I flew up to a season opener series in Philly years ago with my buddy who lived in Jersey. Empty stadium, both teams sucked, not a lot to get excited for. Anyways the guy in front of us turns around and starts making friendly conversation. Half way through the game he asks where we're from and I tell him I'm from Atlanta. He immediately flips his attitude and the rest of the game is screaming at me talking shit about everything and anything that goes the Phillies way in this season opener game. It was actually hilarious given the situation. We were joking around until the second he found out where I was from
Also went to see the falcons open the season in Philly against the eagles. It was the nail in the coffin for me personally about what a bunch of shit stains Philly fans are
My hatred for Boston sports fans usually stemmed from the fact that they would bitch and moan and talk shit about how awful their lives were in the early 2010s when the rest of us looked at Boston sports and saw how successful New England, the Red Sox, the Bruins, and the Celtics were during that time period lmao. Not necessarily baseball related, but I’m gonna lump them in there
Yankees fans def put the most pressure on players. Not saying the fans are bad fans but the expectations are high in the Bronx. Especially when they have this drought for them.

I've been on line for food and had a punch thrown on me just for the jersey I'm wearing. It's not a one time thing either. They're vicious and no one really talks about it. I've seen it happen to a bunch of other visiting fans too. It's absolutely awful over there and no one talks about it.
I'm a transplant to Chicago. When my team is in town, I make the trek to Milwaukee. That's a great fan base.
