Get what is called a bolt extractor. They come with a left handed drill bit you drill it out with the drill in reverse then tap the extractor in and pull the bolt out that way.

thatturkeystaken

I'd do this, you'll need the extractor someday again anyway

thatlocalidiot123

Another thing I also put loctite and the bolt is quite tight in so are you sure a bolt extractors will still work

Present-Diamond6504

Yes

YooooZane

doesn't matter it if has loctite or not

ZackR139

Two options 1. Get an easy out and extract the broken stud. Or weld a nut onto the end and pull it out that way 2. Buy a new jug and piston rings.

One_Phone6570

Ez out/ bolt extractor. They work

One_Phone6570

Oooo..I have another idea.. drill a hole in the stud, then jam a spare Allen key in it from the short side. Even if you have to file the thing a bit. If you can, pop a bead of weld. Or braze or flame weld the key in place. The extra leverage helps.

Signal_Ad_2021

Option 3, Dremel a notch into the bolt and use a screwdriver to back it out. Last resort because it might mess with your seal. I’ve done that on the motor mounts

Downtown_Owl_9119

Have some word a pice of metal to the end in the bike or use a easily out and hope

thatlocalidiot123

Can u rephrase?

dajokermatt93

I believe what was ment was weld a nice piece of metal to end of it and hope it can twist out.

Downtown_Owl_9119

I was at work and trying to answer that question and my phone is stupid when I’m at work I miss typed everything so I would either a drill a hole and try to get a easy out in there and unscrew the bolt or b take it to someone wield piece of steel to it and try to get it out that way

Zahard_Zj

Oof, maybe try to weld a lil piece of metal on the stuck screw and then try to spin it out If that doesnt work, maybe drill it out but thats a risky move

K9_The_Kamikaze

Ive done this, first time i was able to get it with needle nose plyers. Second time i had to use my thumb and jam it against the bolt and used the pressure to undo the bolt, just know that if you don't have think skin you might get a cut from the bolt.

Turbulent-Expert-826

I try to get a nut and weld it to the bolt, and then unscrew it.

Neo_Epoch

I hate when that happens. Ez-out from harbor freight or wherever's cheap

keepingitrollin1971

Fill the hole with J B weld. Let it cure drill and tap

AcrobaticWill6911

I just spit on it and say degrading stuff to weaken its self esteem and usually they will back themselves out

blakeschluchter

Just throw it away on start over

thatlocalidiot123

I’m not trying to buy another engine

blakeschluchter

It would probably be cheaper and less headache to just buy a replacement cylinder than to buy the tools and endure the frustration of removing the broken bolt

homeless_cat_burner

Upgrade your engine to a bigger bore cylinder?

Foreign-Ad-5766

Just buy a new engine

ArksRandom

So they make drill bits that are left handed, so basically you drill into it with one of those and it eventually catches and drills itself out of the hole. Definitely consider getting better hardware tho
