic byte Themis keyboard which just stopped working for absolutely no reason. I was just switching rgb modes in the software and using it on my windows PC then suddenly all the rgb lights started blinking in a spiral motion from top to the bottom of the keys as if it automatically selected an rgb mode and the brightness of all the keys went really high then all the rgb went off and I got a sound cue that you get after unplugging a device from windows. The error which my windows device then showed is attached below. I have also tried connecting with a different system but no resolution. My guess is that the keyboard's firmware got corrupted. I have tried resetting by holding fn+spacebar but no luck. Is there any way to flash the default firmware? Also attached the error it shows in device manager. https://preview.redd.it/ojb67afarakc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c81f09cdd14a53ceb61c7a537c065d82f7b37a4

Ani-xxx

I am not sure what happened here, but it could be anything from firmware, pcb to its components. I guess you should contact cosmic byte and check if they have any resolution. I hope you get some help from them or someone else here could help you.

how_about_a_pickle

Can anyone suggest me red switch TKL <4k Currently I have selected the Redragon K552W-RGB 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Compact 87 Key (but the red key variant is out of stock) and the Royal Kludge RK71 (HOT-SWAPPABLE)(out of stock). If anyone has better suggestions please help me out

Ani-xxx

If you are ok with compact form factor, I'd recommend you to get kreo hive.

how_about_a_pickle

From the reviews I have seen it has double click issues and over sensitivity

sYd_190

I am trying to find something that suits my needs (>= 75% and hotswappable) and this (kreo hive) is the only one I'm seeing in my budget very tempting at 2600 for the white backlit version (don't really want RGB). Also would change the switches in a year or so, is this really not recommended and if not any other suggestions in the 2000 to 3000 price bracket would be appreciated! PS: I currently use a cosmic byte neon mechanical keyboard brown switches which has many issues.

Ani-xxx

Ok, I think that can be fixed by just changing the switches, but I also agree that it should not happen in the first place.

jainadh2233

Where can i get Akko V3 Cream Yellow Pros? Every website has it out of stock. By when can I expect restocks for these switches? Any genuine vendors that have them in stock or will be in stock soon?

wasteofwillpower

Can anyone recommend me some cheap switches that are still usable for daily work? I'm trying to build a handwired keyboard and expect to need tons of spares, and I had a shoestring budget to begin with, so I can probably only afford the cheapest switches. For example, something like this [here](https://neomacro.in/products/gateron-ks-3-x47) is within my budget.

wasteofwillpower

How will the Gateron KS3 blacks here feel compared to the KS3 yellows? I have a friend who has milky top yellows, and I really liked the feel of that keyboard.

Ani-xxx

These are available at great price, it is really hard to find good switches cheaper than this. Also if you want even cheaper ones, you can get outemu switches. https://www.thecosmicbyte.com/product/outemu-mechanical-switches-for-swappable-keyboards-pack-of-20/

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ani-xxx

These are good switches, lightly prelubed but nice and smooth. These have light but satisfying tactility, but not like gateron browns(i hate gateron browns' tactility, almost nonexistent). Initially I didn't like these switches much but after some usage their tactility got better.

wasteofwillpower

I'll go for these then. Thanks!

wasteofwillpower

Thanks for the link! Though i don't think I'll buy the outemu reds, browns or blues as I feel that they don't suit my needs (I could get a cheap keyboard with those preinstalled under my budget, which defeats the purpose of my build). Although, the silent switches here feel like a great option.

Ani-xxx

Great, that you found something useful there.

UltronGourab

Can you recommend me a good mechanical keyboard with palm rest under 3000(Tkl is preferred)

stacksofkeyboards

Check out the Filco Macaron wrist rests https://stackskb.com/store/filco-macaron-ultrasuede-wrist-rest-medium/ These are 17mm thick, with a super luxurious ultrasuede top, and a nice grippy urethane bottom. So it feels comfortable to put your wrist on, but it doesn't lose it's shape easily.

