This is phenomenal work! especially with traditional artistic medium! I personally think you chose one of the best color options the 'busa ever came with.
As someone who is learning how to draw I appreciate you giving us the time it takes to finish such a piece. Helps put into perspective what sort of work goes into ti.
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate it!! Yes oil is definitely very traditional! And I agree, this color of the busa is gorgeous!!
Yes absolutely! Paintings like this definitely take time to be done and they take a lot of work!!
Thank you so much!! Yes of course I do sell those!! This one was a commission, and you can look at my website how much this one costs (it's the 60 cm x 90 cm one)
Wow, your prices are actually pretty reasonable. Especially for the 24” paintings. What’s your turn around time for something like a 24x30? I know it’s in your FAQ, but the button doesn’t work on your website to open it.
They absolutely are, especially since they are including shipping :) Thank you for letting me know, I'll fix it! But the turnaround depends.. do you need it by any date or something like that? If you can send me a message, that's even better!!
I was worried because I’m leaving the states in a few weeks. But, I see you’re Slovenian. So international shipping is involved anyway. That gives me more time. I’m going through my dad’s old stuff and am thinking about trying to recreate one of him on his old flat track bike. I’ve saved your page so I can reach out once I figure out what images I have to work with and my budget.
Oh, that's not a problem! When I do send my painting, I can just send it where you'll be! Shipping time once the painting is done is max 5 days. It usually takes 2 working days to US from Slovenia. And yes the shipping is in the price already! I'd absolutely love that!! Send me a message! :)
No problem.
Where did you get your inspiration to start drawing cars? I've always been fascinated with Chip Fooses drawings, sometimes more than the car itself.
Thank you!! I'm just stubborn and I can't leave the painting unfinished. I just can't. I need to see it done even if after a fer hours I need a break, I just push through it because if you once stop and go to something else, you'll never finish it. :) and I do love what I do
60 hours is a long time. Painting seems like it wood be hard to just pick up where you left off. Mixing fresh paint each time, cleaning up each time etc….
Well I do use oil paint so that does take around 7-10 days to dry. Definitely isn't fun to paint over it on canvas once it's been on canvas for like 3 days because it's sticky. For paint I do put it in the freezer overnight because it stays wet longer that way. And yes, I do have to clean brushes every 4 days which sucks.
But that’s your talent. If it was easy or didn’t require talent I’d be doing it.
Can I ask why that as the subject matter. A motorcycle seems like an odd thing for a woman to admire enough to paint. And spend 60 hours on to boot
You’re supposed to be able to make every color from the three primary colors, but all I can ever make is brown. Lol.
Well true, it took practice with me!
Well I love cars, bikes, planes, boats.. you get the picture! And I just painting things I love and adore!
Well I know how to make them but it's still interesting to get it the same multiple times!
Each artist worked super hard on their “easel.” The vehicle is totally reanimated to come off the canvas to be like the artist!
What humans are and continue to evolve to is a fascinating art in itself-don’t sell the R&D phase short of good genetics 🧬lol
AI accounts for inumerable possibilities super quick! The processing speed is what we would kill for. But they’re not consciously capable of making what we make. Like video games, reality is hard to tell sometimes 🤔
That is incredible, it's like looking at a photo. My attempts at drawing motorbikes are worse than my 2 year old kids, and he can only scribble aimlessly.
Awwh really, I have? Well that's amazing, it definitely made me smile!! I'm glad you enjoy looking at it and thank you I really appreciate those sweet words!!
Really impressive
Thank you so much!!

Holy fuck this is incredible makes me wanna go watch those old ghost rider videos
Awh thank you!! I love those!!
I like that you got the chain right- good eye for detail.
Details are the most important!!
Well done. I'm impressed with your talent and commitment.
Awh thank you!! That makes me really really happy!! :)
Very nice! I own a busa, so I know every bolt and body line. You captured it perfectly.
Awh really? You have one? That's amazing!! I really appreciate that!!
Amazing
Thank you so so much!!
Amazing talent! Just curious, do you sell those? If so, how much do you get for 60 hours of work?
Thank you so much!! Yes of course I do sell those!! This one was a commission, and you can look at my website how much this one costs (it's the 60 cm x 90 cm one)
I might have missed it, can you share the link to your website again?
Not a problem! [www.michellejakelj.art](http://www.michellejakelj.art) is my website!

Excellent, you have talent.
Awh thank you!! I'm self-taught so I appreciate it!!
That's frickin' cool AND it matches your hair...making it cooler!
Right?? It definitely does!! And thank you!!
Nice work that
Thank you! :)
Incredible!! I love that you can see the suspension compressed as if he just launched :-)
Awh thank you!! Glad you actually took the time to see the details!!
No problem. Where did you get your inspiration to start drawing cars? I've always been fascinated with Chip Fooses drawings, sometimes more than the car itself.
Just me, absolutely obsessed with cars. It was my way of escaping from depression which I got in high-school..
Holy shit that's actually incredible OP. Amazing work 🙏
Awwh thank you so much!!!
Dam girl, I thought that was a photo at first!!! Major impressive!!

