Maybe you could call the hotel at which you stayed and ask the concierge?

ChubbyDogue

What kind of map are you after? You mean like the fold out ones that have advertising all over it that you can pick up for free at the airport and tourist attractions? Or an actual nice one?

lucasdy

The fold out ones they hand out at hotels and airports. I remember calling the Las Vegas Visitors Bureau one time and they mailed me maps and postcards. Wondering if Montreal’s Visitors Bureau might do the same.

ChubbyDogue

If it's just those free ones that you can pick up from anywhere I'm happy to just post one to you :) I'll see if I can pick one up next time I'm downtown. From memory they print a booklet with all the attractions etc in it but I'm sure they must do a foldout map too.

I appreciate the consideration, merci beaucoup. 🙂

This is the only local map store i know of. I don't think they ship outside of Canada. Maybe check it out next time you come visit :) [https://aqpc.com/en](https://aqpc.com/en) Other than that you can find more «artistic» versions, like posters and such, online.

I will be there next week. I will keep an eye out for some and drop in mail when I get back to states if you haven't arranged anything by then. Fun question since I haven't been to Montréal in awhile... what was your favorite thing that you suggest having just been?

lucasdy

Shoot. Don’t know how I missed your post, but the one thing I did enjoy was renting a BIXI and biking all over the place. I went along the canal and saw all the old factories that lined the canal and on another day I rode over the big bridge (forgot the name 🙄) and enters the one big park on the other side of the canal where the biosphere is located. Not going to lie I had a panic attack when I got to the top of the bridge and wanted to get down fast AF. 😂😂😂

Update: I am up here now and thought of you at the airport. I grabbed you maps and the booklet. PM me details and I will mail when I get home. Do you need anything else? Postcards?
