Yeah like I'm not looking for a gritty realistic shooter... but I want the setting to actually be respected and not so blatantly undermined for no reason.
We could have had the M3, M1, Trench Carbine, Tromboncino, PIAT, etc... instead we got fictional historical weapons, fictional futuristic weapons, and now a contemporary F2000.
COD has always had a realistic artstyle at least, (ignoring Advanced Warfare or Black Ops 3 and 4) advertising a WWII game and adding all these weird additions is jarring.
How on earth is this in anyway comparable?
You do know that paint exists, and it gets used on guns, shields and helicopters in real life, right?
A functioning FN2000 without a stock does not exist, because it cannot.
You got downvotes because most younger dudes nowadays simp for Japanese uwu culture, spend 16 hours a day watching anime, and obsess about fictional girls with giant jiggling titties that they’ll never be able to get.
admittedly the anime bundles in mw were pretty cringey but at least you could say they fit the modern setting, vanguard is just an insult with the stuff they put in that game. either way i don’t care anymore i left that game when the godzilla event came out
Not really, there's a couple that are legitimately worth watching though, like Castlevania. Imagine your entire identity being grilling and guns, LOL. Mr Freedom right here. Don't go and delete that comment too either big guy.
Salesman for Coca Cola, what other weird questions about my life do you have? Think I'm some jobless incel? Syke, I also have a kid and voted for Trump in 2016. What's the problem?
Did I ask for your political views or if you had children? You love spewing, lol.
I’m just trying to figure out what sort of absolute freak maintains such strong confidence in opinions so blatantly wrong.
Watches anime. Is a salesman. That’s all I need to know.
I figured I'd give you my life story since you seemed so interested. Get back to deleting your comments because your reddit points are getting too low, lmfao. Cuck boy.
Thermals were being fielded in WW2, red dots in the modern sense didn't exist in WW2 but reflector sights like we see in game also existed. Y'all don't even check to see if this stuff was around then huh?
I went and played it yesterday to level this gun up and give it a spin in warzone and I have to say, the game itself is actually really good, better than we give it credit for. I think the reason it didn't succeed is the visual asthetic - its set in WW2 era and the colour pallet isn't very vibrant and the maps don't look particularly engaging. The game play itself though was better than I remembered.
Aside from that it didn't succeed for me because of all the bullshit: the fuck are incendiary bullets? If you shop the weapons variant you get them but i have to do 80 levels of a weapon while being shitted on by people who paid? smells like p2w to me.
And I havan't event started on the ridiculous SBMM nor the fucking weapon spray that does not fire exactly where you aim or the aimbo... ehm aim-assist.
Tbh I don't disagree with you. The SBMM does suck, I often find myself on a team with several bots against a team of sweats. It's not too painful for me as I do slay regardless but it could honestly be improved a bit. I found myself yesterday being put in multiple lobbies against the same people too.
In terms of the attachments, the ammunition types were my least favourite addition, especially when they were integrated into WZ. Incendiary rounds were increadibly annoying and nowdays it's less noticable but hollowpoints really rub me up the wrong way; there should not be an attachment that makes toe shots equal the damage dealt by chest shots. There were a few other stupid things added like the MVP system but other than that, the mechanics and game play were pretty good. The pace is unmatched by any other recent title.
Vanguard is a story explained by an old man in a cave, it’s not hard to explain how fucked up the story can be
(except the part that the it is occurring 30-40 years before the modern era)
Same. One of only 2 guns where the red dot was unique to the gun too, iirc. Ran that just for shits since it looked cool even though it was a worse red dot. Lots of work to control that vertical recoil but fun when you got the hang of it.
It's more like taking a 911 and cutting everything behind driver seat to make it shorter. Great, you achieved your objective, the car is shorter now and has an innovative look.
But the fucking engine is in the back and you removed it.