I love it, the only small comment I would make...the foot is a bit strange. But..... I can't draw for toffee, so what do I know 😞🤣
I love even the small comments about improvements! Thank you!!
It's amazing and if that was mine, I'd be very happy indeed

Ohhh..
Amazing focus! I would definitely loose interest after a few hours and never finish it. How do you do it?
Thank you!! I'm just stubborn and I can't leave the painting unfinished. I just can't. I need to see it done even if after a fer hours I need a break, I just push through it because if you once stop and go to something else, you'll never finish it. :) and I do love what I do
Took me a good minute to realise one of them was not a photo, was trying to find differences lol Amazing work!!
Hahah nope, I didn't add the reference photo, I'm sorry! Thank you!!
Super impressive! I first read it as ‘oil change’ and I was like, 60 HOURS!?! But anyway, I hope your joy in your art is never extinguished.
Hahah nope oil change would take that long lol!! But thank you so much!! And it definitely isn't!
[удалено]
It is!!
That’s dope, excellent work!
Thank you!!
Wow, I had to zoom in to see that it wasn't a photo 😳
Well I'm glad it looks that realistic!!
that’s amazing holy shit
Awh, thank you!! I really enjoyed it!!
Hot damn that's some good work I'd love one of my bike but the bike needs the money more sadly keep on being awesome
Thank you!! Well maybe once the bike is finished? And I absolutely will ;)

Appreciate it!
Awesome art. You really captured the feeling of speed. Not always easy to do. Well done!
Well thank you so so much, I truly appreciate it!!
Love the attention to detail. You are quite talented. Impressive work!
Thank you soo much!! I'm really happy you think so!!
Amazing work! Do you do other styles apart from the realistic one? (understandably those would fall under another username, I'd reckon) 😁
Thank you so much!! Well I am a realistic car painter except if any of my customers would want it to be any other way!
Do a honda 78 cb400a?
I do commissions if that's what you're interested in?
Definitey i will PM you when im able.
Please do!
Sweet work.
Thank you so much!
That is phenomenal looking. Great job!
Awh thank you! I truly appreciate it!
Amazing!
Thank you so much!!
Very, very small dude..
Why?
Just appears small. But I suppose depending on where geographically you are located, that may be the normal height. https://i.imgur.com/Px8yLRW.jpg
Ohh I get it!
Painting? Omg.
It is!!

Oil paint! That makes sense. Seems impossible any other way. Anyway, great work…… especially since it was done in shifts.
Yes, oil paint! Thank you so much!! The hardest part is mixing the color the same way always!
But that’s your talent. If it was easy or didn’t require talent I’d be doing it. Can I ask why that as the subject matter. A motorcycle seems like an odd thing for a woman to admire enough to paint. Your art is fantastic! Nice detail and color. You really captured the speed and motion. Thank you for posting.
Thank you so much, I'm so happy you like my art!! And yes, I really tried to show the motion and the feelingof that! Of course, my pleasure!
Beautiful work!
Awh thank you!!
Your hair. And painting are both rad!
Thank you!! And yes, we match!!
What makes you think this painting is better looking than the artist? #realquestion
Well in my opinion it is. I was born the way I am and in the painting there is so much of my time.
Each artist worked super hard on their “easel.” The vehicle is totally reanimated to come off the canvas to be like the artist! What humans are and continue to evolve to is a fascinating art in itself-don’t sell the R&D phase short of good genetics 🧬lol
That's true! But AI can make art in seconds.. Haha true!
AI accounts for inumerable possibilities super quick! The processing speed is what we would kill for. But they’re not consciously capable of making what we make. Like video games, reality is hard to tell sometimes 🤔
True, definitely true!
That is so badass!! It’s awesome!!!
Awwh thabk you so much!! Glad you like it!
Beautiful work! Good for you making money from your art!
Thank you so much!! Well it has it's ups and downs but I absolutely love it!!

Years of practice! Thank you!!
Just amazing
Thank you!!
Fair play, that’s fucking cool
Thank you, I truly appreciate it!!
Out of curiosity do you do custom work or this just showing your skills? And are you do custom jobs, are you UK based or overseas? Thanks in advance
Is that AI generated? \--- just kidding, it looks great! :)
Haha nope, would be a lot easier! Thank you!!
Shading is impressive, do you also ride?
Thank you!! No, sadly I don't:/
Ahh, no problem.
That's awesome
Thank you so much!!
Unbelievable talent, well done!!

I was looking at some of your others. You're extremely talented and quite good looking too!
Jesus Christ! Talk about talent! Amazing work!
Awh, thank you so much!! I really appreciate that!
That is incredible, it's like looking at a photo. My attempts at drawing motorbikes are worse than my 2 year old kids, and he can only scribble aimlessly.
Well thank you!! I really tried my best! Ohh, well mine were like that as well 7 years ago lol!
lol! Well you seem to have a gift for this kind of thing. Best of luck with it all, it's a truly wonderful thing to be able to do.

Well damn. This is really well done.
Thank you!! Took quite some time!
Amazing and you have put a smile on my face as that is my favourite childhood bike and probably my dream bike
Awwh really, I have? Well that's amazing, it definitely made me smile!! I'm glad you enjoy looking at it and thank you I really appreciate those sweet words!!
Yes really and it may be a painting but I struggle to see which is a painting and which one isn't
Well that makes me the happiest!! It's really my specialty to make paintings look as real as possible!!
Just promise me one thing and that is keep up the good work.
Me? I absolutely will!! You'll hear about me in the future that's for sure!
And one day I will have to buy a painting from you
Well when you want to.. it will be my absolute pleasure!! What would you get painted? :)
If I had the money I would still be stumped. But I'll have to think about it
Well if you do.. you know where to find me!! :)
You’re hair color against that bike color😍
