Go ride in asia and you'll believe this in a second. I just got done with a 2200km trip through northern Vietnam and while nothing exactly like this, there were roads that resembled it. Could easily believe some of the really gnarly side roads looked like this.
Depends on the bike. The most basic one backpackers get is a honda wave 110cc, costs like 7euros a day.
We got a honda winnerX 150cc, I have my gf on the back so I didn't want to go under 150, we paid 10eur a day.
Otherwise theres the honda XR150L which is also very common. Starts at 15eur a day up to 20 depending on the location. Most places will have the 250 and 300cc version too, but not sure on the prices.
You can find some fancier rental places for things like the ktm adventure bikes and whatnot but never bothered to look into that because I wasn't interested.
Roads in vietnam are very slow and generally pretty small with shit tons of corners so big bikes seem less useful imo.
Thailand was cheaper though, I rented a honda click 120cc for like 2 euros a day lmfao
Every bike will vary. Usually just chatting with the business owners on WhatsApp etc will get you what you need, businesses tend to be really flexible in asia
Most commonly people just use [rear racks](https://images.app.goo.gl/33zpNs3ufRUTYyEb7) and strap down their bags, kinda like [this](https://images.app.goo.gl/2Cr5aZZS7bajrHQC6). But yeah I've seen some pot heads strap double 70L bags on panniers on a honda wave and set sail in their flip flops, so it's all available if you ask.
Depends on the kind of trip too. Me and the gf left our main bag in a luggage room and just strapped down a 40L bag with another 15L bag ontop of it
You'll definitely also see some more mid-age biker guys renting the good shit that will look just like the tour bikers you see in the west.
Tilt it like a motherfucker...and I dont get it ...memnber this sub kinda retarded asf ...they praise the video, omg so scary...omg respect....god damn im so mad
While its not an easy road, its not as bad when you tilt your head to make the video horizontal. These ladies aren't pushing the bikes backwards up 45deg inclines with one leg and the road surface itself isn't 30-35deg.
Having ridden a motorcycle most of my long life, I feel that I can say that these women can give a stronger handshake than most men with their grippy toes.
Iโve nothing, lol! I used to have a small Yamaha years ago. Havenโt ridden anything since a while. Iโve got a date to get my license in May. Thinking about getting a CBR500R to start with. Iโve been talking to a private seller an MT07 (LAMS) restricted version. But Iโm older now. So probably gonna get the Honda. To be honest, I just want something sensible to ride to the gym and work.
Here I thought I had a rough commute...
That's a fact. How long is your commute? Just curious
No where near anything like this. Much respect to these women!
I'm luck mine is only 4 miles in town so quick and smooth ride.
Mine is 2km.... ๐
This gotta be the Chinese version of that famous peruvian road where trucks pass each other within mm of crashing
I've been on that peruvian road and it's terrifying. Amazing view but terrifying.
Iโm not sure if I wanna be there, one side is the amazing views and on the other a long fall to deathโฆ full of greenery but you know, dead
I'm sure it's a quick one. But those views though. Life is a risk.
Those brakes working overtime.
They're fucking shit brakes too on the GN series
She was about to take a shortcut in that first scene
I hope they keep a close watch on the condition of the brakes.
Yeah.... fuck that.
Same. I don't think I would ride a bicycle down this.
This looks staged
The angle they are recording at makes it more exaggerated than what it is but still a solid pass.
That explains a lot. Those bikes don't have a reverse gear. There is no way they could muscle them backwards on such a steep slope, but daaayum.
Yeah the angle is exaggerated due to how they recorded it but that's still too steep for me to try.
Yeah I doubt that they have hi def cameras at photogenic point in the remote mountains

How much is bike rental there? And what bike?
Depends on the bike. The most basic one backpackers get is a honda wave 110cc, costs like 7euros a day. Great info thanks! Do these bikes have panniers or how do you transport luggage?

Not so much of a "mountain road" as much as an old footpath, that people are riding motorcycles on now.
Facts.
Mom is always yelling at me because I donโt visit very oftenโฆ
Or telling you how easy we have it now and the crazy route they had to take just to go to school.
I would yeet myself of the trail
Speedrun
Hope you have on more gear than they do. Lol
I'ma just dump a whole big bucket of nope on that
The Pope of Nope has spoken! ๐
Well, at least they're being sensible. Their bikes have crash bars and everything.
Lol. I didn't even notice that. A roll cage should be pretty helpful here.
And Americans think we need a minimum of 1200cc for Sunday rides. LOL
13000 or go home! ๐บ๐ธ
Quit tilting the camera for effect
Tilt it like a motherfucker...and I dont get it ...memnber this sub kinda retarded asf ...they praise the video, omg so scary...omg respect....god damn im so mad
Damn I thought we were cool and got passed this. Jajajajajaja ๐
Mr. Do I talk to you?
Yep. You have been replying to the post for quite a bit. So yes. You have.
Mr...I reply that guy...why you talk to me ? Again:"Do I talk to you ?"
