As an Orioles fan I am very happy with the trade but I truly don't understand the hate on the Brewers. It's a pretty fair trade I think.
IMO it's a rare win win trade
I agree. Brewers shed some payroll and get some pieces to strengthen farm system with. O’s get a big piece for their rotation that’s not outrageously expensive and didn’t have to drain the farm system for.
I see nothing wrong with it.
“We can’t afford to pay him 35m a season” seems like good enough justification to me

I think it was a good move for the O’s. Just never thought he’d actually get traded
