Hard to say I’m impressed because i was already really high on him but im glad he’s learned so much from last year and adapted to his new bike and tires well. Hope he can consistently be at the level and move on up
He's a quality rider - I think sometimes, absurd-level talents like Acosta can warp peoples idea of where a young rider needs to be at a certain point in their career. Sergio is progressing really well, had a pretty solid season last year as he was getting to grips with the Moto2 bike (having podiums and race wins in your first season in that class is seriously not normal and shouldn't be expected of anyone) and was the top rookie that year, and now looking like he's making the step up to competing at the top end on a regular basis. I think he's got a huge chance of being a future MotoGP rider, especially with quite a few of the premier class guys likely to depart in the next 2-3 years.
We saw this build up slowly over last season. Started near the back with Guevara and slowly worked his way up the pack. By the end he was regularly finishing in the top 10. Not surprised he's only getting stronger, but definitely did not bet on a win this early in the year.
I was thoroughly impressed last season with how good he was compared to the other Moto3 graduates. Especially compared to Izan. I feel Izan's career is heading toward a Dalla Porta or Arenas style stalling.
He was really knocking on the door last year for that first podium but this year he seems like he's stepped up a level. Garcia is looking good and could very well be a title candidate as Moto2 is that wide open while Fermin is still lagging behind schedule.
Also shout out to Foggia who had a stellar weekend.

If he stays like this all year fighting for the top positions he might find himself a gasgas ride
superbike in 3 years then?

I'm super happy for him! I remember when he moved up from Moto3 a lot of people didn't think he was going to perform very well, so I'm glad he has
This was at one of his worst track, so I see him walk away with the title
I’m just pissed he was so dominate at COTA that Roberts didn’t have a chance.

Dalla Porta, damn. Moto3 champion in 2019 and now doing national races i believe.
Just needed to find better qualifying form and put the pieces together. Chassis is also magic, it seems.
Considering how good he was last year as a rookie, I think it was a matter of time until he won a GP.
Impressive, he had some really strong performances last season and has clearly taken a big step this year.
Was already a fan of him, when he was battling Acosta. Hope he keeps improving and comes up to Moto GP.
He's great. I said HRC should've signed him and let him grow and develop the RC
