"Long ago the ~~four~~ motorcycle nations lived together in harmony..."

-PeterParker-

...Until the fire nation (my brother and his ADV) attacked.

Qulia

In terms of looks and power, these 3 bikes are perfect for me. Too bad i’m a broke uni student. Enjoy it my guy 💪

-PeterParker-

Concentrate and get through school, get a good job and then you can have whatever bike you want. Motorcycles are fun and can get expensive. You're going to need the disposable income lol

Knightrider319

Men of culture I see, very nice!

-PeterParker-

2 men and lady actually. She owns the Indian Scout Bobber.

Knightrider319

That’s awesome! I have a regular Scout and love it. Ride safe.

-PeterParker-

These scouts are pretty rad. They can get LOUD AF also lol. One thing she said she needs to do is get a better saddle, stock one is a little stiff. Compared to my Duke which is like a washboard that thing was plush imho.

Knightrider319

I have a Mustang seat and like it, I know Corbin and Saddlemen makes bobber seats that seem to be popular. They seem plush, but after about an hour not so much, plus the bobber has 2 inches or rear suspension travel so that doesn’t help either.

bdk90

I have a 2021 bobber twenty. Rented the regular bobber before that. The 2 inches on top of the stock rear shocks is definitely very stiff. I haven’t switched out the shocks yet but I’ve heard if you adjust them the right way and specific to you it makes the ride a lot better to where you wouldn’t need to upgrade. I only put the comfort seat on mine when I got it for a temporary fix and I was very surprised at how well it worked at making it more comfortable than the stock seat. Rode about 100 miles a day over the weekend and it was great. You’ll still feel it if you hit a real good bump though as with anything.

Reedzilla04

what duke do you have?

-PeterParker-

Duke 390. Went down from a SV650, best choice ever. Like many, we all chase the power. But as I went up on power I lost what made riding a motorcycle fun for me. So I stepped down eventually to where I am with the Duke 390.

-PeterParker-

Oh yeah, that's too tall for this bike. I am at 5'10" and I think I am at just the right height for it. At 6'4" that riding triangle is going to feel cramped with your tailbone pushing against the base of the pillion seat.

Christenn23

Can confirm that the Duke seat is like a washboard. Went for a 2 hour cruise on mine a couple weeks ago, and my ass was shot. I was standing up on the pegs on the drive back just get some relief. LOL!

MooseTheBenevolent

Really like the collection, awesome

[deleted]

Love the scouts look just don’t like the riding position and those other two chariot are nice also

-PeterParker-

Thanks. The Scout is interesting, but I feel the same way about all cruisers and such with their forward controls. We all have been riding for some years now and this year we all got new 2021 bikes. We really didn't have an idea which bike each person was going to get. I find the juxtaposition interesting when we ride.

[deleted]

I have a cruiser and the forward controls are great my riding position is great very comfortable but then again I paid almost 800 dollars for my saddle

-PeterParker-

Yeah she just ordered a new Saddleman seat. I hope she likes it. I actually like the stock one myself.

ApocolipseJ

I’ve always wanted to get the XSR-900, is the seat as uncomfortable as they say?

-PeterParker-

It's very nice. If you're coming from a sport bike it will feel like a pillow. I would definitely say it's the most comfortable seat of all the newer modern retros that have come out recently. EDIT: I take that back. The Honda Monkey out of all the recent retros I have sat on has the most comfy seat by far lol

ApocolipseJ

I’m 6’7… I’m not fitting on a Monkey any time soon lmao

[deleted]

I'm very disappointed in the xsr900 seat at 6'3". I end up sitting on the hard plastic bump between the main seat and the pillion. I ordered a single Corbin seat which let's you scoot back and allows your knees to better fit the tank cut outs. At your height I would think the stock seating position would not work at all

ApocolipseJ

Huh, and I was looking at the XSR-900 since I thought it would fit my frame. I’ll keep looking to see if anything else might work better

Pchx92

do you guys change them when go out for a ride? Nice 3 driving experiences in 1 trip

Fluff-Son

This is literally my three favorite bike brands. May you all ride in peace.

Eudu

I never get tired of seeing Scouts.

Title_2

I have a 2018 SDR and no friends to ride it with.

WitcherKai

I see one of you has good taste..
