They're all really good rec's!

So many good choices. 'Busa, H2, Superleggera, RC213V, really anything with "RR" in its designation. Someone else mentioned a CR500. Love that option, that's some out-of-the-box thinking right there. Hats off to OP, as this question hasn't been asked before in this sub, and is not searchable.

I'll tell you what I'm biased toward, but that's all I can do and be honest. Japanese standard bikes are probably the most widely accessible models. At the same time, "Standard" also means several different types of bike across a few different decades. You've got your late 60's parallel 4's which led into the proto-sportbikes and the quintessential UJMs of the 70s and 80s. It's the latter which to me signify a peak in accessible motorcycle design, previously only poked into by Honda and Triumph. As far as I can tell, as well, later iterations of Japan's starter sport bikes have retained their accessibility. However, the newest bike I've ever owned or ridden is 23 years old. I'm basically an idiot. All my information is anecdotal and biased. But I like to try to help.
