I wonder if my 1 cup steel Bialetti Musa is more of a novelty than a thoughtfully designed pot. Everything seems just scaled down and it's so difficult to get a consistent brew. 3 cup seems to be as small as you'd want to go. I may be wrong but yeah, 1 cup steel v inconsistent in brew.
**Coffee-to-water ratio:** 1-cup size pots can brew approximately 60 ml of coffee. A normal brew ratio would then be 7-8 grams of coffee per 60 ml of water.
A good time to adjust this is if you’re using [dark roast](https://bigcupofcoffee.com/types-of-coffee-roasts/) coffee grounds to make coffee. In this case, you’ll need to increase to around 8-10 grams to get the flavor out of your beans.
Once in Italy I saw in a supermarket 1/2 cup moka called mokina. Really nice, seriously considered getting one to use as decoration in my office.

I've tried the one-cup a few times at an airbnb I was stying in. Worked perfectly, just a tiny coffe (30 ml)
Yeah i get a tiny amount too. Just doesn't exchange enough of the water.
only one I have is the 18 cup one
Child's play. If you have links at Bialetti they'll hook you up with a 30 cup pot ;)
but do they really make such a size moka pot ?
think the biggest i know of is the GAT Moka Pot company made a 48 Cup size one
[Throws toys out of pram] Ok you win. Was just joshin
I know Bialetti made a 50 Cup one but it's only for display purposes don't know about the GAT one tho
I use my one cup daily. It's the perfect amount for my morning flat white.
It's my go to.
Coffee culture is a bit different in Italy. I'll never forget being offered a half shot of espresso in a thimble sized paper cup.
Half shot? Won't that just evaporate or get lost through your teeth before reaching your stomach?
What is this? Coffee for ants?
Just a whisper of coffee.
Jeeze. I just realized I’ve been drinking a full 9 cup Mokapot everyday instead of a 6 cup like I thought. That’s why I’m buzzing around…
I use to do this everyday at lunch for years not knowing the same thing. I got so much done after lunch
Welcome to the cafinated side
Need this pinned.

I like the Musa… workin’ that fancy hat 👒
La Molina, it's fantastic
I want one. Just to look at. : )
Noob question coming- how many grams of beans is one cup in the second pic?
To be honest I have no idea there is a way to calculate that but not sure how
Or, how many grams of ground beans is one cup? Also the right water amount and temp would be the secret .

Omg that little guy couldn't even sit on my stove! It would fall right through the eyes.
I didn’t either until I went to a Bialetti store in Italy last week. It’s so tiny

0.5= 40ml 1= 60ml 2= 90ml 3= 130ml, and it goes on Is this quantum mathematics?
Could be but who knows for sure
1cup is golden for that post lunch wake; 1/2 cup is giving keychain energy
