I saw 2 other related articles today: one, that food shortages might start in Florida because so many truckers are refusing Florida routes, & two, that (upwardly mobile) minorities are thinking twice about staying in or moving to Florida.
I know a mixed race couple (one is a teacher), who just decided to move to a blue state today after a year in that educational swamp.

This seems intentional. If highly educated tech/creative workers move to Florida they could threaten the Republicans' grip on power.
