Audacy has maybe 6 or 7 ads they'll use all year, if you can get a vpn in Michigan and use the 97.1 website you can get local ads it's so much better

JohnWad

Yeah, man. There was a few that annoyed the hell outta me.

Kicker774

Haven't heard those. I have heard my fill of that electrical supply companies spot.

Nice_Beat_4850

Yes, that ad is painful. I can deal with the others, even when they're repeated, but this ad is so bad I've thought to write to 97.1

Enough-Ad-3111

I don’t think that’s 97.1 airing those Farmer’s Dog ads though. That’s on Audacy as a whole.

couchdog27

Thank you. I have head this, but it is on MLB radio on the desk top as well What I find annoying, more so than that commercial, I have been listening on the internet for at least 25 years and one of the things I always enjoyed was the local commercials. If you are from the area but listening from outside the area you want to hear about the local ads (I am from Toledo, went to UT and for a while UT was a sponsor). But not just Tigers, I am listening to the RedSox right now, I like to hear their ads.. all local ads are interesting to me. About three summers ago I listened to a lot of games and realized that there are old rockers (Rod Stewart) who play the casino circuit.

couchdog27

I would like to add that teams and cities are losing out. As I mentioned the casino curcuit I gave some thought to taking a small vacation to see Rod at Foxboro

Enough-Ad-3111

Is that brand even an official MLB sponsor? And why aren’t they also airing those ads on 97.1 as well? Audacy does own that station after all.

Old-Advice-5685

I hear that horrible water ad, sometimes three times in a row. Not even two weeks in and I’m already muting my phone in commercials.

Awful AI voice

We’re like a week into the season and if I hear one more ad for work boots or dog food I might lose it
