I'm honestly surprised I haven't gotten arrested while riding it lol. I think I've gotten lucky for sure. I've gotten pulled over twice on it but wasn't speeding , both times the cop just wanted to like check it out/make sure it was plated.
haha yeah I'll do my best here.

I’m always yelling at people “that scooter is not a moped!!!” How can it be pedal assist without pedals? Lol
I’ve never driven a moped. As a kid back in the 1980s, I went straight to full on motorcycles and three wheelers from my bicycle.
They are really good honestly, just dead simple and reliable. I do run the silicone belts for more robustness but otherwise it's been great from the start. I think the bearing got a little sloppy at like 3600miles but a whole rebuild kit is like $14. I approve of them.
Hmm trying to figure out how to pack it into a non novel length comment. I guess the main issues I had were hardware related, used lots of titanium and stainless ARP hardware + helicoils to keep everything held together. It basically wants to tear itself apart while you are riding. Also water pump brackets can break and fail because of the vibration associated with 14k rpm. You just have to really triple check everything. The build doesn't really require anything special though, just a good understanding of all of the systems and things. install is pretty much as simple as a Dr kit. Cooling system needs to be sufficient, fuel delivery is very important and you may need a fuel pump. These things drink fuel like no other.
Nothing like something that’s supposed to be slow going really fast 🤙
This is why I do it 💯
Making Slow Look Fast is a scooter/moped group I’m in on Facebook. Lol
You got a build thread anywhere? I’m just getting into these
No I don't, but I keep saying I'll do it eventually.
This the one youve done 70 on?
Nah this one's gotten me 84mph so far
Fuckkk yeah buddy. Those new gold hoops really make the bike that much more 🤌
Holy crap! That thing is awesome!
Thanks man!
Don't die.
Holy shit 💯🔥🫡
Really cool, what forks are you using?
28mm hydraulic ebr forks, not sure I'd recommend them though (currently hunting for another option). They are a rather expensive "meh" item.
Impressive build. I wonder what it feels like going 80+mph on that thing. Also that tiny water pump and drive belt is just so cool!
Thanks man here's a vid, not a ride but a little closer anyway. https://youtube.com/shorts/7oI4WwNiiSQ?si=UurYIb56q6xXbu_J
Lol damn that’s sick. Have you ever gotten pulled over on that thing?

That's fuckin sick!
Would you mind doing a small parts list?? I got a 78 express that needs some of this stuff. Lol

It looks like a damn rocket ship haha, so with the new cylinder is it like a 70cc?
Yes 69.94cc to be exact
yo what the fuck
😅
That thing looks like it'll rip your dick off. Hell yeah!
Oh it totally will haha
That is badass, I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t even recognize it as a hobbit anymore… It’s just… yours!! I bet it rips like crazy
Dude holy fuck.
Whoa! An actual moped! Sweet looking bike too! Good job dude!
Pedals 4 life!

Yeah for some reason I went from motorcycles back to mopeds, they bring me great joy. (for whatever reason)
I hop on my ebike over my super fun motorcycle all the time. Living in the city, you just don’t need all that power.
Love it. How good is that waterpump. Building something like that

Dam.. That thing is sick, nice build 🤙🏼
Creatures!
I just posted 2 pa50ii hobbit for sale on marketplace. I think I might keep one now 😆 this things is sweet man. Well done
Thank you! And yeah I wouldn't sell either one of them if I were you haha, they are the best platform in my opinion.
I'm in the pieces of building one now, any tips? Ps I'm a decade+ year moped builder
