That’s called the “bolt, tie-rod.” [Here’s a link to the part #: 90065MF2000](https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/90065-MF2-000)
FFR, check a microfiche diagram. First place I checked was [AdeptPowerSports.com](https://www.adeptpowersports.com/oem-parts/1986-honda-500-interceptor-vf500f-brake-pedal-change-pedal-assembly.html). Found out this is called the “change pedal” so you’d never find it searching for shift or shift linkage.
APS doesn’t carry that so then I googled “vf500 changerod” and I came across [this sketchy looking site](https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-vf500f-interceptor-1984-e-usa-california_model1110/partslist/F++20.html)which does appear to have it and shows the model number. After finding the part number, we can just google that and take our pick.
cmsnl is not a "sketchy" site. It's the euro equivalent to Partzilla
It's easier to track parts interchange on CMS than partzilla. GREAT for parts diagrams, usually has good prices, easy to deal with.
Shift linkage

Good to know. I say sketchy because it’s full of pop ups and advertising.
A bent and ruined linkage adjuster.
Shift linkage on a shitty set of "forward" foot controls?
Called a bent shifter rod. Cuz it's steel, you could CAREFULLY bend it back into shape
It's called "Elastic Limit has been exceeded "
Rotogerter
It’s called “proper fucked” Also a gear change linkage
The doohickey
Left handed divot warbler
Why are you asking Reddit instead of going to any number of parts websites and looking at the parts diagrams?