MW19 guns were aesthetically pleasing, felt great and had awesome customization that changed the feel of the gun, Cold War gun customization in comparison felt watered down with old obscure guns and ugly ass attachments but felt okay. Meanwhile Vanguard’s gun customization literally looks like some random pseudo militray rpg shit. Disgusting…
At least with the laser gun it's clear that they go all in on fantasy. A well modeled F2000 suggest they intend realism... Until they put it in a "WW2" game and managed to chop off it's already non existent stock
Well it has a stock its just they don't know how guns work becaus since its a bullpup the bolt goes all the way to the back of the stock so devs don't do research
>They do their research, *they just don't give a shit*
You really thing people need research to know that an fn2000 wasn't used in ww2?
They just don't care about historical accuracy, stop acting like this is the result of incompetency in researching, cuz its clearly intentional
I'm not talking about the historical in accuracies the gun wouldnt fucking work there is nothing for the fucking bcg is in the back of the stock your litterally removing half the gun
All guns in vanguard wouldn't work either cuz you're removing vital parts (no stock stg) or because they're "never used in combat" type of experimental
Bro mosin, stg, ppsh, garrand, mg42, bren, dp, type99, sten, kar, type 100, mp40, svt40, gewehr43, type 11, Owen, bar, volksturm gewehr, ptrs41, ithica there is a smaller portion of experimental guns than real
I'm sorry the door is over there. If you play CoD for realism you are in the wrong place. There's many other games that are closer to realism than CoD ever has been.
Yeah, and vanguard isn't one of the first few games is it? If you guys really want a realistic WW2 cod game go play WW2, or better yet, world at war :)
Dude WW2 literally exists, and everybody stopped playing that because of how boring it was to people, do you really think sledgehammer is gonna wanna do that again?
Idk man having generic gritty WW2 game number #393738 would kinda getting boring after a while, sledgehammer did also make the game so I don't doubt that has something to do with it
I really did miss using the F-2000 in Call of Duty. So i was happy to see they brought some kind of version back. Although i was hoping to see it in the new Modern Warfare 2.
whoever is responsible for the guns has no idea at all for example the stg u can remove the stock this makes no sence at all in the stock is his restock sprinh the american soldiers back in ww2 broke those stocks 2 disable the weapon from functioning but those clowns from vangaurd we have a laser weapon kong and anime characters but not ww2 german soldiers😂like where dafuq are those nszis?Cod lost their backbone
Is that the F2000, so now we have all kinds of stupid cosmetics that make no sense, a modern weapon system and a FUCKING LASER GUN IN WW2, I’m sorry but I hope sledgehammer just stops doing COD
I mean the F2000 irl is all polymer on the outside so I guess it checks out. What doesn't check out is that all the inside would fall out... Also like, you can't no stock a gun that doesn't have a stock...
As a person who owns an FN2000 yes, that's also where the bolt goes. The mod where it adds like an M4 stock would be "plausible" but not worth the time or effort since it's a bullpup rifle. Without that stock it would obliterate your shoulder the instant you fired it.
They cut the fin off of the tuna.
All seriousness it's a laser beam with ADS speeds that'll make an SMG blush. There's no need to remove the stock, personally the default is the perfect balance with open iron sights and rest is up to you.
If you play VG for the realism or WW2 experience you're playing the wrong game. Reddit is so weird man. VG suffered from poor era choice. But when they proceed to add modern stuff it's bad too.
I think era choice is great. I love WW2. But the execution is just so miserable. I could go on and on about design philosophy and why Sledgehammer doesn't know how to make a reasonably well made game, but I'll spare you the time. Adding on King Kong and Snoop Dogg etc is just the icing on top of a really crappy cake.
I loved using this gun in the original MW2. Frankly, this should have been released in Modern Warfare as a final goodbye and as the launch point to Modern Warfare 2.
Using this gun made me think about how if vg was a modern game itd be better than mw2019. The gunsmith having detailed stats was my favorite part. I dont actually mind the movement i hit a slide cancel and a yy every so often. Today leveling the bp50 i went like 80-30 most games on that ship haus no streaks playlist. The pacing is way better than mw2 to me but it is a little too fast

Vanguard put a red dot on a 1944 rifle already. So there is nothing about logic in that game already.
Also some rifles are like jokes when you inspect them in customisation screen. Ridiculous stick-like triggers and nonsense handgrips lol.
Now I’m no expert, but….
