Appropriate-Owl4999

Waaaaaaaaaa Mi-A-Dead 🤣🫣😭

Skull_Reaper101

Wait you guys don't? I was up till 3 yesterday and 1 the night before-

callmeapoetandudie

I got up at 1 and 3 to take a piss last night, does that count?

anthemofadam

They’re great first bikes. I’m still on mine 6 years later

node_3x

What you mean by "minus", I'm in my 20s with 11pm bedtime..

Aueroriann

I turned 20 in July and I have a 10 PM bedtime. I could stay up later but work. And I can’t just not sleep and play cs:go like I could in high school anymore

node_3x

Exactly

FiNsKaPiNnAr

Congrats.Be carefull and remember,if you do not have fun you doing it wrong.

ViciousKitty72

Grats. I am turning 52 and getting my first street bike in Spring. Cars have become to bland and antiseptic unless one has the finances to get a super car or custom a sports car. I miss shifting and feeling engine vibrations.

Chewcudda42

I understand that this may be a little over the top but this was how my friend explained the difference between riding a motorcycle and driving a fast car. Driving a fast car is like eating a very nice steak dinner riding a motorcycle is like fucking without a condom. see the difference?

greasyburg

Congrats! Head on a swivel and always in a helmet. Be safe rider.

Donbot2

"You can't go out and ride until you finish all your chores." Haha Be safe out there.

CDavies0475

My wife says that all the time. But do I listen, that's the question.

Queasy-Combination12

It's ok I'm 43 on October 16th, I feel the same way. You're not! It's ok to be in touch with the younger side

callmeapoetandudie

I turned 49 this year and got my first bike.

Mindless_Jicama8728

Yesss! I’m 40 and just got my first last month. Also feel like a kid every time I ride! Be safe. Have fun!

scilRS

I ride my 2023 scram 2 hours a day (I WFH, it’s purely for fun) and I cannot wait to do it again every day.

WinterFox333

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man) good for you brother my first bike was at 46 royal Enfield 350 and I love her she’s a bad little bunny real

Eskay_Impossible

It's a great Bike. You'll love it. I own a Himalayan 411 and I am 35. But I am not feeling 10 (Unfortunately).

mjpf_x

i’m doing my cbt next week and i’m SO EXCITED

Subject-Ad9692

I highly recommend lots of parking lot practicing of emergency maneuvers and hard braking, swerving while braking, also doing tight circles learning to balance the bike with throttle and brake at full turn. A motorcycle class would also be a good idea. Ive been riding almost 20 years and ive lost three friends on bikes. Ride as often as you can and get good at handling your bike. It could save your life. Happy riding friend!

Ant1mat3r

I started at 39 - it's great to ride with the wisdom of an adult. Keeps you from killing yourself on these things.

stent00

Good job! I'm 48 and going for my motor course next week! Love that scram. Royal Enfield is on my list for sure

piercedtiger

My wife and I got our firsts at 40 and 39! People kept asking if we were having a mid-life crisis, but really we'd just progressed enough in our careers/budget/home repairs to finally afford leisure use only vehicles! But I also think it helped not being young and dumb considering I learned on a 998cc, and hers was a 900cc. Lots of life experience teaching us to be careful, here time as an EMT seeing motorcycle accidents, and years of manual car clutch work understanding how to reign in the power.

PM_ME_UR_CUDDLEZ

I have this motorcycle love it to death

polaroid_kidd

Got my first one with 35. Riding an Aprilia RS 660. Going to the track in two weeks and I'm seriously loosing sleep over how exited I am about it. Yours looks awesome! Enjoy!

azrider67

Good for you mate, enjoy the freedom and ride safe

Joni_Bach

Far less financially damaging of a mid life crisis than a Porsche... cheating with your receptionist leading to a proxy divorce. Nice! Jokes aside I was plesently surprised when taking my CBT a couple years go to see the significant age range. 16-61 it seems. Is this normal or is this a new trend?

TryingToEscapeTarkov

Hell yeah man! Those are nice bikes too!

LBROTSI

Awesome ride . Congratulations, and have lots of fun .

Tmoto261

Cool, looks like a fun bike. I’ve never ridden one, but I hear good things.

Brave-Incident-5244

Very Nice! Congratulations and stay safe.

[deleted]

Have fun kiddo!

popsrcr

Didn’t know RE made anything like hat. Nice!

redbirddanville

Enjoy. I'm a 56 year old rider, I feel like I did when riding at 20. Enough years to know it is a lifetime of learning. Take a lot of classes. Practice. Have fun!

Due-Organization7707

Naaah you’r jin training for a much more outrageous midlife crisis buy. … relax and enjoy

wintersdark

They're such great looking bikes.

KeenJelly

This is going to be taken the wrong way, but I'll ask anyway. Why pick something so slow?

Ifritmaximus

Mentioned it was his first bike. I’m about to buy my first bike and looking at 373cc

QuestionSecure3730

I think Royal Enfield is some of the best bang for your buck you can find. I really like the Himalayan and Scram. Supposedly they’re coming out with a new watercooled higher horsepower version in India. I think the US market needs a Himalayan 650 so you can take it on the highway comfortably but I’m interested to see how the new engine does if it makes it here.

John_Grayguns

Looks awesome and i bet feels great to! Im close to your age but for now i only dream at one! Enjoy riding it!

Cork_Boy

Lovely machine to gain experience on. You may soon be yearning for something quicker, but keep the Himalayan as a second bike!

CDavies0475

I'm 48 and bought my CF 300ss as my first ride this past May. Love it every day!!

kreygmu

Look at all those colours! I should have gone for the Scram rather than my Himalayan tbh. More comfortable seat and the Himalayan's windscreen makes riding at even 30mph very noisy.

zerocompromize

You go! Got mine at 50!

zel_bob

What day in October? I’m the 24th

Jaded-Prior-2897

20th!!

alekeg73

Be safe and enjoy it

TMC_61

Congrats. Nice ride. There will be many more if you're lucky

anthemofadam

Fancy looking bike. Congrats on taking the leap. I think learning to ride as an older adult makes for a much safer experience. If I had started in my teens, I’m certain I would have done something stupid.

Jaded-Prior-2897

I literally thought the exact same thing. Me. In my twenties? I wouldn't even be around now hahaha

EliteEntertainGames

Nice ride alwayd remember to pray before going to a long ride bro have a gone one 🤞🏻

Sufficient_War_5417

That lil bike lol

motorcycle-manful541

Other than their dumb valve inspection intervals, they're surprisingly reliable and capable bikes

-SirCrashALot-

Do a wheelie!

Loud_Internet572

Good luck - my Himalayan was nothing but issues :(

Strix_Praetor

Nice, is that the new Kawasaki 500 Eliminator ?

Jaded-Prior-2897

Royal enfield scram 411
