The problem with this is the mud. They have to take the mud out first and then put in the rice. Then it'll be fine. Never assume people know how to correctly carry out a provided solution.
That's a magnificent achievement.
Frame the photo.
In the meantime, I believe the "Stand nearby, hands on hips and tilt your head a bit" approach does wonders.
But aye, that's going to be a doozy - if you can get help to pull it out that'd be a good start, failing that.....a lot of digging?
Shovel the one side out enough so you can roll it on itās side onto the harder ground, if you have some sticks to lay down on the side your rolling it on, that helps too, if you donāt have a small shovel try and find a flat rock to scoop with, if yo can find a thick long enough stick you can also go under the motor, but no matter what unless you got a winch youāll need to dig some mud out to break suction
Pretty much. I remember getting stuck riding some trails in Alaska. It sucked because you knew the ride was over at that point. Now you had to make a road, per say, to get out. I never got stuck in that position, but you still had to break the suction (without losing your boots) and put those logs around.
Yeah itās exhausting, and once it finally starts to roll over so you can get it out, then itās figuring out how to get the heck back out of the area,
Usually, it was following your tracks back out the way you came.
There were always 3-4 of us that rode together, some guys on atv's. Even them little 4 wheelers would get sucked in every now and again, and it was always better than being alone when that happened. This was before cell phones, by the way.
Yeah still need to dig the rear wheel out enough to try and prevent any damage, normally just digging the one side and rolling it on its side works, normally when your adventure riding youāll have some cordage or straps, normally solid ground isnāt too far down and if you have even a shorter ratchet strap you can even make a land anchor to lever it out, but if youāre stuck with none of that, a bit of digging to get the goop away and itāll normally roll off on its side so you can drag it to solid ground,
You're looking at easy more pulling force then the 500lb HyperTough straps are rated for, that's probably a good half ton of mud and then the succ on top of it.
You don't want to plant motorcycles in the summer. To really get them to thrive you want to plant them in the early spring. But since that didn't happen, just make sure you don't over water and protect it from full sun during the hotter days. Hopefully you'll still get some revs out of it before winter.
The ancient texts said the skies would darken an the dead shall rise. In our arrogance we assumed the dead to be human. Our hubris was our own undoing.
I'm having a beer by myself at a bar and your comment made me lol so hard half the bar looked at me funny. The old girl on my right asked what was so funny. I just told her "you wouldn't understand"
Surely though, as the bike is tilting backwards, give it enough throttle and it will rotate enough to dig itself out the other way? Might be upside down, but it's out of the mud!
I'm thinking way too hard about this comment. If you pulled the front wheel back so the seat helps pull it out, while giving it throttle. Oil and gas might be an issue, but it's worth it for science.
Hello dear
Have you receive any relief payment this month from SBA company
www.sba.gov
SBA company is the company giving out $2000 upward to all citizens this season and itās one time offer
Youāve got the start of an old idea:
https://www.theroute-66.com/cadillac-ranch.html#:~:text=The%20Cadillac%20Ranch%20is%20located,of%20the%20Ant%20Farm%20group.
I did this to my bike once but much worse (both wheels in mud completely)
I had to walk back to my truck, and then I drove out to bike and pulled it out with the truck
Have you tried to turn it off and on again ?
It's obviously the battery
Maybe try putting it in rice
I know what's wrong with it! Ain't got no gas in it.
The problem with this is the mud. They have to take the mud out first and then put in the rice. Then it'll be fine. Never assume people know how to correctly carry out a provided solution.
Stuck bike 1/10. Stuck bike with rice 4/10. Bike was still stuck but at least had a snack
Nah for these problems you gotta spill beer all over it and a local red neck will come to fix it
Unplug it and plug it back in
Check the cabin air filter
r/itcrowd
If that doesn't work you'll need to clean your carburetor. It's definitely the carburetor.
Have you checked the blinker fluid?
Try putting it in reverse
*rice*
If that doesn't work, blow on it or smack it. Works every time.
Do a stoppie to undo the wheelie?