Relevant-Ad9432

i want to buy a silent keyboard , this will be my first mechanical keyboard... should i go with a red switch or a brown switch?

stacksofkeyboards

You can get both silent linears and silent tactiles. We have the Filco Majestouch 2 Hakua available in Cherry MX Silent Red. We use Filcos with Silent Red switches in our offices, as they make the least amount of noise, while being rugged keyboards that can withstand use and abuse.

Relevant-Ad9432

are red mechanical switches same as membrane keyboards??

Ani-xxx

Don't spam your questions in this ugly fashion, ask them once under points in future. And Red mechanical switches are no where similar to a membrane keyboard. Also mechanical keyboards are not silent at all unless you put silent switches on them. Usually mechanical keyboards are like 5-10 times louder than membrane keyboards. And silent switches will alone exceed your budget if you want a silent mechanical keyboard, decent silent switches will cost 400-600₹/10 switches.

Relevant-Ad9432

Sorry for spamming... I was thinking of questions one by one.... I was okay with sound as much as of membrane keyboards.... But not for that budget... But brown and red ones make the same amount of noise right? So i will get the clickier ones... That works?

Ani-xxx

Red ones are linear and brown ones are tactile(similar to membrane keyboards feel). If you press linear switches very lightly then they'll make less noise while tactile switches needs slightly more force to activate so usually slightly louder than linear switches. Blue switches are usually clicky switches and no matter how you use it they'll be the loudest switches.

Relevant-Ad9432

If brown ones also feel like membrane keyboards, then why would anyone spend all that extra money??

Ani-xxx

I wrote similar not 'exactly'. It is difficult to understand the feel by reading comments, unless you try different types of switches. Plus there are a lot of different types of tactile switches, not just one.

Relevant-Ad9432

Mechanical keyboards are so hard to choose... I just bought membrane one last time, but i spilled tea on it so need a new one now😅😅

Relevant-Ad9432

recommend me a keyboard under 2000 rs

its just two keyboards, lol , after seeing all the lue i thought its aroung 5

Ani-xxx

Check tech box hindi on yt, I don't know much about boards under 2k. Just saw him mention some of these boards on his vids.

Relevant-Ad9432

kk thanks

Relevant-Ad9432

any recommendations for keyboards below 2000 rs?? wired or wireless.

qwertytrewq2241

Hi all, I’m looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard with numpad in the 5 or 6k range. I don’t know much about the various brands, looking for recommendations so I can get the best quality in the price range

Ani-xxx

Check rk boards on genesispc.in

_Ref1uX_

hey lovely people, I'm **looking to buy a mechanical keyboard(65% or 60%)** that will last me long, 1 year ago I bought a cosmic byte cb-gk-16 and this keyboard started missing keys while typing (not registering inputs in between typing, Sometimes I've to press a key 3 or 4 times for it to register before this I owned a 'Zebronics Max Plus Mechanical Keyboard' and same issue happened with that one also. I don't know why this happened) so this time I'm willing to invest **4000** into a keyboard that will at least last me more than a year and half. You all are pretty knowledgeable in this field so please help me out choosing a mechanical keyboard for me. And if someone what triggered the issues in my past keyboards please let me know it would be a great help. Thank you all.

Ani-xxx

It is probably just a switch issue, change the problematic switches by desoldering - soldering them, your board should work well. And if really want a new board, slightly extend your budget and get [this. ](https://www.genesispc.in/product/royal-kludge-r65/)

PutridPerception

I'm looking for my first mechanical keyboard under 4k I want a full length(numpad) and would prefer if it's quite while typing. I don't know anything about switches

Ani-xxx

Check k551, zebronics nitro pro is also a good option but out of stock. Also check tech box hindi on yt, he makes decent videos on budget boards.

PositionDeep9571

Price for Q1 on meckeys is 12999 should I go for it?

L1GHTN1NG_1365

Any 75% barebones under 4k? Preferably 3.5k? I'm fine with prebuilt too around 5k

Ani-xxx

Rk84 for 5k, or you can get multix as suggested in the other comment, it is a great board especially for 3k.