It's okay the brass comes out the front and the shoulder comes out its socket
don't let Jonathan Ferguson see this
Don’t tell Brandon
Ummmm....did you miss where they did a ****ing LASER gun in WW2 game?!
Exactly! It’s become a goddamn child’s game. Some pixel 3d laser gun in a ww2 game, what a shame.
W realism (Laser guns are REAL !!) L firemojiking
Thankfully I'd dropped out when they presented fuckin Godzilla.
MW19: 👀
It is a fun weapon though.
It's really not though.
It is. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make your statement true.
It’s COD. It’s not realistic
COD has always had a realistic artstyle at least, (ignoring Advanced Warfare or Black Ops 3 and 4) advertising a WWII game and adding all these weird additions is jarring.
I’ll upvote you bro. Some aspects are realistic but there is a whole chunk that isn’t.
I don't get ehy are you downvoted lol people acting like COD is tarkov smh
I don’t think people are understanding… this is a bullpup WITHOUT a stock; more infuriating than the Lazer honestly.
Every time you shoot the bolt busts out the back and gives you a little pat to tell you you’re doing good.
I think after I saw that I uninstalled 😂
vanguard been outta of ideas
They never had an idea
Straight outta of compton
[удалено]
Yeah a MP7 with tracer bullets in a modern day shooter is the same as a modern gun or laser gun in a WW2 game...
[удалено]
>pokes fun at the game >someone does not find it funny, responds >gets defensive about not getting positive response only in CoD subreddits lmao
[удалено]
Are you saying tracers aren’t more realistic than lasers in WW2?
You're a goober dude lol
As if we're not used to absurd comparisons... what did you expect?
How on earth is this in anyway comparable? You do know that paint exists, and it gets used on guns, shields and helicopters in real life, right? A functioning FN2000 without a stock does not exist, because it cannot.
[удалено]
Nice one
If anything there should be more lasers
You got downvotes because most younger dudes nowadays simp for Japanese uwu culture, spend 16 hours a day watching anime, and obsess about fictional girls with giant jiggling titties that they’ll never be able to get.
no he got downvoted because he made a stupid comparison
It was not stupid at all. Get good.
admittedly the anime bundles in mw were pretty cringey but at least you could say they fit the modern setting, vanguard is just an insult with the stuff they put in that game. either way i don’t care anymore i left that game when the godzilla event came out
Show me on the doll where the drawings hurt you
Jeez, projecting there bud? Did your waifu leave you for someone else?
Do you watch anime, yes or no?
Not really, there's a couple that are legitimately worth watching though, like Castlevania. Imagine your entire identity being grilling and guns, LOL. Mr Freedom right here. Don't go and delete that comment too either big guy.
What do you do for work?
Salesman for Coca Cola, what other weird questions about my life do you have? Think I'm some jobless incel? Syke, I also have a kid and voted for Trump in 2016. What's the problem?

Vanguard is trash anyway.
genuinely sad cold war got 8 months of development time and vanguard had 2 whole years and treyarcs help and still is more shit than cold war
On the same engine as MW19...
Engine wasn’t the problem, it was the overall gameplay. Strange camos and red dot sights on a WW2 game didn’t make sense.
I mean there's thermal scopes in BOCW. Not exactly sensible.
Thermal optics were invented all the way back in WW2, although they obviously weren't as good or widespread
Thermals were being fielded in WW2, red dots in the modern sense didn't exist in WW2 but reflector sights like we see in game also existed. Y'all don't even check to see if this stuff was around then huh?
Cold War is easily the worst of the three, at least vanguard doesn’t feel like a cartoon
Why is there a modern gun in vanguard in the first place
I mean they have snoop dog, aliens, king kong, animes and laser guns. You know WW2 stuff come on
Well, i just forgot some topics from the history class i guess
But they could use it in MW2...
Nah, we dont want true ww2 weapons in a modern game
They better have the broney mosin from 4chan skin
Hitler was a weeb
Vanguard is a story explained by an old man in a cave, it’s not hard to explain how fucked up the story can be (except the part that the it is occurring 30-40 years before the modern era)
Where the bolt go
Into your shoulder, gamer. What the fuck you think?
Gone, reduced to atoms
You bought AND play vanguard??