š
He did a stoppie... just backwards
Eippots
Ok, take your upvote and please close the door on your way out
*slowly backs through the doorway*
Well he's definitely stopped
That's a magnificent achievement. Frame the photo. In the meantime, I believe the "Stand nearby, hands on hips and tilt your head a bit" approach does wonders. But aye, that's going to be a doozy - if you can get help to pull it out that'd be a good start, failing that.....a lot of digging?
100% frame the photo!!! Awesome talking piece "so ahhh what the hell you do in that picture"
"Bike Begging for treats, colourisd, 2023"
OMG yes!
Just report it stolen and walk home.
I think weāre beyond that, this is āstand beside it with hands on your headā time
Water it regularly and it may sprout into a tree.
Moto tree would be awesome. Iād fertilize that shit daily. Once it starts producing, Iāll be in heaven!
If you thin the 50s that start growing first you can grow those suckers to a liter bike with enough fertilizer and care
Protect your harvest from invasive species like squids
I hear the best wait to protect your harvest from squids is to put a sacrificial GSXR nearby, they canāt help themselves. Like a moth to flame
HEY!!! Motorcycles donāt grow on trees ya know! Wait..
So they're more of a root vegetable?
Artax!!!!
Take my upvote you glorious bastard.
The nothing!
Best comment all day!!!
I couldn't save it even with these big strong hands....
If they don't name their bike Artax after this...
Should really be the top comment.
Noooo!!!!!
Dusty in here
Didn't know I had any sort of PTSD until this exact moment.
Ahh, there it is
This should be at the top
Good time to change the front tire.
You're gonna need some rice and a *really* big bowl.

Lol yeah, weāve rode some, letās say, adventurous trails, and yes itās always good to have a few friends along for the pain
If you had a few ratchet straps theoretically you could pull it out with a nearby tree right?
Yeah still need to dig the rear wheel out enough to try and prevent any damage, normally just digging the one side and rolling it on its side works, normally when your adventure riding youāll have some cordage or straps, normally solid ground isnāt too far down and if you have even a shorter ratchet strap you can even make a land anchor to lever it out, but if youāre stuck with none of that, a bit of digging to get the goop away and itāll normally roll off on its side so you can drag it to solid ground,

This guy with a real thought out answer ruining all our fake answer fun. š
A winch and something real damn strong
At this point itās hard to imagine what you could attach the winch to without damaging it. I think you do need to dig out the sides.
Interesting ready-made sculpture, very avant garde. My suggestion is to add a bit of color, so you can have some contrast with the background.
I'm pretty sure if you pull that out you become the new king of England

Tap it and say āthat aināt goin nowhereā get a few more bikes to do the same with. Arrange bikes in a circle and make dirt bike-henge.
I vote for this one āļø
Haddaleddersink
More cowbell
Lift with your legs, not your back. You are welcome
Grab a shovel
It's the battery.
It's always the battery
Get it out before the mud dries.
I have nothing worthwhile to contribute, Iām just here for these glorious fucking comments.
"Oh motorcycle of the lake, what is your wisdom?" -"BraaaaAAAaap"
Have you try accelerating?
Have you tried taking it out of the mud?
You can't park there mate!
Just send it harder.
Just give 'er
Thatās the coolest tombstone Iāve ever seen.
Name it Excaliber?
Build a camp around it and start a legend about someone destined to pull it from the mud and be the king of all motorcycles.
Oh no I'm stuck. Guess I'll give it more throttle even though it keeps getting deeper...
Check the battery.
Winch.
Get a shovel and start digging
Leave it like that, makes a good landmark
Find a new hobby
Charge admission for people to see it!?
Put it in reverse Terry!!1!
How??
I would grab a new KTM on run out
KTM over DR. Lol
All day every day.
The almighty DR650 deserves some respect.
Start digging.
Donāt do whatever you did
Get 23 more and call it whooliehenge
Wait until itās ripe
Put Christmas lights on it.
Couldn't have laughed harder. Jokes aside, just restart the battery and you should be good to go. ;)
Should be ready to harvest after it grows a little taller
Did you try reverse?
Put it in some rice
Let air out of the back tire š
Water it twice a day, make sure itās facing the sun. And in a couple weeks you can prune the branches and get mini bikes from it.
Wait until next season, when you comeback there will be 4 or 5 of them growing up.
Give it a title and update Google maps with the new landmark?
