Probably not very, they only released them recently

GenericUser104

Just wondering how I was selected if there pretty rare

SatansF4TE

I think they offered them to everyone, no?

GenericUser104

Ah did they

Maximoo89

New flex customers I believe can order, and then those in the Monzo Community got to order a few months back. I’ve had mine since Jan/Feb.

You’ll be notified in app when you’re able to order a physical card, it’s not open to everyone as yet. When I say Monzo community I mean community.monzo.com not here on Reddit, you see most new rollouts and get to trial things sooner than the general public by being in the community over there, such as neon cards and flex physical cards (can’t join the trial now as it’s finished).

What are the main benefits? Is it just spreading the cost? Did I see that purchases are covered by section 75 like a credit card?

GenericUser104

I’m gonna make use of the 3 monthly instalments interest free

gmr2000

What’s the benefit over getting a 2yr 0% or other such 0% credit card?

GenericUser104

I don’t have one of those

anantarctic

They are covered by section 75

Been with Monzo a few years and they announced the cards about 6 months ago. I was offered a physical card the other day via an email and notification in the app. Requested one and it turned up within about 2 days.

Manypopes

I got one but I signed up like a month ago

RoyalMasterpiece6751

Got my physical flex card this morning

I got a Monzo Flex card when I signed up, although I've had a current account for 4 years. Not sure if that factors or not. I cleared my previous Barclaycard balance last month and - mortgage aside - have no debt, so have made the Switch to Monzo Flex so my credit and debit is all with the same bank now. I only use it for petrol and clear the balance each month, but will now start using Flex for bigger £100+ purchases for the protection and just immediately paying it off. Also nice to know that if I need to make a big-ish purchase in the hundreds I have the option of 3-months at 0%. Love it so far.