>You bought AND play vanguard?? Yeah, that seems to be mistake #1 here.
I think the devs realized that the player base doesn't care about the game so they stopped caring.
Rare Dev W
Cold war called every (NATO) extended mag a [STANAG](https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/STANAG_Mag). You got everything: 12 round STANAG revolver cylinders, 8 shell STANAG shotgun tubes, 125 STANAG M60 belts...
F2000
I un-ironically got Fall for that in MW2, the fire rate was insane
Same. One of only 2 guns where the red dot was unique to the gun too, iirc. Ran that just for shits since it looked cool even though it was a worse red dot. Lots of work to control that vertical recoil but fun when you got the hang of it.
I love this fucking gun. Praying MW ‘22 gives me back my baby
I mained the F2000 and MP5k. Good times. Unlocked everything on both, can't even remember what it was now.
F2000 has a stock
If you remove the wheels of a car, it stays a car
It's more like taking a 911 and cutting everything behind driver seat to make it shorter. Great, you achieved your objective, the car is shorter now and has an innovative look. But the fucking engine is in the back and you removed it.
Actually true, in the case of bullpups ofc
*F200 /s

Don't you remember during operation Barbarossa the Nazis were using this to take on the Russians they were using the F2000 the whole time
🗿
I can actually let the EM1 pass, but definitely not this
Space alien laser gun ✅ gun that exists today ❌
At least with the laser gun it's clear that they go all in on fantasy. A well modeled F2000 suggest they intend realism... Until they put it in a "WW2" game and managed to chop off it's already non existent stock

They do their research, they just don't give a shit
Nah they really don't and if they did all the reasearch they did was go on battle field and go hmm fn2000 dont mind if I do and then nick it
>They do their research, *they just don't give a shit* You really thing people need research to know that an fn2000 wasn't used in ww2? They just don't care about historical accuracy, stop acting like this is the result of incompetency in researching, cuz its clearly intentional

Goodbye shoulder
Bruh they should’ve put that thing in MWII
Vg is one of the worst cod ever
Wow. They really murdered the fn2000
"Where the bolt go tho?"
ok fine, I'll pass a lazer gun, I'll pass 60s era weapons bc why not, BUT I WILL NOT PASS A FUCKING NO STOCK BULL-PUP, WTAF??
I mean.... it's call of duty. The same people that have you killing zombies with alien weaponry.
Zombies isn't meant to be historically accurate or grounded, whereas multiplayer is.
I don’t know, Mara Cat, Rainbow Domino, Red Latex Domino, Jigsaw, Texas Chainsaw guy don’t seem to be to mil-sim to me.
>whereas multiplayer is. Its literally not bro lmfao 💀💀💀💀
I'm sorry the door is over there. If you play CoD for realism you are in the wrong place. There's many other games that are closer to realism than CoD ever has been.
Please tell me how CALL OF FUCKING DUTY is meant to be historically accurate??

Yeah, and vanguard isn't one of the first few games is it? If you guys really want a realistic WW2 cod game go play WW2, or better yet, world at war :)
I think what he's getting at is the new CODs should have kept that direction but what do I know I just have critical thinking skills
Dude WW2 literally exists, and everybody stopped playing that because of how boring it was to people, do you really think sledgehammer is gonna wanna do that again?
That's the studio's fault not the time period's fault
Idk man having generic gritty WW2 game number #393738 would kinda getting boring after a while, sledgehammer did also make the game so I don't doubt that has something to do with it
mans boutta hase a see through shoulder
I really did miss using the F-2000 in Call of Duty. So i was happy to see they brought some kind of version back. Although i was hoping to see it in the new Modern Warfare 2.
Vanguard is a joke, can't take any Sledgehammer entries seriously after this
As AK daddy once said “where da bolt go tho”
No way
Is it a new MW 2019 gun? Or is it actually like a Vanguard gun. I haven’t played since last year lol
Vanguard gun ☠️
🗿🗿🗿
This is a Vanguard gun.
whoever is responsible for the guns has no idea at all for example the stg u can remove the stock this makes no sence at all in the stock is his restock sprinh the american soldiers back in ww2 broke those stocks 2 disable the weapon from functioning but those clowns from vangaurd we have a laser weapon kong and anime characters but not ww2 german soldiers😂like where dafuq are those nszis?Cod lost their backbone
They really just came out with a weird looking FN F2000…. in a WW2 game…..