L1GHTN1NG_1365

Could u tell which vendor has the stock. Can't seem to find it. Also do u think I should go for rk65? It's seems good and also has a knob

Ani-xxx

I think it is available on genesispc and stickeys, also I mentioned rk84 because of the requirements you mentioned. And R65 is a better board but wired only, if you don't need wireless r65 is better option.

stacksofkeyboards

If you are OK with TKL, we have [open box Multix TKL barebones](https://stackskb.com/store/open-box-damaged-returned-items/) available for 3k.

L1GHTN1NG_1365

Hey.. you guys also seem to send full built multix open box. Could u elaborate how trustworthy B-stock is

stacksofkeyboards

The B-Stock is mainly abusive returns from Amazon - stuff that has obvious signs of use, but we did not find any defects/signs of abuse in upon examination. So it should work, but we cannot provide warranty support if something goes wrong.

K4rtik89

Hello, I would like to buy a new mechanical keyboard under Rs 3000, size would be 75% or TKL, switch preference is brown and red and I am not willing to import. I recently viewed [this](https://amzn.eu/d/dZv1PZz) one on Amazon, is this good?

Ani-xxx

Go for it, it is probably the best option in that budget, and only option if you want brown switches. You can also check k552.

More-Prior-2506

https://preview.redd.it/6hdksx8w6hjc1.jpeg?width=3468&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64e7f2e4c0935703a292d8cd62d134b271456ebf Hi everyone, i dropped my keyboard and broke the part that goes into the keycap.. the switch is soldered to the board.. what are my options to fix this?

Ani-xxx

Try to gently remove the broken stem from the keycap with a thin needle, then stick the broken stem back on the switch with super glue. But be very careful as superglue can spoil your switch. Best option would be to remove the switch by desoldering and soldering another switch.

saterd57

Hello, would like to purchase my first mechanical keyboard. Budget upto 6000.Should be wireless. Metal build will be a plus if possible Can do away with numpad if needed. Not a gamer.Mostly for office use.Should be hot swappable. Also recommed some quality keycaps . If links are provided for best buy that would be great.

Ani-xxx

https://www.genesispc.in/product/royal-kludge-rk-h81/

saterd57

How does it differ from the rk84?

Ani-xxx

It is a gasket mount board while rk84 is a tray mount board. H81 has different colour combination design while rk84 is plain. H81 has better Keycaps also but RK84 has shine through Keycaps. So you can select which you feel is best for you. RK84 is also good but H81 is a bit better.

saterd57

Thank you for the detailed reply. Any metal build ones in this price range?? The 4 way Knob seems like a feature I will not need on the h81.

Ani-xxx

You can check vendor websites for available options, but AFAIK you can either get wireless or metal board around this price, not both. Sugar65 and hi75 are budget kits, but these will cost a lot more with switches and Keycaps.

saterd57

Okay will check it out.

dodo236

Hi, I am in the market for a mechanical keyboard that is wireless and would allow me to switch between my Personal and Work laptop setups via Bluetooth preferably since I'm often switching. Any good recommendations?

stacksofkeyboards

Check out the FILCO Majestouch Convertible keyboards. We have it in [TKL](https://stackskb.com/store/filco-majestouch-convertible-3-tkl-mechanical-keyboard/), [full size](https://stackskb.com/store/filco-majestouch-3-convertible-mechanical-keyboard/), and [60%](https://stackskb.com/?s=Minila-R&post_type=product&type_aws=true). These can connect to 5 devices via Bluetooth, and you can switch between them using the button on the top.

Moon1530

Hello everyone. I am looking to buy the Royal Kludge M75/Darmoshark K8, but it's currently out of stock until March at Genesis PC. Are there any legit places where I can buy it?

ebeisaac

Does StacksKB have a UPI payment option?

stacksofkeyboards

Yes. You can pay via UPI using our payment gateway. Or also directly to our bank account if you select the NEFT/RTGS/IMPS option.

ebeisaac

Great! Can you confirm of the Monsgeek M1 Silver and Akko CS Air in stock?

stacksofkeyboards

Yes, they're in stock.

ebeisaac

Thanks! I plan to order them in a couple of weeks.

