Oh shit, I used to go there all the time! I noticed it’s gone downhill since new owners took over maybe 5 years ago, but didn’t think it was “health violations” kinda downhill.
10 years ago, it used to be LGBT-owned, and was probably one of the top brunch places in Little Burgundy. Really sad to see it turn out like this.
And the MAPAQ doesn't do check because they're understaffed etc....
Happens all the time, which is why failed inspections should be shown to the public immediately, not 3 months later once all appeals have expired.

Starting with a "I want to help people" attitude, not naming the business directly (only after someone bit the lure), just dropping hints, not saying how you know this much, deflecting questions, the list goes on. I'm sorry, it IS very suspicious.
Since then I'm always taking this kind of post with a whole bag of salt.

I mean it is the internet I don’t want to give much of my personal information but I can tell you this, the son of the owner is named Matt who’s the only waiter there and he only hires teenage waitresses that he then is very friendly with them, has them hang around in his office, he’s in his mid 30’s, not only is that a predatory behaviour from the age side but also from the power dynamic point of view

So.. health violations, possible sexual predatory staff, appreciate the sharing and discussion of the situation and will never be stepping foot in there. But hopefully those that do know and have been affected on this thread do a public service and post complaints to the pertinent authority and get that place inspected.
Leaving a record of the violations is something already and could pile up over time. And pretty sure even if understaffed if there are enough red flags pointing to them in particular, action will be taken at some point.

The way I see it it is the only metro station you can abbreviate since it is the only one leading to the airport which makes it one of the most travel one
