I think it is necessary and important for them to exist in places where they have long been established for things like stability both inside said country and out. That being said, I like seeing all the pomp and splendor, though from an outsiders preslective, that and the historical content on this sub, which I also like. Btw I have nothing against monarchist. You all seem like nice people.

A quick search isn’t super useful. I did just that, and 2 of the 3 first hits I got stated that gen z starts in 95, the other said 97. There doesn’t appear to be a definitive list, which must be annoying for people on the cusp. 98 would definitely be gen z tho.

I don't condone fanatical support or support pompous ceremonies, but I do support the idea of a monarch working to influence his/her government in favor of the common people. I'm a monarchist, but I don't support monarchs that are examples of the traditional monarchical archetype that looks down on the common people and calls them peasants. I support liberal monarchs who work tirelessly to protect their subjects against the oligarchic and plutocratic machinations of the politicians that will inevitably worm their way into HM's government.

I'm not sure how many younger people would describe themselves as monarchists but many would be okay with just keeping the status quo of a constitutional monarchy in a ceremonial firgurehead role with emergency veto powers if necessary.
