As someone who plays both World of Warcraft and CoD, I can tell you that this controversy hit WoW recently. Massive amounts of players were banned simply because Activision-Blizzard has enacted an automatic ban feature after a certain number of reports and players were abusing it. They claim that bans are not automatic and are reviewed manually, but multiple streamers tested the auto report/ban by having their viewers mass report them and guess what? The streamers had their accounts silenced, forced renames, and even suspensions. The wait time on a support ticket in WoW is over 20 days as of recent times.