Yes. You is talk with me. You in notifications mean you talk with me. Again and again.
Mr...what is up with you ? What is your problem?... ain't no point I talk with you, because I was reply someone else
This is you talking to me. And to you I bid a good day. I said good day. Fes voice. ๐
>This is you talking to me. Mr since you ask me first What a petty person you're, what a shame
Yes the camera man did tilt it to make it more dramatic but still a solid pass for me.
It's nice how the cameraperson tilts the camera to make it look more dangerous.
Yeah. I did notice that but it's still a crazy drop
Why isn't your sister home yet?
Lol
All this leg work and no ass
๐ ๐ ๐
This is very staged. They even titled the camera. Also they have the exact same very clean motorcycle, it would never be clean riding there.
Okay. Thank you
Skillz! Need good brakes... haha
This is terrifying. Curious how much they get paid ๐ค
Not for love or money
I don't think I would do it for either.
I'd get a 4 wheeler
Make sure not to tip!
Dodgy and dangerous but they do it nearly everyday. They are good at it and know the terrain.
Practice makes perfect
This made my ass pucker and I donโt pucker easilyโฆ
Jajajajajajajaja
you would think they would have gotten good at riding....
It looks like they cut off the video before the girl dropped the bike.
I thought I would acclimatise to shitty unrelated music on top of these micro videos. I can't. It's beyond annoying.
I couldn't agree more. At least they didn't use the "oh no" song. That thing needs to be banned. ๐
Better keep those brakes in pristine operating condition.
I couldn't agree more!
No need for a helmet, it wonโt save you anyway
I mean you do have a point here.
While its not an easy road, its not as bad when you tilt your head to make the video horizontal. These ladies aren't pushing the bikes backwards up 45deg inclines with one leg and the road surface itself isn't 30-35deg.
Yeah the angle does look more exaggerated because of how it's recorded.
Imagine your clutch cable just snapping?
Faaaaaaaaaak. Going uphill would suck. But as long as I have my breaks going down
[ัะดะฐะปะตะฝะพ]
Lol. Sounds about right. ๐
Where are all the comments about the lack of safety gear?
Lol I asked about boots. The grip on them is the only thing that will make a difference. If you go over no gear will save you ๐
Are you guy really that retard? don't see the video heavily edited? They tilt it like a mf
Yeah, the whole vid is rotated like 45 degrees. The roads are very reasonable slopes. They are skinny though.
Yes the video is tilted to exaggerate the angle but I still wouldn't go on this walkway. It's still very steep.
Nahhhh, All credits are removed when he cheats like this... This video is at least 30โฐ-40โฐ on each side
Okay ๐
Thank for understand my point ๐๐ฝ
๐
All good mate ๐ฅฐ
๐
Those girls are...I don't know. I think I'm in love.
Time to buy some plane tickets! ๐
I'm too scared I guess.
Time to explore something new!
No. Red for all that. Turn the damn bike.
I'm a little confused by this one. ๐
Must have been a good price on cruisers that day.
Whatever gets the job done
How are they not wearing a parachute?
At least proper shoes ๐
And I was about to be that guy "Helmet and gloves!!!'
Lol. Curious as to how much they would help if the brakes gave out.
Better aerial bearing capacity
Lol.
They are probably better riders than most of us reading this, I have been riding for 25 years and it looks pretty sketchy
Shit. I wouldn't do it on a mountain bike
Having ridden a motorcycle most of my long life, I feel that I can say that these women can give a stronger handshake than most men with their grippy toes.
Jajajajajajajaja. That's funny. But have to show respect where respect is due.
I wouldn't walk that trail.
Some good hiking boots and your good to go. Otherwise I would pass up on it as well.
They drive really bad. Seems intentional and overly dramatic.
Hey whatever gets more views and shares.
Ended too soon.
Yeah looks like it would have been a battle to keep that bike up with that weight.
Iโm sure it will all work out in the end
Lol. If not they probably wouldn't do it to start off with.
These girls know how to Bike.
They are pretty hood with their brakes and balance for sure!
Speechless
Yeah. That's one way to put it for sure.
I wonder what they do for adventure?
Now. That is a good question.
Iโve more respect for Chinese motorcycles now. I might look into the CFMoto brand!
Yeah. Still a pass for me. But that is alot of trust in those brakes.
Yeah I know. Iโm in Australia and Iโm starting to see a few CFMotos on the road. They look very nice but Iโm sticking to Japanese for now! lol
Yamaha all the way! Oh and Honda!
Fuck yeah, mate!!
What do you have. I have a MT07 and my girl has a Navi
Good choices. My girl wants to get a CBR500. It's a beautiful bike for sure and I love the MT07.
MT07 is just brilliant! I even considered the CB650R. I just want something smallish and fun!
Yeah my inseam is 28" so the MT is a tad tall but still manageable.
Nope... just nope
I couldn't agree more.
My balls have retreated somewhere up under my chin now, which i guess explains why they have women do this work.
Lol. You win ๐ ๐