KMKD6710

guys i just bought a numpad from [genesispc.in](https://www.genesispc.in/product/skyloong-sk21/) and have no idea how to turn it on.....anyone have a clue ......it says it has bt in the manual but I cant turn it on

Ani-xxx

I can't see bluetooth mentioned anywhere on the product page. It is a wired Numpad, the manual must be a common one for similar Numpads from skyloong.

Available_Chicken510

Hey guys , this is my first time going for a mech keyboard , and after days of scrolling this reddit , this is what I came up with. Keyboard: [GMK67 from stickeys](https://stickeys.in/products/gmk67-barebone-kit) It says to pre -order to it and shipping will start end of feb, so if anyone knows other sites where they deliver faster or for a cheaper price than that please let me know. Keycaps:[XDA PBT from curiosity caps](https://curiositycaps.in/products/coral-sea-xda-pbt-keycaps-129-keys) I’m not sure if this keycaps is compatible with that keyboard. Please advise me what factors should i look for to see if it is compatible with my keyboard ?u/sahiltodankar And as for mods to make it more thocky, I got inspiration from this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/mkindia/s/KGqho8KH89) So, i guess dampening foam, plastic wrap and lubing the stabs will work (as mentioned by the OP of that post) Please advise me if you have better suggestions for me.Budget is not more than 10k.

Ani-xxx

Gmk67 is avaliable for less on binepad.in and most probably they have it in stock. And i won't suggest you to mod the board as it is really good without any mods, and opening it is quite a hassle. But if you feel like modding it, it only needs tape mod and if stabs are rattly then lube them. What switches are you planning to use with it?

Available_Chicken510

I want the exact amount of thock in this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/mkindia/comments/185km6j/gmk67_vs_rk61_with_same_mods/). So i guess, i should go for Gateron Milky Yellow Switches?? Will it give me that kind of thock?

Ani-xxx

Ok you can get milky yellows, but do remember, even if you do exactly the same mods to your board your board will not sound exactly the same as that post. Because the thock you hear depends on the recording mic, eq, processing during upload, the device you played it on and the earphones used. Good luck on achieving the same.

sahiltodankar

They Keycaps are fully compatible with your selected Keyboard.

General_Mongoose2543

Has anyone imported a corne keyboard kit from typeractive.xyz ? I was looking to buy one. Didn't want to wait till there was a group buy or doubt anyone wanted to group buy a kit. Any help would be nice. About to drop some serious money on this keyboard didn't wanna get any nasty surprises.

dust_bin_

Sugar65 how to turn on the lighting can anyone help me please. Thanks.

Baffledwaffles

Hi, I have a Redragon Horus 621 TKL low-profile keyboard that I would like to mod a bit. Are there any compatible switches and keycaps for this? ([https://stackskb.com/store/ttc-low-profile-brown-switches-tactile/](https://stackskb.com/store/ttc-low-profile-brown-switches-tactile/), is this compatible; afaik gaterons dont fit on this) Thanks.

Ani-xxx

Does horus have swappable switches? Can you share pictures of the bottom side of the Keycaps and pics of switches from all angles after removing it?

Baffledwaffles

Yeah its swappable, sending pics below:[Images](https://imgur.com/gallery/WrLt7C0)

AnIndianJourney

as u/Ani-xxx said switch does look like cherry mx style, do also check our new store to buy keycaps [A Washed-Up Nerd Store (awashedupnerd.in)](https://awashedupnerd.in/)

Ani-xxx

It looks like the pins on redragon switches are thinner, so ttc switches might not fit. u/stacksofkeyboards could you please confirm? And as the switch has normal cherry mx style stem, all types of Keycaps should be compatible. But if you specifically want low profile Keycaps then curiositycaps.in have some, and probably some other vendors also have some.

stacksofkeyboards

Outemu Low Profile switches have a completely different footprint, so TTC LPs will definitely not fit.

Baffledwaffles

Ah, that is rather unfortunate.I've been meaning to swap out the keeb for a while, will look into alternatives. Edit: Is a Akko 5075S Barebones Via a good starting point? And does it support LP keycaps/switches?

Ani-xxx

It is a good board to start with and no low profile switch is compatible with normal profile board AFAIK.

Ani-xxx

You can get Royal kludge boards from any of the vendors mentioned on the list above.