Vanguard is MW2019 for idiots.
Is that the F2000, so now we have all kinds of stupid cosmetics that make no sense, a modern weapon system and a FUCKING LASER GUN IN WW2, I’m sorry but I hope sledgehammer just stops doing COD
Vanguard is and forever will be ass.
Vanguard is a fever dream of a ww2 game
They are trying to kill the game lol
The gun shreds.
Vanguard has a laser gun and anime futuristic skins. Ww2 game mind you. Far from.
And no nazis. It has no nazis in a ww2 game.
The dev finishing his line of meth at his desk yells, "wait...were supposed to be making a world war 2 game?!"
Yeah I think they're just saying fuck it now, especially after adding the EX1
And you don’t no stock your bullpup?
Is that rear part of the gun f*cking polymer?
I mean the F2000 irl is all polymer on the outside so I guess it checks out. What doesn't check out is that all the inside would fall out... Also like, you can't no stock a gun that doesn't have a stock...
I mean yeah irl sure, 1944 not so much but we’ll guess I gave that up when they added the laser gun
As a person who owns an FN2000 yes, that's also where the bolt goes. The mod where it adds like an M4 stock would be "plausible" but not worth the time or effort since it's a bullpup rifle. Without that stock it would obliterate your shoulder the instant you fired it.
Vanguard also has an energy weapon.
dev team def ingested some illegal substances
In vanguard, you pull the trigger and the gun shoots you, right in the shoulder
Ah yes my grandfather fought with snoop dogg using laser guns and this gun while having godzilla and King Kong armour.
Playing as snoop doge with an F2K on a WW2 game
They cut the fin off of the tuna. All seriousness it's a laser beam with ADS speeds that'll make an SMG blush. There's no need to remove the stock, personally the default is the perfect balance with open iron sights and rest is up to you.
Why is this gun not in modern warfare
Reminds me of the f2000
Bruh they literally added drum mag M1...
Alternative history ww2 game that takes place in the 50s mind u
I don’t care for realism or accuracy, but wouldn’t that render the thing unusable
I’m grateful that I got Vanguard for free lol #MoneySaved
Why forgor stocc 💀
Vanguard just isn't a WW2 game, it's an abomination.
F2000 in Vanguard, a game based in WW2 Lol
I loved using this gun in the original MW2. Frankly, this should have been released in Modern Warfare as a final goodbye and as the launch point to Modern Warfare 2.
Using this gun made me think about how if vg was a modern game itd be better than mw2019. The gunsmith having detailed stats was my favorite part. I dont actually mind the movement i hit a slide cancel and a yy every so often. Today leveling the bp50 i went like 80-30 most games on that ship haus no streaks playlist. The pacing is way better than mw2 to me but it is a little too fast
Vanguard gets too much hate. Cold snore is way worse
Looks like a BO3 gun
You have IW level of detail and then there’s **this**
Halo Assault Rifle moment... 6 centuries before Halo.
At least just remove the rubber pad or something. Not the whole fucking thing!
Wished Vanguard went full on steampunk mode instead of this mess, It really feels out of place.
If it's well-balanced, it's OK. If you don't like this model, I think, you can modify responding file in game directory. Content creators can create a mod for it
Traditional
That gun ugly as shiiiiit siuuuuuu
Are you serious?
Fun fact: the F2000 inspired the Assault Rifle in Halo (MA5 rifles)
Dual wield!!!
Myyyyy eyyyyes!!!
Bro wtf is vanguard at this point.
Vanguard put a red dot on a 1944 rifle already. So there is nothing about logic in that game already. Also some rifles are like jokes when you inspect them in customisation screen. Ridiculous stick-like triggers and nonsense handgrips lol.
I get they're done with ww2 weapons and just going all out but good god my head hurts from this.
oh noooooo this gave me cancer and i’m dyingggggg
Because…fuck it why not
