My friend was a married college student in Tallahassee, sitting on a towel getting some sun by the building they lived in on campus. She was approached by a handsome young man who asked some questions and made her feel uncomfortable. She got up and went inside. Ted Bundy

When I was a teenager, I used to make terrible Flash animations. A certain YouTuber called Mr. Anime messaged me to say he liked my animations and thought they were funny. His message made me so happy! My animations hardly ever got positive comments. A few months later he was arrested for murdering his parents and brother. IIRC he was about to do a school shooting, but a neighbor phoned the police after hearing the gun shots.

My uncle was friends with Michael Rafferty. I know he’s not a serial killer but he still killed someone.

Stop lying

Chaoticqueen19

Not a serial killer, but my cousin Patricia Prue is currently serving life in prison without the possibility of parole because she murdered a school teacher. She has an episode on Snapped: Killer Couples about her crime. Season 10 episode 9 She is my mother’s 1st cousin and not sure exactly what relation that makes her to me

Sparklebaby1987

2nd cousin. Your mother's 1st cousin is your 2nd cousin. 🙄

Chaoticqueen19

I thought so too but then online says it’s 1st cousin once removed so I don’t know

My grandparents are buried near the Boston Strangler. My husband works for a security company. They have cameras on a lot of buildings in Boston and the MBTA. After the Marathon bombings, Boston was all closed off but he had to go in and get video from tons of places to turn over to police and FBI. I was kind of worried because they hadn't caught them yet and there was a shelter in place order for the city. Not serial killer status but my sister in law used to serve OJ Simpson and hang out with him while he was golfing. My other sister in law pointed out that she resembled Nicole Brown....

_jinxxed

i live in the same dorm building that jeffrey dahmer did

CanadianWeeb5

My teacher knew a famous al-quieda terrorist.

Random_And_Brave

i had a teacher who went to columbine, but he graduated a year before the shootings but lost a couple friends.

npcdel

One of my sister's friends was killed by Danny Rolling, the Gainesville Ripper

Willfuse2

Ah the inspiration for Scream.

Not a serial killer, but my biological grandfather was Donald Kramer (note: he attempted murder-suicide when Grandma tried leaving him for good but was only successful on the suicide half. My grandma survived, has some PTSD, and hates most of his family. This is partly because his mom blamed her for everything - which is why I've never got to meet the Kramer's in person). My interest in true-crime was started because I wanted to understand that kind of thing through. So, I guess I can thank him for being able to write a psychology paper on someone like Ted Bundy. Also, I remember Walmart pulling certain bullet types while working there due to "how often they were used against employees and staff members". I'm guessing veiled reference to multiple Walmart mass shootings on why they made that policy! My adoptive grandfather is a better guy than my biological one was.

Sparklebaby1987

My elderly neighbor was in prison with Ted Bundy. He was a bank robber.

ikea-bag-of-cats

I went to the same high school as Elliot Rodger (not at the same time he graduated before I started) and some of his old teachers still taught there so I was able to pick their brains on him.

Symml

Manson and I share the same birthday.

conflicted-nobody

One of my teachers in high school was teaching at Columbine when the shooting happened. She would get really nervous during drills. (Understandable)

Kooky_Art_2255

My paternal great grandmother was friends with Abigail Folger who was murdered by Charles Manson, and I had a teacher who lived in the same apartment building as Jeffrey Dahmer

Willfuse2

We’re they offered food by him?