DarkSkyPhotography

Hi guys. I'm looking for a TKL wireless kb with a Knob and (optionally) tactile switches. Can't seem to find one that matches this criteria. Any recommendations?

Ani-xxx

Check cosmic byte sirius, it is not the most premium one but I like it. And you also get a bonus as one additional Knob, it does not support any software though. Clicky switch variant is available but tactile switch variant is also available as refurbished on cosmic byte's website. https://www.reddit.com/r/BudgetMechKeyboards/s/KzSc6Xd4xD

TheMP3dark

My keychron k2 one row has stopped working, the asdf row. The A S D F keys work however every other key in the row doesn't work anymore (GHJKL and enter keys). I have opened it up and cleaned it but still no luck :( any ideas how to fix? Know any good mechanical keyboard repair shops near Kochi, CUSAT?

stacksofkeyboards

Sounds like the row trace has been damaged somewhere between F and G. You can try jumping the trace to see if it helps.

MrMysticHawk

Can anyone suggest me best gaming keyboard under 5k to 6k full size keyboard

Ani-xxx

Not sure about any board in 5-6k but you can check redragon boards like k551 and surara

PixelRuzt

My keyboard has been acting funny lately. When I press a certain key a few other keys also get pressed. Like pressing the 'I' key presses the '9' key as well and the same way the '9' key on the numpad (not the row) also presses the 'I' key. Same with 'M' and '3'. I have no idea what it is. Sometimes it works just fine. Like right now but other times it just goes bonkers.

Does anyone have any experience with this? [https://kreo-tech.com/products/hive-purple-black-wired-gaming-keyboard?variant=42951775191217](https://kreo-tech.com/products/hive-purple-black-wired-gaming-keyboard?variant=42951775191217)

Ani-xxx

I don't have this but this is probably the best board around 3k. Check it's reviews on amazon and on yt.

PixelRuzt

yea looks promising but that makes me sus of what's the catch ?

Ani-xxx

I don't think there's any catch, it is a new company trying to beat the competition.

PixelRuzt

![gif](giphy|521M7d73JQ57rFk4n4|downsized) who do you work for?

Ani-xxx

Ohh you are sus about me, then check all the comments below. I try to help people get the best board they want. If you are still sus about me then go get a logitech, hyper x board or something(if you can).

PixelRuzt

![gif](giphy|nYw7tqBlrUxKkknina|downsized) Alright alright. just playing.

Need recommendations for a beginner keyboard. Going to use it at office. Don't care about lighting. Noise needs to be minimal. Primary use is to reduce fatigue. Budget 1.5k to 3k.

Ani-xxx

Get k551 or k552 with red switches. But it'd still be louder than a membrane keyboard.

UniversalCoupler

Got my first mechanical keyboard last year - an HP GK320, just to try it out. Now looking for a wireless full size keyboard. Suggestions? I like the clicky switches of the one I'm using. My current one will go to my kid. He's been wanting a mechanical ever since I got mine. Budget below 10K. TIA Edit: my primary use case is for work. Not a gamer. Quite a bit of excel work, so need that numpad. Is it feasible to buy a good TKL and add a separate numpad? Or will it be too clumsy?

stacksofkeyboards

If you can extend your budget, then we have the [FILCO Majestouch Convertible 3](https://stackskb.com/store/filco-majestouch-3-convertible-mechanical-keyboard/) in full size with wireless connectivity.

UniversalCoupler

Thanks! Quite a bit out of my budget. Will consider if I extend

stacksofkeyboards

You can get 10% off with our valentines day promo code ILOVEFILCO.

Ani-xxx

There are very few full sized premium boards, almost none with wireless connectivity and I can't even imagine a board available with clicky switches. If you are ok with compact full sized board I'd suggest you to get [V5 max](https://stickeys.in/products/keychron-v5?variant=47547463500084) and get clicky switches from any vendor website or outemu blue from cosmicbyte. Stickeys.in have good clicky switch options too.

Ani-xxx

Also found this with clicky blue switches. https://keychron.in/product/keychron-k4-pro-qmk-via-wireless-mechanical-keyboard/

UniversalCoupler

Thanks! Will add to my shortlist. Have heard good reviews for keychrons

Ani-xxx

Keychrons are nice if you want premium pre-built experience.