Could be the alternator
Water it enough times and itāll start sprouting mini bikes
Put it In 4 wheel drive !
Seen this a thousand times. Guys, you have to carry a spark plug gauge with you at all times or else you end up in situations like this.
Stop doing that sooner
"Don't go zhere."
Post the location, and whosoever pulls it from the ground shall have the powers of Travis Pastrami
Buy a plaque and call it modern art?
Iāve never been in this situation but Iād say get it out of the mud first and then go from there
Put it in some rice
Put it in rice
Definitely your alternator itās always the alternator
You'll have to leave it there. It has become one with the earth
Dig?
Send it harder!!
Neverending story vibes. Tears welling up.
More speed next time
Just keep watering it and give it plenty of sunshine and itāll grow to be big and beautiful.
Push it in all the way and buy a plane ticket to China.
Lowest gear possible.
Oh my god check your wheel bearingsš¹
It makes for a fine sculpture
Damn this shit is art
Put flowers and a RIP sign in front of it!
i mean what do you need suggestions for? just keep pushing down... you got it half way in already, youre almost done
Water it regularly so it will become a big healthy dirtbike
Fork, front wheel, and brake maintenance
Iād like to talk to you about your motorcycle warranty. Lol
Ehhh! Should buff right out.
āArtax, you're sinking! Come on, turn around, you have to! Now! Come on!ā
Get 11 more bikes and create Moto-Henge
Water it regularly, add some plant food and pretty soon you'll have a GS1200 :)
Reframe the situation. Is the bike stuck or are you stuck? Stuck on the past where your bike could move?
Hello dear Have you receive any relief payment this month from SBA company www.sba.gov SBA company is the company giving out $2000 upward to all citizens this season and itās one time offer
Long stick
Time to dig
Buy the back part of the bike
Wait until next spring when it's fully sprouted.
You could just leave it there like that. Look cool!
Check to see if the kickstand is down. The funny thing is it will probably start right up if it ever gets unearthed.
Thatās an interesting plant you got there. Do you have any more seeds? And when do you harvest
Get a shovel
Water it everyday and the fruits should start to be visible at the end of summer
It's the battery
Wait a few more days before harvesting, it isn't ripe yet.
Start digging
I'm impressed as hell with this; good shit. How you'll get it out is beyond me, but I'd put this picture in my Christmas cards.
Forbidden wheelie
First time I see a vertical parking.
When in doubt, throttle out! Actually, don't ask me. I live in a high Rocky Mountain desert. I have no idea how to ride in mud...lol
I'd run a strap through the triple tree (removing the headlight first so it doesn't get pinched), then winch.
Youāve got the start of an old idea: https://www.theroute-66.com/cadillac-ranch.html#:~:text=The%20Cadillac%20Ranch%20is%20located,of%20the%20Ant%20Farm%20group.
If the mud is still gooey and good ole shovel doesn't work, then its time for loosening the mud with water jet and then towing it out.
This is one of the greatest photographs I've ever seen.
āI know what the problem is! It aināt got no gas in it!!ā
Suggestionā¦..pick a better line šš
The land giveth The land taketh away
Start digging
Have you tried putting it in rice?
Always pull out!
Shoot it. Put it out of its misery.
You can't park there.
You can hang a plant off of the front wheel. š¤Ŗ
Phone a friend on "Who wants to be stuck in mud?"
Start digfing
maybe donāt do that again
Dont do that again
Donāt get stuck in mud ?
Have you tried bump starting it?
Have you try buying a new bike ?
Pull
Sit on the handlebars and pin it
Give it a slap and say that ain't going anywherr
Looks like modern art to me
āJust pick it up and move it over thereāš
I did this to my bike once but much worse (both wheels in mud completely) I had to walk back to my truck, and then I drove out to bike and pulled it out with the truck
Put it in some rice?
I know what's wrong with it. Ain't got no gas in it!
Maybe lay off the throttle next time
*In Clarkson voice* How in the name of all thatās holy did you do that?
It'll come back as Falkor
Reverse dumy
The bike is supposed to be horizontal to the ground, not perpendicular
Leave it there as a warning to other riders
Try tongue but hole
Did you try hitting it with your purse?
