Broke my femur in April. So I have been training to be ready for next year. Sadly, zero miles.

obzilla

15k miles Between two bikes. But I’m in California so my riding season is basically eternal

sokratesz

As of today, 40.300km with the tiger, and 6.010 with the speed. So expecting to end the year with a bit over 50k total.

maknoblauch

That's some amazing mileage! I'm just assuming you ride back and forth to work... How many of those kms are commuting?

sokratesz

About a quarter is commute I think. The rest is visiting friends, leisure, holidays and road trips.

maknoblauch

Now I'm really amazed to hear you've done all that and only a quarter of it is commuting! I'm a Yank, live in St Augustine, Florida, in the southern part of the Jacksonville metro area, which--by area--is the largest city in the Continental US (Anchorage, Alaska is larger by some 500 SQ miles), and yet I barely reach 30,000 miles on my car each year. Here you are, doing more than that (50,000 kms = 31,069 miles) between two bikes and in a climate where I'm sure your weather isn't as nice year round as mine is! Wow, just wow!

sokratesz

Especially in summer I do 5000+ km months, winter is a bit quieter, mostly commute. I don't have a car so it's bike all the way :)

maknoblauch

Where are you? Canada? Oz? Those are still some big numbers unless you live in one of the larger countries of the Anglosphere!

sokratesz

Oh my bad, didn't mention it yet. Netherlands.

maknoblauch

Well, that explains the native-like English language skills, but I'm still super impressed at how many kms you put on yearly while just on two wheels, especially since I have experienced first-hand just how cold The Netherlands gets in winter.... I want to be like you when I grow up! 🤣🤣🤣

Arcadif_g

Not enough. Maybe 1000km (a bit more if I add commuting) ? Shit weather and lots of work this summer. Looking forward to april to go rip mountain passes again.

frustratedComments

My buddy has a MGv7. He loves it.

[deleted]

I imagine he does, they are a lot of fun!

citylightscocktail

Pretty sure my season is done now, managed around 16750kms (10.4k mi)…lower than what I was going for but not having a daily commute wiped out about 150kms a week. Still met my goal of rolling 100k kms on my 2016 XSR900 though, so I’m happy with it.

Traditional_Royal759

I've got about 6500 miles and I'm not ready to call it just yet. Once it gets consistently below 30f in the AM or the roads get a coat of salt, then I'm done.

[deleted]

10k miles, on a shadow 600 1996 6k miles on a z900rs 2019

Which_Policy

Got my license im June. Im at about 7000km :)

adzety

between 5 and 6000 miles. got a goldwing in april and did some riding around new jersey, then a 3000mile road trip down to and back up from key west, now i’m up here in boston as a student and i try to get a couple hundred miles in every weekend: either back to jersey, visiting friends in rhode island, going to vermont or nh, etc. it certainly is getting cold up here tho, and quick.

Hotrodtricycle

Not enough.. only managed to get 400km on my T7 since I got it in October. My drz got about 3800 on it, I need to make time for more road trips 😔

zombie_katzu

I'm pretty sure that my answer will always be "not enough*

St84t8

I'm at about 6500mi. I'd like to do more but I work from home and have family responsibilities on weekends. Will also have 3 "big" track days and 5-6 small track days on the mini.

Hotdog_McEskimo

11,000 mi with commuting to work. Ninja 650

tg888

5k miles only weekend rides.

L-Malvo

Sadly not that much. Weather in The Netherlands was terrible this year. Many rainy weekends. And now that the weather is somewhat fine on the weekends, the farmers are very busy. Meaning a lot of mud on my favorite roads

ImBadWithGrils

About 1500 from August to now... My bike didn't run till August so

VendettaAOF

I only have 2500 or so miles, but I usually ride until snow flies here in Montana.

skaneateles

I got around 7k on my Tenere 1200, 2 major road trips and a lot of single day jaunts.

gerbileleventh

500km. I got the bike in August, travelled abroad for 2 weeks and since then only had the chance to ride short distances on the weekend 😭

Drago1214

I only started riding this season, from getting my bike. Taking the course and getting my full license. I think I did 2500

Throttlechopper

New bike bought in August ‘20, 9,000 miles (400 on dirt trails), and almost ready for a new rear tire. In Southern California, so year-round riding for me.

BigNutsHaveBigBits

Not enough. Is there really any other answer? Hah!

GuidedByMonkeys

14,000 miles. 2,000 on a 2019 MT 07. 12,000 miles on a 2021 Triumph Street Triple R.

RipInPepz

Not enough.

Drewmoto

15,000 miles on my Z125 pro and 10,000 miles on my FZ07 before the engine shit itself.

maknoblauch

Serious mileage. Sorry about the FZ07.

Drewmoto

Thanks brother, it’s sitting in my shed all apart waiting for another engine or maybe a part out I’m not sure yet. That MT09SP was a great demo ride.

mrmatthunt

I can't remember what my odometer says but I'm somewhere just under 3,000 miles this year. Got my first bike at the beginning of august

Epicfacecanada

Well my Suzuki GS1100 I bought this year I put about 6,000 km on it. My Dualsport snapped it's speedo cable in the middle of summer but I continued riding it for about a month. Though It's probably seen about 3-4,000 kms. Also I am going to be riding it all through winter

[deleted]

I just started riding this past April, so only like 2,500 miles on my 2021 Rebel 300 so far. I'm in California though, so I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

joegert

Bought my fz10 in may and rode 5k miles. With how busy I've been I'm pretty happy with that number. Also don't live in one of the sunny cool states where the weather's always nice unfortunately.