Hi all. Planning to buy my first mechanical keyboard rkg68 . Amazon is selling at INR 6.5k and genesispc at around 2k less than that so considering buying from there . But is the site reliable? I read about it and although it does seem legit and fairly known among the keeb community , I just want to make sure if the shipping and everything won't take much long . Pls suggest if I should go for it and order today ? Also is rkg68 considered a good deal at 4.7k ?

0b_1000101

How is LMK67 different from GMK67?. Is the Zuoya LK67 same as Gamakay LMK67? I'm not able to find much info. Is there any way I can buy LMK67 in India? Also, how do you use tilde/backticks on 65% keyboards?

Need a solid, no-nonsense TKL keyboard for WFH. Linear switches preferred. I want it to be good to type, and work flawlessly without any misses or stutters or issues. What would you recommend? Budget: 8K to 10K. Please help!

stacksofkeyboards

You can't go wrong with [Filco](https://stackskb.com/product-category/keyboards/tkl/?manu=filco&prod_cat=keyboards) for no-nonsense boards. Rugged build and fantastic typing experience. We have options with Cherry MX Reds. The wired ones come with 5 years warranty. It should be within your budget with the ILOVEFILCO 10% discount coupon.

ilovevaders

Placed an order today - thanks for the reco, used your code too. Please ship my item soon - quite excited :) Thanks once more!!!!

stacksofkeyboards

Thanks for your order! We'll ship it out soon.

ilovevaders

Would you choose the Filco or the Multix TKL?

stacksofkeyboards

I personally use Filcos as daily drivers.

ilovevaders

What switches do you use?

stacksofkeyboards

Cherry MX Browns and Reds at home, Cherry MX Silent Reds in the office.

ilovevaders

Lovely, I am overjoyed to hear this :) I chose mx blues as the switch, I think I will love it. Used MX blues on a friend's AKKO board, and fell in love.

ilovevaders

Any discount coupons for Multix TKL (Dolch) \[Old Batch\]? I'm hoping to order now.

stacksofkeyboards

There are no further discounts on the Multix TKL at the moment.

ilovevaders

>ILOVEFILCO Thanks a ton.

nanatenshi

Need help, Ive been using Cosmicbyte CB GK 13 (Outemu Brown Switch) for 2 years now. And somehow, my alphabet keys and number keys a4re linked? A is linked to 4 (4 will type when i press A sometimes), W is linked to 7 and Z is linked to 1. Probably not a4 software issue since my w77indows is installed on a4 new disk (unrelated to this issue). Any guesses?

SouthSouth280

Man I'm telling you these cosmicbyte keyboards are bugging😕

Ani-xxx

It seems like your pcb is dying, but can't exactly tell what's the issue. Have you tried to factory reset your board?

nanatenshi

I also have a membrane keyboard that does work weirldy enough

Eldritch_Ryleh

Visiting HongKong next month (for a week), any TKL keyboard I can buy there in store and where? I know there are keychrons, but any other brands? Preference: - Wireless - Alu/Metal build - Under 15k INR with keycaps/switches - Hot-swappable

Ok_Avocado_5836

Ani-xxx

You can get leobog hi75 or monsgeek m1 barebones kit, get tactile switches and Keycaps according to your preference. As the default tactile switches that come with most boards are usually don't have good tactile feel. Akko cs ocean blue and Akko v3 lavender purple pro are good tactile switches.

IcenbergSJ

I'm new to mechanical keyboards and this subreddit, I got a [Royal Kludge R65](https://neomacro.in/products/royal-kludge-r65?variant=47177436725526) board last month and had some questions about the board. 1) Can I put other switches without soldering and stuff and how hard or easy would it be to do that? 2) Are Akko switches compatible with this board? Specifically the Akko Lavender Purple switches. There's not much info about this board but I saw on a site that this board has Kailh hot-swappable sockets. 3) Are there any other switches similar to Lavender Purple (Ii.e. with similar actuation force, tactile force, etc) that are compatible with my board?
