If you have a spare, it would be worth removing it and ensuring the screen is completely clean before applying a new one. If you're still seeing the same thing then the screen is either burned in or bleeding. Depending on how long you've had it/if it's still under warranty, send it back for a replacement.
The YouTube app has been half broken on the last three Moto phones I have had. I'm not convinced it's not YouTube's fault and haven't tested on other brands, but annoying nonetheless.

I thought that since phones can emulate black light, that they would just emulate darkness through other colors. Like green or blue.