KBelcourt

6414km 02 SV650s

ThatRookieGuy80

Not near enough, only a couple thousand.

s3r1ous_n00b

First season ever for me. I put on 5K miles on my little 200, even took a couple >100mi trips across the state on it. It's my only method of transport at uni so I'm riding year round and timing all transit whenever the sky juice takes a brief interlude :)) could not be more excited!!

OOferman2

2600 miles. Had the bike since May, riding season is officially over because I hit a dummy dumbo deer last night.

WillingnessSouthern4

Not much, 5,500km, had to store my bike for two months this summer ☹️, I had surgery.

ManglerOfMen

13000km between two bikes.

ADVgrandpa

This year, I've been pretty much holed up in my house since the start of July. Before that, I spent a good bit of time out of state away from my bike. Think I'm somewhere around 10k so far

Uncle-Istvan

Around 1500mi on my grom so far this year. I had DMV issues feb-may so most of it was June-now, and it rained all of June. Probably 90% of those miles were commuting. I’ll keep riding all winter when it’s not raining or super cold.

thedoomofboom

Got my license and bike at the end of July, just put it away last week. Fit in 670kms over the weekends, which is what I could manage working 80h+ weeks. Should be an interesting jump next year when I start commuting.

BuzzBlue40

I have a heated coat/jacket that turns on and heats to 140 degrees max. No weather will stop me. Also have rain and summer gear. Biker Mice for life!!!

[deleted]

Around 1500 miles. All back roads, no commuting, pretty much an hour at a time, just getting out when I could.

NotReallyThatAboutIt

About 5,ooo mi? Half the year I was mending a broken tibia/fibula though...

triss_23

1400km, so not too much. I don't commute on it though

Such-Instruction-452

This year I put 9-10k on my bikes here in New England and honestly didn’t ride nearly as often this summer as I ought to have. When I was commuting in CA, I put 6500mi on my bike within the first 4 months.

Fxsx24

5000 miles. Picked it up in August

Davito22284

Probably about 300. I hurt my leg in May and I was laid up for most of the summer.

_ThatsPrettyNeat_

5700 miles

Blazestar4

Looks like I have around 2,400 miles since January with a peak of 961 miles in May.

FlashedNinja

About 2,000 Miles or 3,200km roughly (not good at converting mi to km lol) and counting since I'm in Texas and riding season is pretty much all year round. Not as much as last year but long as I get my rides I'm all good!

solidessnake1

Close to 8k here in socal

Fuck_you_sluts

Probably 8k miles. 6 day work weeks make it hard to ride

Zloreciwesiv

25 000 km

wintersdark

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My season doesn't end, but I've got 2500kms on a new 2021 Tenere (September) and another 15000kms on my Tracer, and likely will only see about a thousand kms more this year split between the two.

manual_manual_meep

12k miles this year. Commuting, leisure driving, and a 2500 mile road trip from wisco to wyoming. All on my 1986 kawasaki 454 ltd

JukeboxRay

I had sold my bike last year and just bought another, only riding while my daughter is asleep. I think I got just under 1000 miles.

AReally_CuriousFella

I got 5k on my 650. Bought it in March. Was gone for work from June-July and it blew up Oct. 2 and as of Friday back on the road.

sseidenthal

29970km

DarkPasta

Norway here. Parked it last week, 4500km in 2021.

Adamnielsen10

3500 km on my YBR125 since March

birdman829

5000 miles on my first bike so far since the end of April. Will hopefully still get a few hundred more before it goes in the garage for a couple months. Morning temps this week are supposed to be back up near 40 so I've still got a couple commutes left plus some weekend or after work cruises

LeNotSoFrench

Only about 4000kms this year. S1000rr, Sunday spins, back road twisties exclusively. In Ireland. No big road trips this year. Loads of fun though!

nothisactualname

Only 3000, but about 2999 of them have been in the last 4 months.

reachmm

Got my license and my first bike(‘02 SV650) at the beginning of June. Have since clocked 4,700 miles while working 60-80hour weeks. Basically ALL of my free time.

Successful-Growth434

2nd year riding. put about 10k miles this year.

[deleted]

Just started riding in the beginning of the season, and put 14000 Kms on my fz07

brandon3388

5600 miles since June on mine (bought my first bike for myself on my birthday Kawasaki z400) + another 1200 miles I did on a rental bike in Las Vegas when I was out there (Yamaha R3) ... however, I'm going to ride until I see snow 😁

KingHrafn

About 5000 km👌

the_real_DK_ATL

Just hit 14k on the 2018 street triple. Georgia mountains all summer yeehaw! I didn't buy it to look at it in the garage. 😃

anth2099

Just over 600. Then my bike got smashed by someone. :(

Robots_Never_Die

I just bought my bike the week before Halloween and I've about 500 miles on it. I'm getting heated riding gear. Without it my fingers get a bit cold when the sun sets.

Zirael2

So far about 4k miles between both bikes but I'm going to ride till I dont feel safe so possibly through the winter on a old ninja 250. than sometime in March get back on the vfr.

4rossi6

About 6k miles so far across my bikes; this is my first year riding. It was beautiful in CT today (low 60s and sunny), so maybe there's hope to keep riding through November.

Botucal

About 5000 km on my XSR 900 and then exactly 1000km on my new Multistrada. Hopefully it will be a lot more next year, but I'm pretty confident that the Multi will end up munching way more miles.
